New Era Glass - Do Not Use! We awarded Johan Nel our renovations project to replace all existing windows in January 2019. We paid him a substantial deposit (R150 000.00). After 5 months and no windows we eventually contacted him only to be told that he had spent our deposit on his personal living expenses as he was in financial trouble, but assured us he would be back to complete the job. During this time our entire house was open with no windows and doors, through winter, and we had to hire a security guard at R1000 per night for security reasons. 10 months later, after constant chasing, messages not returned, and lie after lie, excuse after excuse, not only is the job STILL not completed, but what he HAS done is a complete hack job that has to now be re-done almost entirely. This includes the windows supp**** by Glass Partners, which are cracked and ruined due to his poor workmanship and installed completely incorrectly. (I am happy to send pictures as I am sure Johan will have a different story, but the pictures don’t lie). If anyone would be interested to see an example of this so-called “windows specialist" ********** workmanship please email me directly. His workers, including Phineas, are dishonest, unreliable, disrespectful, and rude, and know nothing about how to install frames or windows. As the owner, Johan is NEVER on site, and the workmanship is worse than amateurish. We have no idea how he is still in business. It should also be noted that Johan and his wife went on a Mauritius holiday in March, coincidentally right around the time he disappeared with our R148K. He will have all kinds of stories, his wife paid for the trip, he paid for it way before he received our money, etc. etc. Not a word that comes out of this man’s mouth is to be believed. We are going to the CPA, Ombudsman, and then of course the legal route with Johan and will ensure he never does business in Joburg again.
Also known as Born Again Developments. Do not deal with Anthony, the owner of Black Dot Construction, also known as Born Again Developments. He is incapable of working within a budget, he is dishonest in that he blames everyone and anyone for his shocking workmanship, including the wind, soil erosion, previous builders, architects, other sub-contractors, and the list goes on and on. The quality of his work is shocking at best and yet he takes no responsibility for his poor workmanship. When we awarded him our contract we were assured that he would have a supervisor on site at all times, which was one of the primary reasons we awarded him the project. Yet we found out very quickly that he supplies NO supervision on site besides an occasional “pop in” for 15 minutes at the end of the day, just so he can say he was on site. His team will destroy anything that is not removed or covered. Once items are ruined he points to his contract and says he is not responsible for any damages, and then will charge you to repair whatever has been ruined by his team. He charges ridiculous markups which is where he makes his money. We are now in month 11 of a 3 month job. Do not be fooled by his “Born Again Developments” company name. He has no ethics or morals and could care less about his clients, his only motivation is to make as much money as possible from unsuspecting home owners until he gets kicked off site (which we discovered has happened on several occasions). Besides all of this, his workmanship is of such a poor quality that almost everything has to be done over. If anyone is considering using this “amateur”, please think twice before you allow him access to your property.
All I am trying to do is reverse and stop an incorrect debit order on my business account. After 8 attempts I finally gave up. Not only are your work from home consultants not able to hear me on their ridiculous home lines but they also keep you holding for 20 minutes while they're probably napping. FNB send your consultants back to the office to work properly!!!
Do not take this type of insurance from Standard Bank. They cover absolutely nothing. Whether the damage is from a sink hole or thunder storm they will find a way NOT to pay any claims. Their response is always "claim rejected due to wear and tear". You are not covered for anything under this insurance and they are more expensive than any other provider. I will be canceling with immediate effect.
Do NOT order from this company! Rather use Smoke Organic. They will take your money and if your order is not delivered they will refuse to refund you. Completely ********* business practice!
Disgusting service and attitude. Rather order from Smoke Organic Store. Not only do they use the worst courier company in the country but they could care less about trying to satisfy their customer or sort out issues. Stay far away!!
I WANT TO KNOW WHY MY ORDER WAS CANCELED 20 MINUTES BEFORE DELIVERY WHENI ORDERED 2.5 HOURS IN ADVANCE!!! AND DON'T GET YOUR STUPID BOT TO ANSWER MY QUESTION, IT'S ABSOLUTELY USELESS!!! I CALLED MUGG AND BEAN AND THEY HAD MY ORDER READY AT 18:00 SO I WANT TO KNOW WHY YOUR DRIVER DID NOT PICK IT UP!!!! ORDER 42D58
After putting a review on Hellopeter that no-one at Standard Bank EVER gets back to me, I was instructed to forward these emails to a phishing email address which I have been doing for over 4 months now. Not only have I STILL not received the courtesy of a response, but I am getting even more of these spam emails than ever before (about 10 a day - and FROM NO OTHER BANK OTHER THAN YOURS!!!!), so how about you let me know EXACTLY what you are doing about this issue and how your bank is working to ensure that your reputation as the most insecure, unsafe bank to bank with is unfounded!!!!!
My One Number all of a sudden stopped working a month ago. After endlessconversatuons with vodacom I was told to go into the store in Cresta. After going in store I was told by a technician that the Vodacom One Number service no longer works and there is nothing they can do. How is this acceptable when it is a service I am paying for and how come none of the Vodacom staff members I spoke to were aware of this issue? Either the technician is lying or vodacom has not made their staff aware that this is a nationwide problem or it's just easier for them to say "sorry there's nothing we can do, it's not our fault" because they're either too lazy or too *********** to try and find a solution. Disgusting service as usual!!
