Went for new contract on a prepaid number to istore. At the time the store could not use the prepaid number but advised I must go in to an MTN store to migrate my existing number to the contract number. 2 MTN stores later I was referred to the call centre as the store said because it was done at an istore it could only me migrated via the online call centre. I was then advised by yhe online call centre it would be done but when calling back to ask a question a second consultant told me it could not be done and they do not know who can assist.
I have never had an ABSA homeloan or any accounts with Absa but keep getting sms from MBD Attorneys for a homeloan. I called and it is a different person linked to the case but I still get the messages. I have tried blocking the number but still get the messages. I don't know if there is a any way to report this to POPI Act regulator as highly irate that they are using my number and cannot resolve removing it from thier database.
We need urgent help in our suburb in Walmer Heights Port Elizabeth. For the past year we cannot make any calls , there appears to be problem with the tower, we pay huge cellphone bill but the entire neighborhood is complaining, advising as far up as senior management but nothing ever changes. Can this please urgently be investigated as it is a security issue not being able to use your cellphone.

I called on the 25th requesting to downgrade my package even though no sport and continuing to support the premium package throughout covid. I was told that the pricelock team would contact me in 24hrs. I followed up again the 27th still no call. Bar having constant signal issues a simple request cannot even be completed. Please can someone contact me urgently to resolve this.

I have been with afrihost for 3 years now and have recieved nothing but excellent value for money and service. I then decided to change to fibre. Due to cost savings I decided to try another service provider with shocking service and therefore cancelled the order and opted to remain with afrihost and pay more. Well it has been a disasterous exercise. I must admit not from there tech side but their billing side. First I get debited with additional funds when I specifically asked when I did the offer when will the payment due by me come off and was advised in writing once my fibre was active. Only after more than 10 emails since 1 April finally a consultant picked up what the additional debit was for as it did not reflect on my statement. It was for the fibre installation and was therefore deducted immediately and not on activation as explained . Then I query when I am getting the free router and am told I did not order one and if I want one I must pay R249 when the advertisment clearly says free installation free router. I cannot send emails constantly back and forth so would like somebody to resolve this once and for all. I would also like guidance on when I can cancel my ADSL and activate the fibre once the router is recieved to avoid any hidden or unexpected costs. 5 stars for your tech support guys but 1 star for you billing division and sales support. Very disappointed, I am extremely busy and expect good service for which I pay a premium for.
