I got a call from these people. I spoke a sentence, I asked who this was, these are not people I know. I didn't consent to them asking for my credit report next I get an SMS where it says I gave them consent to request my credit report. This is *****.
I'm extremely satisfied with the way with which ABSA insurance have handled my claim. I was stressed out of my mind. But they really made it easy. I provided the evidence I could give them, and they were very helpful. Eternally grateful!
I've had a really busy month last month with trying to get everything ready for SARS, getting my VISA to go to the US. Also then having to do my work, so normally when I get my Telkom bill I try and pay it asap. I forgot to pay it, and normally they just give me the bill with next month added on top and I pay it. I forgot to pay the bill, my line got cut off without any SMS, email or communication going to remind me to pay my bill. This is not on purpose. Now Telkom tells me after I paid the bill after they just cut it off, that it will take 48 - 72 hours to reinstate. It's not like I don't pay my bills. I pay for a 300Mbps line. If I see 20Mbps it is raining. The service is exceptionally poor.
I wasn't registered for provisional tax. As advised by my accountant me paying it once off was good enough. Then after paying SARS in full, meaning I was fully tax compliant, they gave me a penalty. This penalty was for not paying provisional tax, which I wasn't registered for. My accountant suggested I registered for provisional tax, and she reported to me that SARS had done this with various individuals. This is a clear abuse of power towards law abiding citizens. Registering for provisional tax and then s****ing the money together to be able to try and get back on track with provisional tax has been difficult but I've been busy doing my best. At the time of the fine, I asked my accountant to dispute this. I requested her to do this multiple times. eventually they stopped after asking my accountant 3 times to dispute this. Now this ******* organization is claiming a year later I didn't respond and they are sending out external debt collector for R2.8k. SARS should be stopped on preying on law abiding citizens imposing bogus fines, and they should be forced to allow you to pay tax in a matter that is comfortable for you. SARS is also the same company that gives the money to the SA government where the money are misused and abused. This company pretends to have the moral high ground whilst treating honest tax payers like ****. There should be something that can be done to neuter SARS, and make them an honest government entity, who rather than think citizens are ********s, look at government and work on transparency to see that our tax money are used in the correct way, rather than more ANC *******ion.
Phonefinder continues to use ******* robocalls which I haven't consented to. I've reported this, they simply don't care and continue to break the law. This has gone too far. Don't use ****my ****mer companies who breaks the law.
This company keeps doing ******* robocalls which I didn't consent to. I didn't give them my details or ask them to phone me. This happens regularly. I've left a Google Review, they don't care. They just keep on with their ******* activities.
Cartrack continues with ******* activities. I have never given them consent to give me robocalls. They keep either calling me with robocaller or getting people to call me. This has continued for months now. I have asked them to remove me from the database. This is *******, and they should be held accountable for these activities.
I bought various e-books at Takealot through the years. I didn't see that they were going to remove the e-books from the catalogue in 2022, they shouldn't be able to remove something that you have purchased and own. It was already expensive buying the e-books. I wanted to reference one of the books which I wanted to use for a project now, and their knowledge base is out of date. So it's not only hidden that they removed the e-books in 2022, it tells you about a part of the user interface that doesn't exist anymore where you can find it, and basically all the money you spent buying the e-books are down the drain. This is the worst experience I've had with Takealot by far and I don't feel I can really trust them as a company by their attitude in not caring about the inconvenience and absolute thievery that took place by just removing the e-books. This is totally unacceptable and companies like Takealot should be held accountable for this.
I upgraded my contract via the web. The bad service didn't start there however. First I went to the store. I asked for the Core i7 Surface Pro 9. The manager at the store sent me a contract for the Core i5 Surface Pro 8. So I had to get him to cancel the order before they could help me online. I asked for the Core i7 Surface Pro 9 online, I received it today and it is Core i5 Surface Pro 9 not the Core i7. Now I need to send it back which might take another 5 working days for Ram Couriers to get the machine from me which is not what I ordered. I have the papers to show that they sent me the wrong laptop. Once they have returned the wrong laptop, I need to make a new order for the same laptop... How do I know they'll get it right this time around?
I bought a faulty MacBook Pro 16" from Takealot. The machine started throwing kernel panics after a month of use and Takealot replaced the MacBook Pro 16". They were very helpful to replace it. I'm extremely grateful to them. Thanks, your actions won a fan.
