Anmar at Canine&Co is super kind, helpful, and understanding. I really appreciate you!
I've always had a lovely experience at every Hussar Grill that I've been to.
I took my late father's watch (real gold) in to Barksole (N1 City) for a service on 27 November 2022, and paid a R200 deposit. It obviously has a LOT of sentimental value to me. They told me they'll send it away, and the people who service it will phone me in the next two weeks with a quote, which I can either accept, and they will begin. Or I don't have to accept, and they will send the watch back. I don't get any phonecall. I phone Barksole on 28 December 2022 and ask for an update. They only answer after the third time that I try. They can't tell me anything because the people doing the service will only start working again on 9 January. I phone Barksole on 9 January 2023. They only answer after the eighth time that I try. I get told that I have to phone back after 11:00 because the lady who deals with the watches isn't there. I phone back on 10 January. I get told that they don't know what's going on, they will phone me back. I phone back on 13 January. They only answer after the eighteenth time that I try. They give me a quote. I say, "No, thank you. Please can they send it back, I want my watch back." They tell me they'll phone me when it's back. I phone on 18 January for an update. They only answer after the fourth time that I try. They tell me no one has arranged yet for the watch to be sent back. I ask them to please arrange it, because this is beyond ridiculous. I phone on 31 January for an update. They only answer after the sixth time that I try. The watch is not back yet. I phone on 9 February (Thursday) for an update. They only answer after the fifth time that I try. They tell me the watch will be back on Monday. I phone on 13 February (Monday). They tell me my watch will be back the next day. I get a phone call on 14 February to say I can fetch my watch. 10 weeks and two days later. I go fetch my watch. Jacky (who phoned me), tells me she can't give me my deposit back, because they don't have enough cash and she asks me to come back. I ask her when? "In about three hours; but I'll phone you!" I tell her I won't be there in three hours and I'm not driving back. Suddenly, she has enough cash to give me my deposit back. I notice the watch's paint is off on the sides of the face, and there's a dent in the side of the watch. I ask her what is going on? How did that happen? She tells me that she doesn't normally work at that branch. She'll ask Lisa to give me a call on Thursday. I ask her if she just expects me to accept this? She tells me the same thing again. I'm beyond disgusted, appalled, angry, and sad, for multiple reasons. I feel as though I've let my father down. These people simply could not care less. It's shocking. Docket number: 10210088
I placed an order on the 5th of February (Order #60933). I received my order on the 10th of February and it didn't fit, so on the same day, I put in a request to have it returned. I had heard nothing by yesterday, 14 February, and sent a follow-up email. I still haven't heard anything and tried phoning. There was an automated answering service requesting that I press one for Fila. I did and the phone rang for a few seconds and then the call went dead. I tried again, pressed one, and nothing. The same thing happened the third time. I'm concerned because they don't seem to have a good reputation on Hello Peter.
Not actually a review. I'm trying to get hold of someone to report a scammer. There is an option to do this on your website, but when I click on it, it just takes me back to the same page. I also tried sending a message on Facebook but got no response. Not complaining, I understand these are strange times and everyone is extra busy / understaffed. I'd just like an email address, please - I just want to help.
I'm generally very happy with FNB, but I have been trying to solve my problem for the past 2 months. I've phoned and phoned, and just been told to speak to this person and that person, but no one can help me. I went into one of your branches and they just made me phone another person. Eventually, I was given an email address and asked to email them with all my documents and proof. On the 5th of March (2020), I was given a reference number. I emailed again on the 16th of March asking for an update - nothing. I tried asking again on the 23rd of March for an update - nothing.
I've used before, QNo More and thankfully, they sent me a reminder this year to renew my car licence a month before it expired. Quick, simple, easy. They're very kind and don't waste your time. It's very convenient. I even got a free licence disk holder! (It's as if they knew mine was falling off.) Thanks guys; you're all stars!
I logged a return on Thursday, 30 August and asked that it be collected on Monday, 3 September. Murphy's Law, the courier came to collect in the 20 minutes that I stepped out of the office. They told the receptionist that they would be back later. They didn't return. I sent an email at 13:58 on Tuesday the 4th explaining this. Wednesday, 5 Sep, 12:31: Sent an email again. Wednesday, 5 Sep, 16:49: I got a response: "Kindly note that I have requested the courier come out tomorrow in order to collect." Thursday, 6 Sep, 17:52: "I have requested that the collect take place no later than COB tomorrow. " Friday, 7 Sep: Nothing. Saturday, 8 Sep, 13:17: I email asking if someone can please collect on Monday. This is ridiculous. Monday, 10 Sep, 08:56: "I am so sorry that you had to wait so long for collection to take place. I have requested that Fedex come and collect the parcel." He then phones me to tell me he contacted the couriers and they said they have been phoning me for the past week and can't get through to me. I tell him I have not had any missed calls in the past week, and have answered all numbers, private or unknown. He checks that my address is still correct. It is. 13:47: "I spoke to the supervisor at our Logistics department and she assured me that the collection will take place tomorrow." 15:13: I get an SMS: "...your Spree collection *** is booked for 11_09_2018. FedEx will collect the parcel. Here we are. Tuesday, 11 Sep, almost 18:00. Still waiting...
<p>I forgot my password to log on to my Edgars online profile.</p> <p>I click "forgot password", get asked to put my email address in and an email will be sent to me to reset it.<br />Easy enough?</p> <p>Nope. No email.<br />I try the next day. The next day.<br />I check my spam. I email Edgars.<br />Nothing.</p> <p>Today I phone them. I get told that on my profile, on their side, it is "unticked" where it says they're allowed to send me emails/SMS's/etc, and that is why.<br />WHAT? Isn't that "unticked" so that they don't email/SMS me nonsense all the time?<br />How can that be linked to the same thing?</p> <p>"May I untick this?" - Um, I guess so...<br />I wait a while and try resetting my password again. No email.</p> <p>I check my spam. No email.</p> <p>I phone again.</p> <p>The lady asks me a few security questions, puts me on hold, and then I get cut off.</p> <p>I try again. Except no security questions. I get put on hold for 4 minutes and then get cut off.</p> <p> </p> <p>If you don't want me to pay my account, I gladly won't.</p>
<p>I got a phonecall from someone from Vodacom in September 2016, promising me that my contract of R200 a month will go up to R500 at no extra cost / month, no hidden costs, no once off payment.<br />I made him repeat this several time, I made him spell his name to me and give me a reference number.<br />I emailed Vodacome immediately thereafter with all this information and asked them to confirm. No one ever replied.</p> <p>Then found out I'm paying R300 extra a month. When I phoned Vodacome, I continuously get told: "but you're on the R500 contract, that's why..." Of course, my explanation of the phonecall I received in September is not understood and I spend more time on hold than actually talking to anyone.<br />Eventually, I get told by a lady that she can see on her emails that she DID reply to me on that day in September... Strange... </p> <p>I get told that it will take 7 - 14 days for them to listen to the call I received that day. 14 working days was this past Monday, the 13th of March. Nothing.</p> <p>I've emailed Vodacom everyday this week, only to get a phonecall yesterday (Friday) to thank me for my patience.<br />Vodacom owes me almost 4 grand and I have no idea how I managed to not use 1 swear word in this writing.</p>
