Unfortunately there is no rating here that justifies what I have been through with this company. From the get go, there was issues with my order, which ranged as follows: Order placed and fully paid on 21 May 2025. Then I was informed that there was a lead time of nearly 4 weeks. Then I was informed that I can only collect (not free shipping as stated on the check out), however that they are willing to deliver for an additional R1000. Although I am not in agreement with the way they conduct business, I also need the goods, fully paid for, to be delivered and agreed. Then they asked me what my colour selection were (AFTER THEY ALREADY INDICATED THAT MY ORDER IS BUSY BEING MANUFACTURED). Then I was sent the invoice for delivery on 09 June 2025, which was paid for and receipt thereof confirmed. On 11 June 2025, I was informed that I only "ordered" one matrass - I sent them a screenshot to show them that the checkout indicates the bed, mattress as well as the additional matrass for the pull out bed portion. I am yet to receive an answer on that. In the mean time the driver delivered the bed, however the quality is of such a nature that I am not willing to accept it in that state, nor does the matrass fit on the bed. I have informed them of this too, and am still to receive a response.
A month has passed since I app**** for an internet connection, however I still have NO installation.
I have approached Supersonic for a new connection, more than 14 working days ago and I have not yet received my installation. According to the latest feedback received from Supersonic, the matter is with Openserve and I am yet to be contacted to arrange installation. I will be proceeding to report the matter to the ombudsman and ICSA amongst others.
I have been with Supersonic years ago, for several years. Due to financial struggles, I opted to go to a different service provider, whom was able to give a better package, for a better price, after Supersonic refused to assist. I have since relocated and have opted to give Supersonic the benefit of the doubt and app**** to have a service installed from them, however, more than three weeks (more than 14 working days), has now come and gone, which is their promised lead times, however I am yet to have an installation or an active service. I am of the intention to take the matter to the obmudsman as well.
I have recently made various purchases from both TechMarkit Rosebank as well as TechMarkit Menlyn. Both instances, the sales personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, however we encountered problems with two units (laptops) purchased at the Menlyn branch and ever since have had zero luck to have the issue resolved and the one unit specifically, have not been physically in our possession for nearly 3 months now. We were promised a replacement unit, however this has not happened yet and we get met with silent treatment. I am also in the process of taking this matter to get legal representation, as it is clear that TechMarkit does not give a damn about the situation, even refuses to respond to the Ombudsman. From what was such a pleasure to have dealt with, has turned into an absolute nightmare. I am utilising all platforms in the meantime to get the matter resolved, which includes posting on the platforms, such as these and reporting the matter to the relevant authorities and seeking legal assistance. I am tired of having to beg for a WORKING unit that we FULLY paid for and CANNOT use and do not even have in our possession. We are incurring losses of income and TechMarkit literally just shrugs!!! DISGUSTING!!!!
Absolutely disgusting service. Order placed and paid online on 29 November 2024. To my surprise, delivery was scheduled for 02 December 2024. I thought - wow, excellent service! Refreshing change! Just for 02 December 2024 to come, courier arrived and then indicated ONE of the the TWO beds ordered, are wrong and they need to take EVERYTHING back and will return the next day with the correct goods. We are already on 06 December 2024 and no one knows what has happened to my order. No one can give answers, except escalate it to the warehouse. How pathetic? I am proceeding to lay a formal complaint against Bradlows at the Consumer Protection Commission (CGSO) amongst others.
I have placed an order online last night (28 July 2024) - I opted to do an instant EFT and all went well. The money has gone out of my account and the product is paid. Upon trying to establish an estimated delivery date this morning, I saw that on my profile, under orders, it still says on my order, "Awaiting Payment". I then immediately sent an email to the email address provided on the website to ask what is happening and also gave them the Proof of Payment from the bank. Four hours passed and no one has responded to me, so I sent another email, to all the email addresses I can find on the website. Yet, no one even bothers to fix the order status, nor even just respond and say they are aware of some problem. This is really pathetic.
I have received excellent service from 1Fetch in the past. One event specifically stands out - I presume it was the owner, whom contacted me as soon as it flagged on their side that I was struggling with a booking and the system couldn't capture or accept my booking. He went above and beyond to assist and have my parcel booked, paid, and ultimately collected and delivered within excellent time (I pre-booked for the following day). There was unfortunately another incident where it took about half a day for a document to be collected and delivered, which was slightly disappointing. Regardless, 1Fetch provides excellent service and its convenient for those last minute collections / deliveries that need to happen or when you have an emergency. Thank you!
PIN-Axis take deposits and give lie after lie when they have to refund. They even fabricated a Nedbank Proof of Payment, to try and get out of actually refunding us. This is with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman as well.
I think Vodacom is out to gather money from their clients to pay the Please Call Me inventor as my airtime and data just disappeared again. I saw the network dropping a few times today but havent put any thought into this, until I realised my data and airtime disappeared. I loaded 1G of data on 29 January 2019, which lasts me usually up till the 25th or so of the next month. I also got my monthly airtime for the contract value on the 1st, which is also gone. Quite impossible to use up all of this in the amount of time it got loaded till the time it disappeared. I am not using my phone as a hotspot or anything and use the LAN internet throughout the day. Kindly rectify this, or I will get the necessary authorities to look into this and investigate
