I am customer with Naked Insurance - During a recent spate of severe flooding in the Durban area my boundary wall between myself and my neighbour collapsed from the resultant flooding which occurred on 27th of June 2023. I had purchased the property in 2016 with a boundary wall present and, to the best of my knowledge, this was built when the house was built circa 1970/80's. I then submitted a claim with Naked regarding the boundary wall 3 days after the event, I then waited roughly a week for an assessor to show up and take a look - within 5 minutes the assessor said the wall does not belong to me because it has a similar design to that of my neighbours wall. I rejected this statement as it being a boundary wall surely ownership would be split 50/50 to myself and my neighbour? I then asked for a secondary assessment and this took over 2 weeks to complete all the while my wall is laying strewn across my neighbour and my own property's and is a major security issue as now anyone from the street is able to enter my yard AND I am no longer able to leave my dogs outside as they are able to run into the street and cause havoc with neighbouring dogs and potentially get hit by passing vehicles. Naked has since utterly rejected my claim saying that firstly the wall does not belong to me so I cannot claim for it and secondly the wall was not built according to SABS building standards that were introduced in 2011! (SANS 10400 -K -2011) I find it ludicrous to expect a regular person with no building or engineering knowledge to know whether or not a wall is built to fairly recent specifications when the wall was built before I even owned the property, and when the property was insured the wall was standing and presented no obvious signs of failure or damage. Furthermore Naked never once sent out an inspector or assessor to determine any structural issues or concerns before cover started. Seems like it's just another case of an insurer being blatantly dishonest and worming out of any responsibility and leaving a client out in the cold. I warn anybody looking for an honest and reliable insurer to STAY FAR AWAY FROM NAKED INSURANCE. I will make sure to alert everyone I interact with how disgustingly dishonest and conniving this pathetic insurance company is.
I had recently ordered a Black Friday data contract through Vodacom which was a seamless and joyfully easy process which was completed in less than a day. Upon successful acquisition of my new contract Vodacom entrusted RAM couriers to deliver my parcel and this has been an absolute nightmare. I have never encountered such a willfully incompetent organization in all my life. I have been waiting for 4 days and roughly 3 failed deliveries and I still do not have my parcel. I submitted my work address for delivery and specifically let RAM know that the parcel must be delivered before 4pm as that is when my office closes and no one will be able to accept the parcel after that time. They have been unable to meet this very simple request the driver either shows up at 5pm when there is no one to accept the parcel or simply doe snot pitch up at all with no communication whatsoever. I have tried numerous times to call RAM and speak to someone who can assist but the lines just go dead halfway through waiting to speak to a someone in the call center. I am at my wits end with this useless company and I am already considering cancelling my contract with Vodacom as it doesn't seem like I will be receiving this sim card any day soon. Also how bizarre that RAM has a policy that nobody may contact the drivers to directly speak to the person who is supposed to be delivering my parcel.
I traded in my iphone for the S22 during the trade-in campaign cellucity had, it was a rather painless and easy experience. It took over 2 hours to finalize everything but the service I received was stellar and went through without an issue. I think I will use them exclusively when upgrading or changing phone as I they they approach you without bias for any particular carrier, in my experience. I was shown multiple contract options from 3 of the major networks and I went with what suited my budget and habits best. Staff are well trained and friendly and I didn't have to wait ages to be seen to. I would recommend them to a family member or a friend.
I have been receiving unwanted and unsolicited calls from CarTrack for the past 5 days. I have asked the call center agents numerous times to remove me from the dialing lists and refrain from contacting me again, yet they seem unwilling or unable to do so. I have submitted a complaint to the information regulator in hopes of deterring this unscrupulous company from continuously harassing me via telephone calls. The call center agents are particularly rude and obnoxious. They do not want to hear that you are not interested. I have asked every single agent I have thus far spoken to, to remove me from the calling list yet I am still bombarded by calls, and when I politely ask to not be contacted again they either ignore me and slam the phone down in my ear. I will recommend to anyone and everyone who is willing to listen that they should never do any business with CarTrack as I can only imagine what abhorrent customer service they offer if they cannot even get something as simple as this right. They have removed my previous review but I will keep posting it every time they delete it. Disgusting company!
Constant unsolicited calls from this absolutely disgusting corporation. 5 calls in one week offering me a tracker for my car which I decline every single time they call me. I have asked numerous times to be removed from their dialing lists but it seems the incompetence is so far gone they don't know how to stop harassing people who don't want their rubbish service or products. I thought the POPIA act was supposed to stop idiots like this from constantly harassing people with unwanted calls but it seems either this scumbag company either don't give a damn or just too stupid to actually listen when someone is not interested. Absolutely rude and incompetent call centre staff who simply hang up in your ear midway through a sentence when you say: "no thanks, and please stop phoning me!"
Absolutely horrendous and downright non-existent service from this joke of an insurance company. I have been a loyal Momentum customer for a number of years and had decided to move all my insurances under one roof (Momentum). What a bad decision that turned out to be. I'm currently cancelling all my dealings with Momentum as a whole. Life insurances, Medical Aid, Car insurance, House insurance, Contents Insurance. EVERYTHING! Since the damaging floods in April in KZN, I submitted a claim through the app twice! And have left numerous call back requests because I got tired of sitting on hold for 30 minutes a time while trying to be productive at work. To date i have not received one call back from any representatives from Momentum. When phoning to query why I have not been called back or none of my callback requests have been answered I'm told there is no history of any requests or claims submitted on the app. What a pathetic, useless joke of a company. I would recommend to anyone and everyone to stay far away from this useless company. Momentum is very quick and efficient when it comes to taking your money and raising premiums but are nowhere to be seen or heard of when it comes to making a claim and actually providing the services I've been paying for over the years. I will tell every single person I come across about the terrible, non existent customer services this useless company cannot provide to paying customers. I have already cancelled all my insurances and moved over to another company. Not that Momentum really cares because they couldn't even be bothered to phone me.
I got the 400/400gb LTE deal last year November for Black Friday - Initially I was very happy with the service and everything was going well but I've noticed a very substantial decline in the quality of the internet I'm paying for. It has now been roughly 5 months of usage and I can hardly watch Youtube videos on 240p if someone else in the house is using the internet aswell. The only reason I'm giving a lackluster review is because this is a 24 month contract and I still have 19 months to go which makes me worried what kind of internet I'll be getting in the next 5 months. 400gb is not much good to anyone if you cant even open a facebook page - really is a bit pointless and a waste of money.
I have been trying for 2 days to cancel my car insurance policy. Constantly shuffled from one department to the next or sitting on hold for over 10 mins and the calls just get cut and I have to start the irritating process all over again. Its absolutely infuriating to have to deal with such an incompetent company! I have been trying to cancel my policy before the next payment but at this point it looks like I'm going to get charged for insurance I no longer want or need! I will never recommend this useless company to anyone ever again! Nothing but empty promises and absolutely disgusting non existent customer service. I will go on every platform available to me to let people know not to do business with Budget Incompetence. If I could give zero stars that would be more inline with the service I have received.
2 months ago I requested to upgrade my Telkom LTE service from the 10/10 service to the 30/30 service. I noticed that the naming on my dashboard had been changed to reflect this, however my data amounts were not updated and I had been charged for the 30/30 service but I was only receiving the data for the 10/10. I immediately brought this to the attention of customer support who could only say they will get back to me (they never did) I have been fighting with Axxess for over 2 months now to have a refund credited to my account and to resolved this issue by simply leaving me on the 10/10 service as I had already cancelled all my accounts with them because they are so useless and unhelpful. Now they are still charging me for a service that I am not receiving and customer service is absolutely garbage, they just say they will update me on the situation. ?I want my money back! I don't understand how one company can be so utterly incompetent with regards to such a simple matter as this. Very quick to take your money but takes forever to get any useful information or anyone willing to actually help. Absolutely garbage company and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
Constant unsolicited calls from this extremely unprofessional company. I have received two calls within 5 minutes from each other and this is becoming an almost daily occurrence, bordering on harassment. I don't know where these people got my number from since I have opted out of receiving telemarketing calls. This is extremely annoying to keep receiving these calls while I'm at work. Absolutely disgusting business practices from a very unscrupulous and persistent company that will not leave me alone and doesn't seem to understand that I'M NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES!!! SO STOP PHONING ME!!!
