If you want to sit without electricity while paying without fail then sure come stay here. If you value your time and family, stay away from this place. We've been without electricity since Wednesday (13 Dec 2023) and we still don't have it. There was no official communication sent to EVERY tenant. This guy called Francois came Thursday last week here and spoke to a few people in a corner outside the premises. Sending texts, calling, emails etc all getting ignored. On Saturday this Francois person finally responds to an email chain I had started. Basically the only thing he said that mattered was that "I am communicating on WhatsApp, thank you". This is after he told me some weak excuse that the city needs to come and switch the power back on. I then asked why he can't simply send a measly email to everyone and bring them up to date. That's when he reveals his special WhatsApp group to me which I have since been added to. This dude! Obviously I'm not on your special WhatsApp group that's why I'm in the blank. So he was seeing these texts, missed calls and emails but thought he was too precious to even ask for my number and add me to this group of his. Up to now all we know is this is with some mysterious contractor who needs to come and switch the power back on. December groceries? ****ed. Have to spend time going up and down charging powerbanks and backups. There's also someone called Dora.

Lol I just bought insurance for 2 cars, policy starts in Aug. Having read the reviews here I'm definitely cancelling first thing tomorrow morning. Wow I can't believe a company can be so bad.
Been a fibre client for the past 2 days and I'm happy with the service and constant feedback and easy communication lines with Afrihost. I chose vumatel as my fibre provider and their service is terrible to say the least. Line has been unstable eversince it was activated by Afrihost. 10mbps line but I get less than 1mbps sometimes. Today there is a outage of vuma fibre in my area. I feel sorry for Afrihost being associated with vuma. 2 completely different service levels. Afrihost 10/10 vuma 1/10 honestly.
Rating: -1 Got my fibre installed Thursday and Friday Afrihost had activated it. The line was unstable from the get go, it's a 10mbps line but I was getting less than 1mbps at times. Don't get fibre from these guys, its all just hype. This morning the modem is flashing red and there is no internet access. Trust me, you don't want to be with these guys. Unless you want to log calls daily. It's been less than a week for me and I regret canceling my adsl with telkom for these guys. Yeses!!
I have the vitality drive sensor installed my car. When I left Jhb for the Eastern Cape in December my score was 350+. One thing about that side is that cellphone reception is not 100% reliable especially for data. So I was using my car not so often but I used it. Sometimes I'd have a reliable connection and my phone app syncs with the sensor in the car but most times this would not happen. When I returned back to Jhb last week I noticed that my score was a 7. I only understood later that I was being penalised for something I had no control over - a reliable data connection.
I'm a new client and let me say, I am surprised that an insurance co kept their word. I just got my cash back for driving well :) I was not expecting this because I don't trust insurance companies but I the sms came thru today and I just felt satisfied with Discovery - for keeping their word! Discovery kept their word from month 1 and I am pleased. It means alot to me, I am confident now that they will be there for me during my time of need. It's not about the cash back but the confidence they instilled in me that they say stuff which they follow on.
They do not respond to call back requests via their site once you are a client. When I wanted to buy insurance, I requested a call back and within a minute, they called me. Now I run out of airtime trying to reach them via their call center because they don't reply to my call back requests. I just want to ask a few questions.
Would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Nokwazi Mdluli who helped promptly and professionally me via chat. It was a easy and pleasant experience. Keep it up and thanks again
Hey Cartrack You double debited my account and sent me an sms alerting me about the double debit. You also said you were processing a refund. I was very happy about this because I was not even aware of the doublede debit. This was more than a week ago. I have been calling and calling only to be told the refund is being processed. It takes 2 seconds to debit my account but years to refund me. Please, when can I expect the refund?
