It's with a heavy heart that I have to come here and complain. I wanted to open a hospital plan for my 80 year old mother with discovery. A lady by the name of Boitumelo Lichakane was very eager to help. We filled out the forms then she proceeded to tell me I needed to get an affidavit for my mom to say she has not been on medical add since 1989 and can not remember the name of the medical aid. We got this done and I emailed her all the paperwork on the 11 January . I emailed her again on the 13 and again the 14 January. No response. I tried calling in and was told she's busy but will ask her to phone me back. NOTHING!! I emailed again on the 15 January and again the 17 January . Boitumelo did not bother getting back to me re my application or return any of my calls. This is very unprofessional. I landed up phoning in again and complained as I wanted my mom to be covered by the end of January. They told me that the application was incomplete and they will send me forms to fill out. I could not open this password protected from and kept emailing them to please help. On the 19 January Boitumelo eventually emailed me to say she was not in Monday and only saw my application only on Thursday and sent it through to the application department and she is busy rectifying the mistakes!? I'm not sure how she only saw my application on Wednesday as I sent it through on Sunday the 11 January. I spoke to someone else who emailed me the forms I could not open and I have to get another affidavit for my mom saying she is on SASSA. This was not asked for in the beginning. I have a letter from SASSA so not sure if this will be accepted. Needless to say my mom's application has been manually deleted due to the incompetence of their staff and I have to reapply. Obviously Discovery has enough people and us minority are not important. Very very disappointed.
Again I must write how disappointed iam with Affinity. From day one I have been let down. Even though they made an effort to upgrade my scheme and I pay less,the service remains disappointing. I had to redo my chronic for their approval only half was approved. Even after been diagnosed with diabetes T2 for three years they tell me I don't meet their qieteria. I was declined a gastroscopy and colonoscopy as they say I have an existing problem even though this had nothing to do with my "existing" problem. I'm just curious as to how they make these decisions with ones life? Are you all medical doctors? So our experienced doctors are obviously not as qualified as all your staff who decline everything! I'll obviously have to land up in hospital as an emergency to get help,or maybe they will decline that too. Worst medical insurance ever! Can't wait to find something new. Don't waste your time with them ,paying little means little service.
I'm so disappointed with affinity health. I eventually found a medical aid I could go on as I'm no longer on discovery. I asked the consultant who signed me up if I could pay for my insurance up front for the year. She advised me that once my first payment went off I just needed to phone them and they would arrange this. Well guess what , I was told they do not allow this and I can't pay up front. I'm very angry as I specifically asked this question before I signed up. I was **** to and want someone to tell me why you lie to get people to sign up. Not professional and unetticate.
They won't give you a quote unless you provide your banking details. First medical aid I have ever come across that asked for this. When we declined they said they can't help us!? Really bad service
I have shopped at Makro Nelspruit twice and never received my specials. Yesterday we went and bought all the specials on their promotion pamphlet and yet when I got home, I only received a few items on special. They have charged for individually for all their items on promotion. I spent a fortune. Why show discounts on items and not receive them at the till. This is very frustrating and very annoying. I had the best service you could ever receive from a service provider. They phoned me back and gave me step by step instructions on how to get my internet working. Not only did they give me step by step instructions on wattsapp in case it happened again,I even got a follow up message asking if everything was working way after working hours. Other service providers can learn from these guys. Great customer service thank you!!
I ordered a croc shoe as a gift size 9. They delivered a size 11, not only once but three times! I can't get hold of anyone via phone , only email. I had to eventually cancel the order and ask for a refund, not a credit as I would like to purchase the shoe somewhere else. I was told it will take 2-3 weeks for them to decide if I can get the credit. I'm totally devastated,as they quick to take my money but I have to wait for a refund which is totally their mistake. So very unhappy!
Such bad service received yesterday, my hubby took his car in for service and found out last night, they had ****** his air dots and a full packet of stimrol gum. Really such a big company with such petty theft. Hope they can give me some answers ?
<p>Thes people phone you 24 hours a day even if they let the phone ring only three times. I have even had the phone put down in my ear. Iam making payment every month and they still harrasse me. Please stop phoning me or I will block you. Worst service in the history of attorneys. You people should be ashamed at the way your call centre contacts and harrasses people. Tired of all the appologies and Iam tried of all the phone calls .......You excuses are also getting lame....think of new ones!!!</p>
