We purchased a cellphone on Alibaba. The seller sent us a video showing how the phone works but they do not open any app or shows much more than the front screen. When we received the phone it did not want to allow me to set up the phone with my email account so the phone can not run any apps. When you go into the Settings it shows **** information. None of the specs are what was advertised and the phone does not even switch on anymore. We have been disputing the refund for weeks on end and every time Alibaba closes the case and says they seller sent a video. We uploaded a video and photos as our proof that the phone is **** and now the phone wont turn on so we can do nothing more. I have communicated with the support team almost every day, begging that they must look at our evidence but nothing was done to assist us.
Lee Wayne at Cell C assisted my husbnd. 1. We trying to cancel the contract. he asks, why do we want to cancel, Cant someone take over the contract ext. 2. Then Lee wants us to pay for 4 days of the month of they will not release the number. This is now after they have struggled for months to change a Deb order to EFT. So every month we pay EFT but they keep going and debiting an account we no longer use. We then have to cover penalty fees and re connection fees. These arguments should be in calls logged over the last few months. They can go listen to the recordings. 3. Lee then threatens that Cell C will take legal action against my husband. 4. At what point will Cell C look at the mistakes they made and never fixed. Costing us money to cover penalty fees and our bank charges.
We had a Data contact with CellC for 2 years. We never got the Data. We requested a call to be logged a year ago for the recording to be fulled of the day I changed the contract to Data contract but have had no feedback. My husband changed banks and requested to change the 1 contract to EFT. On the system in the store it shows its a EFT contract but every month he pays EFT and Cell C deducts the old account and bills my husband and then suspends the account. Then he must pay a fine to have it activated again. This has now also been going on for about a year. He is also trying to cancel the EFT Contract but now its is deactivated again and we need the number to be Sim Swapped. We are just not getting anywhere with CellC but we keep paying. The new Call Centre they using Merchant CX is a disaster. The agents don't know anything about the Cell C contracts or even how to pull the information?
We have ordered from Shein a few times over the last 3 months and all our products we got was spot on. If you know your side and work with the information they supply then your outfits will fit perfect. We discovered Dros Okavango in December and what a delight. I worked at the original Stellenbosch Dros many years ago and I must admit when I walked through the doors it took me back to those days. The look and smell is still Dros. They have very nice specials from Monday to Friday and the food is still amazing. I must admit I did miss the veggies, especially the Creamy Spinach. There is also a Saturday Breakfast Buffett worth a try. The friendly staff and the live music all ads to a wonderful experience . But don't forget to book a table :)

I am shocked to hear the new Mr Price return rules. I got 2 tops as a gift from a friend. Both have tags on but I do not have the slip. 1 Top was R100 and 1 Top was R110. I wanted to exchange the tops but was informed that the value of the top are now R10 and R30. I was shocked and asked the woman to pls show me where in Mr Price can I find a top for R10 and R30. She could not and told me they do not have any in stock. How can the sell a product for one price but on return of the product they want to give me R10 or R30 for the top? I have logged the complaint but I am still waiting for Mr Price to contact me.
Not many people know the pain of finding close when your son is 2 meters tall. Mrs. G Petersen from the School and Leisure Willowbridge went out of her way to assist us with blazer for my son. Non of the blazers fitted him so she had 5 blazers delivered to the store for a fitting to have a custom blazer made form him. Really good service.
