My vehicle has been at Proline since early January under an insurer‑appointed repair, and the experience has gone from disappointing to downright unacceptable. While Presha’s communication has been outstanding, it is the only professional aspect of this entire process. What followed has been a pattern of empty promises and last‑minute excuses. I have been given multiple “ready” dates, all shifted with barely any notice. On 27 February, I arrived at 16:00 as instructed, only to leave close to 18:00 with the boot alignment and paint issues still unresolved. I was then assured that my vehicle would be collected from my workplace on 3 March and returned the same day — yet again, this did not happen. I was only informed at 15:45 that the return was cancelled, leaving me stranded and scrambling for transport. I am frankly not impressed with how this matter has been handled. The constant last‑minute changes, broken commitments, and complete lack of follow‑through have turned what should have been a straightforward repair into weeks of unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and wasted time. The real issue is not the repair work — it is the total lack of reliability. Commitments are repeatedly made and then quietly abandoned, with no regard for the impact on the customer. This is not a once‑off mistake; it is a consistent pattern of poor service and disregard for the time and responsibilities of the people relying on you. After more than six weeks of shifting timelines, empty promises, and disrupted work days, my patience is exhausted. This level of service is simply unacceptable.
PG Glass Malibongwe Drive Strijdom Park has the most appalling service. It took 10 minutes to locate the salesman and the comment from colleagues in a neighbouring business was' he is always missing in action' When found the attitude was condescending and one of doing me a favour. ...not what is expected from a professional company with a reputation to protect. Minimal information shared about process, duration of repair and cost. Perhaps it being.a Friday afternoon had something to do with it?
After receiving an uncalled for OTP on my phone, I did what any savvy consumer would and attempted to contact my phone company. Well..... not one of the provided customer service numbers was able to assist. The automated responses had no option for me to respond to and the other numbers were left to ring unasnswered. I fiiled in an email complaint/query and recived an automated response promising a reply in 24 hours. REALLY!? After 40 minutes trawling the web I finally found a landline number where I was put on hold and the call was then cut On phoning back I was reluctantly put through to a service consultant who took umbrage at the fact that I was not happy to share my ID, despite having other personal identification details confirmed. She informed me categorically that she would not assist. In desperation, I shared my ID number as fraud loomed large in my mind. She then informed me that she could see nothing untoward on my account. I insisted on another contact number for the fraud division where I was informed that they ccould see nothing either as this was compnay policy but that my query would be escalated and I would have a response sometime within 2 hours. With fraud and ID theft being so prevalent surely a quicker turnaround could be expected - 2 to 24 hours leaves criminals a huge window of opportunity. Additionally for a communications company to be so hard to reach is surely an antithesis of what they represent.... Epic fail - and this after superb service from a live consultant at their Cresta branch recently.
Mr Price Nicholway needs a definite service and attitude makeover. I had the misfortune to shop at their Nicholway store recently. While I have no problem with self-service, i do feel ignored as a custome when i am totally ignored by staff on their cell phones who greeted my rquestion about duvet covers with a blank stare. The matter was exacerbated when I reached the till point to discover that this member of staff was actually the manager of the store who then proceeded to try and xecuse his beahviour by stating that he did not know that I needed asssistance. His harangue continued as I completed my purchase (an item I sadly needed) and left the store. This confrontational attitude was aggravated by the fact that his name badge was worn upside down - an excellent example of professionalism for all his staff (not)!Suffice it to say I will not be back at this store anytime soon!
in a time where good sertvice is a rarity, Innocencia Rakgalakane must be congratulated not only for her excellent service but also for her upbeat attitude and her human touch. Great job!
Epic service failure at Standard Bank Killarney mall. Bank opens at 9 with one teller on duty to handle all deposits and withdrawals . All staff already on leave of having a collegial chat over coffee? 25 minutes later and still no service. 2 people ahead of me in the queue. Second teller has just strolled into position! The Post Office beats you hands down with service. In and out in under 10 minutes to renew my car licence on a day when SASSA grants are also heppening. There are some things your app can't do - like efficient and friendly human service delivery.

Sat at the Olivedale branch this morning for 10 minutes before received service. This given that there were 4 tables es occupied and more staff than customers. After half an hour when my order hadn't arrived I looked for a manager. She was right there with her back to the store taking what was clearly a personal call. Once she completed the call to her satisfaction I then received a laconic offer of assistance. 'I don't know what is going on in the kitchen' says she!!!!! To add insult to injury ry when the bill arrives no code to scan for mug app either. Epic service fail although meal was good when it finally arrived.
Moerkoffie in Olivedale is a hidden gem. Small outside cafe eatery with an eclectic style. Had their bread platter. Warm fresh baked with cheese biltong and fig preserve, light cinammon pancakes for mom accompanied by good coffee. Well worth a visit. Excellent service and value for money
Tiny little hidden gem in Honeydew Flower Market Centre. Sevice friendly and on point with good old fashioned scones. Didn't try chocolate cake but looked delicious. Really reasonable prices too! Well worth a visit.
