What a poor network with staff that are very uneducated on how their systems work. I ported my number from Vodacom to MTN to get an iPhone on contract with MTN. The sales agent in store said they will call me and I should then tell them i want to keep my existing number. Nobody phoned me and i got a new number. Then i went to another store and they said i can call customer care and ask them to merge my contract benefits for this new number with my old number. I did that. With my iphone i then received a new sim card. After 2 weeks of using my old sim card whivh i got when i ported my number, it stopped working. I went into the store and they saw my number has been disabled that day. They then figured out that i should start using the sim card i recieved with my phone. That store did not know anything about transferring benefits (minutes/data) from the new number to my existing ported number. When I started using my new sim card, i could not receive any calls. I could dial out, bit not receive calls. Again i went into the store and they said i should do a sim swap, which will be R150 and it might fix the problem. I mean, I was using the contract sim which i received after the prepaid sim, both which i paid for. I cant keep buying sim cards and hope something will work. I insisted that i wont be ongoing any additional costs and that they had to do the sim swap to test if it will work. They refused. I then phoned customer service, explaining my problem, they said its simple, i should dial #330*0000# switch off my phone and wait 10 minutes. After doing that, i had data service, but couldnt make or receive any calls. Phoned again and nobody knows what is wrong or how to fix this issue. Till this day, 1 month later, i cannot receive or make calls, and nobody (not even the Facebook team) can assist me. This is the worst experience ever, such a poor designed system and workflow, even more untrained incompetent staff, and i have absolutely nothing positive to say. To top this off, after DSV delivered my phone 3 weeks ago, i still get calls asking when they can deliver my device. I got a call today from them. I had to explain to them that this device was delivered to me weeks ago. I could have had 4 devices by now with all the attempts from DSV wanting to deliver the phone. Something in the workflow is not really "working". If this issue does not get sorted in the next 48 hours i will cancel my contract at no cost, and if MTN insist in any costs I will go to the ombudsman and explain that they did not provide me with the service they stipulated in the contract. When people call me they get a message saying "The number you have dialed does not exist on the MTN network" and when i phone a number, the call fails immediately. Ok MTN, i will post this review every day until my line is fixed. Lets go.
I logged a claim for household items that was damaged due to a loadshedding power surge on the 5th of July. Two different assessors has been sent out 3 and 2 weeks ago respectively to assess the damage. We have not had any communications regarding the assessment, and we have to phone the call center and ask for the guy who is assigned to manage our claim. Every single time we have phoned, when we eventually got through to the claims department, our claim consultant was busy on a phone call and couldn't take our call. Every single time!! He also never came back to us with feedback. If this is the business model for Discovery Insure, to ignore a claim and hope it goes away and not communicate with their insurers, I will go to the length and call this insurance company "Pathetic"!!! Everyone should be aware of this, and that this is the way they operate. You need to complain and rate them and hopefully something comes from it. Discovery needs to do introspection and assess the kind of people they employ, because the consultants working on our claim (Yes it has been more than 1, it was handed over to another consultant in this month and a half we have been struggling), wouldn't make the cut in any other effective companies payroll!!!! Send Insurers the consultants personal details so they can contact them directly (everyday for a month and a half) and then hope and pray something will be done. Claiming they solve claims in 48 hours is the biggest public lie in history!
Stay away from GSR Security Solutions. Owner is a fraud who uses his online store as a cashflow opportunity. Whenever you order something from the online store, he will contact you and say that there was no stock from the supplier. Then he will say that he will make a refund, and you will listen to Gerhard's excuses for months and never get any refund. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE STORE, you will never get the goods or a refund. If you are a victim, please look up my Google review and make contact with me, I am getting cases together to send to the Merchant to close down the online shop.
I bought an item at an online shop in November 2021 which uses Yoco as a payment gateway, and I used my Credit Card to do the payment through the Yoco portal. The client couldn't deliver the product and gave me an email address (paymentops@yoco.com) of Yoco to contact and give them the order details to get a refund. Roshaan from Yoco came back to me telling me that they cant assist me and I should contact my bank. The client showed me multiple other users who requested for a refund and was refunded. I am so frustrated as I have been struggling for months to get the refund.
I took out the warranty and a month later my vehicles turbo broke down. The assessor claims that it is because of wear and tear and they do not cover for that. Any part of a car that has some kilos on will have wear and tear and if they constantly use this as an excuse to get out of the settlement of claims then i don't want to do business with them. All parts of the car breaks down because of wear and tear, no part will just break without being used. This warranty is to cover the breakage, not only breakage that happens overnight with no reason. Simply not worth taking out a mechanical warranty if they keep using the same excuses (Other complaints seen on HelloPeter indicates that this is a regular excuse). Stay away if you want to be treated fairly, look for another warranty provider and let me know.
