We have been having an issue with our fibre lines since Thursday, 2 October 2025, we called Vodacom fibre and was advised that they are escalating the matter as I work from home and am totally dependent on fibre for my work. 3 days later, we haven't had a call just an sms stating that they are aware of the report and that their field partners will be in touch shortly, fast forward 2 days later we haven't had any contact in any form regarding a solution to this infuriating issue of no fibre...we called them on Monday evening, only to be told that the matter has been escalated....escalated to God knows what!!!. We called Vodacom again on Tuesday, and as well as today and once again we were told "THE MATTER HAS BEEN ESCALATED"....I am shocked at the lack of service from Vodacom, and the total disrespect from VODACOM in trying to sort out the issue at hand...we are customers who have always paid Vodacom on time and if this is the level of service we are receiving then I would rather take my business to another service provider....this is truly pathetic and not to mention the loss of revenue on my side...will Vodacom reimburse me for this???
So I just renovated my kitchen and I have chosen Defy to fill my home with all their amazing products ranging from the stove, the extractor, my microwave and fridge, the additional prizes would be an amazing finish to my Defy Kitchen....products worthy of praise and support...
I went to the Pick n Pay at Malvern Centre and was very impressed with the service rendered by Brian from the A.B.I who was manning the cool drink section in this store. He stopped what he was doing to advise us on the specials and also went and got us the cool drinks without any fuss....his service and dedication serves to show us that good people do.still indeed exist....well done Brian...I hope your good work and efficiency gets rewarded.....
Very untidy, unkempt, dingy, stuff isn't fresh,staff unfriendly have nothing nice to say about my visit there.... The management should do something about the cleanliness and layout of that store...
Went to Take and Pay to buy some stuff I have mixed reviews about this place... Although the goods are reasonably priced the shop itself it's camped and very untidy. The staff aren't very helpful and the bakery and fish section isn't very neat.. Management please do something about this as we love to come to shop at your place but the cleanliness leaves alot to be desired.. Not to mention the parking which is so poorly designed...
Went to the Durban Spa at Coastlands must commend the staff for efficient service and kindness. The masseuse that attended to us were very professional and made us feel very comfortable through out the massage... Asking us if we were okay and comfortable. Their prices are very reasonable and their products are good. Would not hesitate to recommended them to anyone wanting a good massage or facial products. Well done to Durban Spa Umhlanga... Will be back for many more massages..
Went to Shoprite checkers Chatsworth centre today to get some stuff, went to the area where a Staff was unpacking Helios oil, it was too high to reach so I asked the merchandiser for assistance he took the oil and instead of putting into my trolley he unceremoniously pushed it into my hands and I needed 2. He seemed irritated by my request and never offered an apology for his behavior despite me telling him that this wasn't very nice. In this day and age where jobs are so scarce and finances are off most vital importance here we have people that have jobs and dont know how to treat the people that basically pay his salary.... These stores need to have their staff trained in customer ethics.
Went to shop at Manilal Ratanjee at Chatsworth was so happy with the service especially of one Indian gentleman who I think was the Manager of the store. I couldn't find an item in the freezer he went out of his way to ensure that this staff went into the stores and found me what I wanted. Kudos to him I will definitely be shopping at this store, over and above it being so neat the staff are helpful and kind. Keep up the good work at Manilal Ratanjee I shall certainly be shopping there all the time.
Had an experience at KFC situated in the Montford Shopping Centre, 1stly the staff are so unfriendly it feels almost as if they are doing you a favour by serving you. 2ndly they royally messed up the orders and 3rdly the crunch sliders have got to be the worse meal that KFC has come up with. I am so unimpressed their lack of customer satisfaction, listening to the customer and serving the customers who stood their waiting for their orders whilst the staff had a merry old conversation between themselves. To add insult to injury one is made to feel as if we aren't worth the time or money standing there... Maybe just maybe a smile might work for this branch and off course listening to your customers instead off having a conversation amongst yourselves.... Not sure if it's too much to ask....
