On the 7/1/2026 I called in and logged a call for a new washing machine that I purchased in December 2025. I spoke to Vuyo. He took all the relevant information down telephonically and requested that i emailed the serial number from the back of the machine which I did on the 9/1/2026. I have since not had any feedback from them. I called in on 21/1/2026 and was told that my query will be escalated as the request is with the relevant department. I then receive an email stating that they do not have any information and require me to send the details. This is 20 days later that I logged a claim with them. The customer support department is so pathetic they have no clue about Customer service at all. You cannot get hold of the Head office because no one picks ups. I am sitting with a brand new, faulty Hisense washing machine and no assistance from Makro. I will be handing this matter over to the Consumer council as there is no way forward with Makro.
I ordered garments from Ebay on the 14/7 2023 and have still not received them. They refunded me for the 1 garment and the second one is still outstanding. i have sent several emails to Ebay but they do not get back to me with regards to my refund. The promise you a Money back guarantee but do not keep up to their promise. The service on this site and after sales assistance is pathetic. Refund my money
I have a blocked drain and logged a call with Santam a little after 8 this morning. Its 11:45 as I post this review, and this claim has not been resolved. They have called me saying that the Service provider cancelled. In the meantime, water is coming up from the sinks and the toilets. I have made 5 calls to them already and no one seems to know what is going on. I opted to get someone out to have the drains unblocked with a fee of R650.00 and was told that Santam only covers R500 for the claim. So I would have to pay the R150 extra...How pathetic is that, They cannot assist in an emergency and rates are not as per normal. I get a call at 11:53 from a plumber who says he's coming to assist from Soweto...in the next hour...So literally 5 hours just to get someone to UNBLOCK A DRAIN!!! Its definitely time to consider another Insurance company as Santam Service providers are useless.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BUY 1 GET 3 FREE, THEY SCAM U ON TOP OF THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY CURRENCY CONVERSION.....I THINK SHEIN MUST START SELLING INDIAN GARMENTS AS THERE HAS NEVER BEEN AN ISSUE WITH THEM...MIRRAW CUSTOMER SERVICES DOES NOT EVEN RESPOND TO UR QUERIES...PATHETIC SERVICE
DSTV ARE THIEVES.....I had purchased a streaming package on 1 September 2021 for the amount of 409.00 Dstv failed to assist with the connect me or my account. I spoke to several agents and held for hours for their assistants to assist but no one could. They kept making excuses for not knowing anything... They promise to call back in a few minutes and call back after days. So with all the drama with the first time, trying to be a customer with them, I decided to cancel because clearly no one has any clue as to what they were doing. I requested a REFUND. They first had to locate funds which they did and sent a REFERENCE number. Then they request POP which I cannot get as I make an ONLINE payment (put in card details, make payment) and DSTV had not issued an invoice. The Proof of Payment to them is indicated on my Bank stats but this is not good enough for them. They are making all kinds to excuses NOT TO REFUND MY FUNDS.....I have spoken to Palesa Xulu, today 21/10 and she advises that payment is reflecting, But no one has requested a refund...I have sent through Id, Bank statements confirming my banking details its NOT GOOD ENOUGH....This is the PATHETIC SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM DSTV....Dealing with them feels like you in a CIRCUS because 5 different agents give you 10 different answers....FRUSTRATING!
"Without Prejudice"On the 17/6/2021 I called Tracker because I suspected that my husband was in trouble as he had gone out on a job and did not answer my calls. I had been trying on both his numbers including our assistant. This was very unusual and suspicious behavior. I took the liberty of calling Tracker at 11.10 that morning stating that i suspect my husband was possibly in trouble or my truck had been hijacked. I spoke to a lady "I stand to be corrected as I think her name was Mpumi" she took the trucks details and told me that she can see my truck moving, there was no sign of tampering or anything that seemed funny. I literally begged this lady to please send help to check as I was adamant that something was wrong. She said that she would send someone to check. By this time my husbands main line was off. He however managed to answer his other number just saying something like HELP....I immediately called tracker back at 11.17am....telling them that he was definitely in trouble as he said HELP, please send assistance out as I suspect that he was in a hijacking. NO HELP WAS SENT.....According to Molefe from Tracker the call for REACTION was only logged at 11.30am... by this time they had already lost signal of the truck. 20 minutes later after me calling TRACKER for HELP, a call was logged. My husband with his assistant was Hijacked, beaten, all personal belongings stolen, held at gunpoint, tied up and TRUCK STOLEN all under TRACKERS NOSE. Because Tracker did not think my call for HELP was life threatening or FOR REAL.. I have no confidence in this company for the protection of my vehicles and my family. God forbid my husband could have lost his life in the 20 minutes that Tracker took to send out help. I did everything in my power at that time, begged TRACKER to send HELP and they did not, had the lady dispatched HELP when I requested, my Truck would have been recovered.....My truck has not yet been recovered and TRACKER GIVES A DAMN. I called in requesting my call recordings they told me that I am not entitled to it. Exactly what are they afraid off, NEGLIGENCE? It is because of Trackers lack of service my Truck is stolen and my husband could have been dead. I do not recommend this company to anyone who loves their family and take their security seriously as we have been given a raw deal with this company and we sit with a LOSS because Tracker DID'NT CARE. Please reconsider your options when dealing with such companies as your LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT! Rather deal with a brand that has confidence in their product and does not make excuses for their MESS UPS! Unfortunately this is the SCAM TYPE OF WORLD that we live in, its hard to even trust your TRACKING company.
"Without prejudice"I have never experienced such HORRIBLE, USELESS SERVICE in my life. Sanlam makes you cry when they do not want to pay out a claim. I have been submitting documents to Sanlam gap since 26 of May. It is a month later, nothing has been finalized. I have sent everything that was required. I still get emails requesting for more documents which have been sent to them over 10 times repeatedly. You cannot get the help that is required from this company. Different call center agents tell you different things. It is almost impossible to explain in simple English. Sanlam does everything in its POWER not to pay. I have legitimate claims where the shortfall is listed on the Medical aid statement, Doctors bills etc...Is is still not sufficient for Sanlam since the 26/05/2021. When Sanlam wants your business they make alot of promises, Beware these FAKE PROMISES. I literally have to BEG to get the SERVICE I deserve, the service that I am paying for. I would rather pay extra for a GAP cover and get the service rather than having to CRY FOR SERVICE FROM SANLAM....REALLY PATHETIC, GAP COVER NOT RECOMMENDED.
Extremely pathetic service, I ordered goods on 8/10 I have not yet received my goods neither a refund. Customer service only apologizes, says my order was canceled. Fair enough my order was canceled, where is my refund, as it's been a month now and I still have not received my refund. This is totally unacceptable as we trust these companies and make purchases unknowingly without knowing their intentions of actually delivering.
Poor advisor service. I have a Financial advisor who I literally have to beg to assist me with any requirements with regards to my portfolio. Suzanne Uys, does not respond to urgent queries, always an excuse for delay. I have a request pending since 28 September 2020, no help or communication from her. Once again quick to sell you business, hard to keep the promise of after service. Very disappointing service... Second experience with Liberty, it's probably time to move...
