I had taken an insurance cover with outsurance for critical illness and disability and paid my premiums religiously. The claims investigator is ****** and treated me like a *****. He purposely delayed the entire claims process. His manager also advised that I should assist in obtaining the PMA forms from the doctors. This was not indicated in my policy contract. The claims investigator further insulted me by indicating that I have a psychiatric condition which I don't and had never been to any psychiatrist. I was prescribed medication that would assist in sleeping and he was adamant that it was for anxiety or panic attacks. It appears the claims investigator is not clinically inclined or knowledgeable. They treat you like you are a ******** when you are ill and try to claim. Outsurance is a *******. I was also diagnosed with a rare condition which was not listed as an exclusion. Again the claims investigator is refusing none of my claims is a claimable event. They are quick to debit your bank account but when it's time to claim there is always issues. I was also diagnosed with a disability which led to my employment being terminated due to incapacity. The claims investigator advised I won't be paid as the report was by an occupational there and not a doctor. The policy wording and contract does not stipulate the disability has to be a medically boarded situation or has to be signed off by a doctor. Outsurance and its employees lack medical knowledge and thet frustrate you because they dont understand how to comprehend medical information . Outsurance just looks for every reason not to pay and send staff to frustrate you. It is better to look at other insurers when taking life covers
I have taken a cover for functional impairment with momentum insurance. I was not made aware that when registering a claim its up to the insurer if they want to admit the claim. I have lodged the claim in July 2023. Which they declined , the requested the claim be re admitted on an appeal to date there has been several back and forth with no feedback to the way forward. The Momentum insurance site indicates payment will be made once permanence is established, that is sadly not true, its been several months and no payment has been made despite my condition being permanent. It really is a battle to get a claim admitted and it appears they will look for every petty reason why they wont admit a claim despite it not being an exclusion on the contract.
I called to cancel my tracker unit. And I was blatantly refused by the staff member who said I must mention his name as W...... That he will not cancel my contract. This is day light ******* and he was extremely rude.
I had taken a functional impairment policy. I was diagnosed with an anomly that has permanent total impairment. The policy contract does not have any exclusions on con******* anomalies. The contract speaks about severity of the condition. The policy also indicates the condition being diagnosed by a registered specialist after the benefit date. I have only been diagnosed with the condition after 31 years old my life and now momentum has declined my claim. Their policy wording contradicts what they say , so does their website.
I had submitted a claim for critical illness on the 6th July 2023. The client center agent takes frustratingly long to allocate a claims investigator to your claim. I had to constantly follow up which is very frustrating when you are diagnosed with a condition that you still in shock. Outsurance add more stress into your life. I eventually met the claims investigator on the 20 July 2023 which was a Thursday. He advised he will send PMA forms to my doctors on Monday morning which would have been 24th July 2023 Upon my persistence I requested feedback from the investigator where I got a text message indicating that PMA forms were only sent yesterday afternoon. Which was not what the investigator. despite me informing the claims investigator that my husband is a medical personal and we have issues at the family front The investigator still sends my husband PMA forms which has added more stress and drama . I am requesting his manager contact me
Worst dealership ever , pathetic customer service. Switch board operator addresses clients as my " my dear " The switch board operator transfers calls to the accountant who can barely speak well and does not know anything how to manage complaints
Pathetic service from Gateway Arthur Kaplan. The staff is extremely dishonest . They convince you to purchase after you purchase they do not disclose information such as resizing cost . I would not advise anyone to purchase from this store , all they care about is to make the sale and get more money out of you !!! Disgusted
I ordered groceries using the online woolworth's app which took 1 week to get the groceries. Upon arrival the courier service that woolworth's utilises is disgusting, rude and extremely arrogant. The courier refused to wait for my security guards at the estate to call me to collect my groceries and when I did manage to get a hold of the courier hes attitude was it was not like i was not going to give you the groceries and you can report me if you want. He was rude to my security guards despite them pleading him to wait 2 minutes hes excuse was that he finishes at 17h00 and has to leave.
Pathetic service from the receptionist who sounded like an frustrated women, i am 5 months pregnant and i wanted to have my hair dyed and i explained in detail to this obnoxious women, her response was that shes not a doctor and i must ask my doctor if i can dye my hair. It has been established that i can dye my hair however when she answered the phone she was rather unprofessional and was busy having a chat to someone else whilst later acknowledging my call. My question put to her was is the chemicals that you are using in your salon environmental friendly was either a simple yes or no ! Not that if shes not a doctor....it is obvious that she would never be a doctor as thats the exact reason why shes answering calls and cant comprehend. Between simple questions. A doctor will not know if the hair dyes in all salons are environmentally friendly.
I was falsely accused by the owner as she contacted me via whatsap and accused my mum and I of laughing and mocking her clients and staff also running her salon down . These allegations are false ! I have been a loyal client since 2015 and I spend alot at that salon, despite the mishaps in the past , she had the odasity to falsely accuse me .if they was not doing a good job on my hair why would I frequent that salon and allow them to utilise my pictures on their facebook page! This is a terrible salon as you will go in from 7h55 till 14h50 to have hair color and the moment you have few laughs with people you meet at the salon or with your parent ....it is alleged that you are mocking staff or clients ! If they have insecurities it is not my problem I have the right to laugh or talk to anyone I like ....she should not accuse me of such by listening to hear say stories....I am not the customer who ask for discount or anything of the sort what ever price they quote me is what I pay ! I am highly annoyed I have been a client since 2015 despite their mishaps in the past . She has accused my mum of interfering with a hair dryer when my mum asked for assistance as a child complained that it was getting too hot ! Under no circumstances have my mum and I laughed at clients or her staff....I had a certain stylist that I frequent and my question is ....is that salon there to do hairstyles or monitor whose laughing ....it clearly sounds like a kinder garten place as the owner had to call and falsely accuse my mum and I! I'm a strong believer to base accusations with evidence even in the court of law it is required to have evidence!
