I have been with 1life for over 15 years if I am not mistaken they have never given me a reason to doubt them. I have never claimed but what I can say their premiums are reasonable it makes it easy to have a policy for your family.
She kept on calling me Sir but she already had my details from the previous agent ,I had to ask her what name is on that profile she is looking at now she said Miss Patricia Parker and I asked so why you keep calling me sir
They are ****mers they advertised as KFC and they will tale out lots of money from your account and to get refund you must not give them bad review. I have been waiting for my refund from the 13th May 2025.
I can't say much time will tell when I have a claim because that's the problems starts.
So between Momentum health and Crompton hospital they are playing blaming games. Chantal from Crompton her last respond was there is no fault on the hospital side according to their investigation and the clerk that was on duty. On the email they mentioned the person on duty dismissed cash payment with my son but he forgot to mention he spoke to me directly on my son's cell phone when my son called,and I advised him authorization can be obtained between 24 to 82 hours there is nothing I can do 12.30 midnight I will call the medical aid myself the next day. I also requested feedback from Momentum as this date they have not received blood results from the hospital as requested so the authorization can be approved. And we have the hospital files at home that he was sent to RK Khans hospital with. Since Khans didn't do nothing for him he was sent home around 9am with the ecg patches from Crompton still full on his chest.
My son was fetched by an ambulance at home since she couldn't breath and taken to Crompton hospital on the 23rd of July 2024 around 9.30 Pm. He is on Ingwe medical aid with momentum. 12 midnight I received a call from my son saying the hospital cannot admit him because they first they couldn't pick up the information that his on medical aid,despite having his driver's license and medical aid card. Than I spoke to the hospital clerk that night advised me now they cannot get an authorization. At 1am my son called and said his been transferred to RK Khan really how did we get to this. What are we paying medical aid for, to my understanding the authorization can be confirmed between 48 to 72 hours. What was difficult for Crompton to treat my son and sort out the authorization the next morning. When I called the medical aid the next day the authorization was pending because they were waiting for the blood results that were done by Crompton that night. Are this private hospitals going to treat us like this. ..I have had bad rumors about Crompton but never believed until I experienced it first hand.
The lady who just assisted me was excellent and advised how to go about with the issue I had and she will do a follow up call with me month end.
I am very disappointed with Bash, I bought 3 x takkies online and the one was canceled because apparently they didn't have it but I saw it online. Nevertheless I was given a voucher for the inconvenience, to my surprise the voucher don't work online when I called Bash online one agent said its for the store after I waisted almost 30 minutes with her online and she had no clue was she was doing. I went to Musgrave store I spent another 45 minutes trying to sort out this voucher and called Bash online again they said its for online they will investigate why its not going through, I had to leave my 3 pair's takkies in the store. Now I have bought and lost out on that voucher number.
I really don't know what to do with these people. I have complained, I have sent proof of payments to Tshepiso last year already via email. I spoke to NikkiO@mbd.co.za and Zukiswa via email explained the same thing. From last year only December payment has been allocated. I am failing to understand why they not using the reference number and finding payments on their bank statements. The agents choose to call you everyday whole day and yoh must explain same thing. I have advised them I will not pay this claim until all my payments are allocated and they have a correct balance for me. I am willing to go to court . Stop harassing my work people with calls and messages and stop calling me 6am . You guys are *****. I can imagine how many people you have done this too and besides the payments I picked how many you have not allocated.
