I won a competition on Talk Radio 702 around the 15th of October on John Pearlman's show. I was super excited. Part of the prize was R2000 cash. I submitted my required documents on the 15th of October and I still haven't received my prize. They said their turnaround time is about 30 working days. Thapelo sent a mail saying the money would be paid on Friday 5 December, but still nothing! Also, when you phone 011 506 3200 (switchboard) nobody bothers to answer your call.
Alison was good, but I was not told that I was going to need to pay extra for her assistance. I also only found out on my last call that we have a total exclusion for the first 3 months of Momentum's hospital plan.
Makro online has the worst delivery platform ever. They say, "order before 12h00 and we deliver on Saturday" but that never happens. You always get some lame email saying they can't deliver for no valid reason. This is especially frustrating when you have just spent R7 000+ and paid up front for your purchase.
I have bought many things from One Deal a Day but in the last month their service has become shocking! I always order through WhatsApp. They are visibly online but don't even see, let alone respond to your messages. I have been waiting for my order for 2 weeks now and they are just not getting back to me. It seems they don't care.

Last Thursday I was told that the error made on my tax certificate would be fixed by today. After 5 phone calls and numerous emails I have been told by a very uncaring call centre agent that it is not going to happen. This error has now been made two years running Discovery Invest has made my life this last week hell and nobody cares. Dee Dee at least returns my calls but she's not in a position to help me. Four digits on a tax certificate can't be that difficult or time consuming to change.
This is now the second year in a row that Discovery Invest has put the incorrect source code on my tax certificate. Yesterday, Khani at the call centre told me that it would take 10 days to fix. This is not acceptable. I can't submit my tax return until the error from Discovery is fixed. I was retrenched just over a year ago and I urgently need my tax refund. You end up having to jump hoops of fire to get anything sorted at Discovery Invest. A turn around time of 10 days on a mistake they made is simply not acceptable. All it takes is changing a code from 3915 to 3907. Ten days????
The treatment that my elderly mother received at Arwyp was excellent! Dr de Villiers, Dr Mampane and Dr Horton are brilliant doctors. However, when my mother eventually passed away, legal procedures were not followed and as a result 2 weeks later, my mother's body still can't be cremated. Matron Sandy Brennon has been most unhelpful in this regard. It was the staff at the hospital's mistake and as a result, no dignity is being shown to my late mother or her family.
It took me more than half an hour to get out of your parking yesterday at the Cotton On entrance. Not one if the parking pay stations on level 3, 4 or 5 were working. We tried calling on the machine. No luck! I called management offices twice. I waited over 5 minutes for someone to answer on both occasions. They said they would send someone from parking. At least 25 cars ended up leaving without paying. I felt really sorry for one chap who was on a lunch break and was going to be in trouble for being back at work late. Today I was furious and I have decided to go elsewhere in future.
Discovery (payments dept) got a source code on my tax certificate wrong. They said they would fix it and resubmit my tax certificate which takes 7 - 10 days. I explained that if I don't submit my tax return I won't get my refund and my daughter's place at university will be lost as I can't pay without the refund. They said they would escalate the fix to senior management to get it done quicker. I'm still waiting! I phoned again today and Thabiso told me that still nothing has been done to rectify this. The error is Discovery's fault and now they are not fixing it. 🤬
