Checkers Southgate Mall needs to improve its customer service and ensure that essential products are available. Right now, the experience has been frustrating and unreliable.
I am extremely disappointed with the service at this South Gate Mall branch. Since February, there has been no stock of Waggies Puppy Food 8kg, and despite the ongoing shortage, there have been no updates or follow-ups with customers. This lack of communication and poor stock management shows a disregard for customer needs. Pet owners rely on consistency, and failing to provide such a basic product for months is unacceptable.

"I have been a loyal customer at AYANA for a long time, but my experience at the South Gate Branch yesterday was incredibly disappointing and frankly, insulting. I went in ready to purchase two pairs of shoes, which aren't cheap items, and was told I had to pay an extra R5 for a paper bag to put my purchases in. Charging for a bag when someone is spending hundreds of rands on merchandise is absolutely ridiculous. It feels like a petty money grab and a terrible way to treat customers. It’s not about the R5, it’s about the principle. You don't nickel-and-dime the customers who are keeping your business open. If you are going to implement such a policy, at least have a cheap plastic option or be transparent about it before someone queues up. I will definitely think twice before shopping here again. Sort out your service level."

Hungry Lion JHB Church street shop 4 C/O Church & Harrison Street Jeppestown Johannesburg Gauteng 2094 Erf 5252 The toilets are very dirty which is right next to the Kitchen where food is made for us as customers they do not clean the tables they do not cook with Gloves i think the inspectors must come the place is not managed properly those bathrooms are disgusting where is the management what is going on the place is out of order and unhygienic
