The staff are *********** and rude. After a year of trying to update my details so my medical aid can work normally, this *********** company had me waste hours on hold. Only after completely going of on one of the floor managers they were able to rub some of their braincells together and get it done. I logged several complains about this useless administration logging call after call and when they finally got to calling me about the problem. They demanded information without identifying themselves and then hung up the phone on me when I asked them who they were. I then received an email telling me that I am not cooperating with them.
Should be a ZERO rating as service is something you don't receive at varsity college and sure as the sun will rise one step forward is tumbling down a set of stairs and sets you 20 steps behind. Here is a summary of my experience from varsity college. -My PTA to DBN campus transfer took a month to do, causing me to miss 2 assignments dates. -After applying for concessions for the missed assignments, once i gained acces to my accounts again, they shoved a policy document in my face stating I am in the wrong and should have done my transfer faster. They don't even comply with their own policy as submission links need to be provided at least 2 days prior to you handing in your assignment and I had to log tickets to even get access to my online recourses from vc, and still had no link. -My average dropped from 80% to 50% due to the above. -I have logged several tickets regarding the poor communication from vc with no response. It seams that complaints on Hello Peter gets better and faster responses than their own portal. They made a registration team, ticket system as well as a WhatsApp helpline and still complaints here looks like better assistance. -Registration after first year is a mess and takes over a month to complete, then the documents are still incorrect. They like to take your money but cant hold up their side of the contract. They like to promote themselves as convenient and progressive with everything being online (more like on the line) and you will waste hours on end on their registration page with their helpline on call and still get no results. -They will threaten you with a late registration fee although you cant register due to their system always being down. -Your fuel will cost you the same as your tuition even if you are a part time student as for every problem it seems you have to drive to campus to sort it out. -My contract was changed without my consent and emailed to different student numbers for 2 weeks before reaching me. -I am once again logged out of my account. This has happened 5 times this year already and I still do not have access to my marks as well as time tables for my studies this year. My WhatsApp study group and I from 2 different campuses needs to put our puzzle pieces of information together to understand what is going on and when classes start. -I am not able to change from vc to another institution as the modules are not recognized. -I have taken almost all my leave days as there is never assistance for afterhours studies and I have to drive to them to sort out problems. This is not a short trip as well as when you get there you have to wait for the people to finish their chocolate before offering you their assistance or even making eye contact, that is if there is anyone there. -They do not hold true to the promises of their sales pitch and are so bad with their systems. I have studied at NWU as well as UNISA and both these public institutions function better than vc. -I had to beg and plead to get my proof of registration and the document was still incorrect. This is after a transfer and a renewed contract and having changed my information on their system. I have countless emails and am constantly fighting for proper service from vc. I have paid and done all that I need to do and still the service is a joke. They have a poster that states "more questions than answers", I did not know they meant this literally and that you will ask questions and they will have no answers. This postgrad qualification is almost costing me more per year than my undergrad was for all 3 years. I cant even say the service is lacking as I don't even feel that they offer a service. You have to send so many emails and do so much apart from your studies it is ridiculous. Being one year in and not able to move I am forced to stick with varsity college and fight this constant uphill battle. I conclude that varsity college is not conducive to a healthy teaching environment like a and they will have you stressing yourself into ulcers and emailing like you work there all while squishing the last money out of your bank account. If you were really for the students as your sales pitch sets out and truly are "teaching specialists" then sort yourselves out.
I don't know how many fake profiles needed to be created for this company to receive 4 star average reviews as their service has been shameful. People with actual opinions write a review and don't just put 5 stars and a one word comment. Stop paying people and asking employees to make comments to boost your ratings. I was offered a upgrade option where the consultant made a lot of promises but none of the information that he gave was sent to me and now I am in an ongoing back and forth with all departments of incompetent vodacom and their useless subdivisions rewards Co. I have 5 case numbers none of which can be traced anywhere and even the managers don't know why the numbers are being given as they can't be traced. They miss call me now every morning, outside of their working hours and when I call back I get the robot that tells they only start at 8. I now have to wait for Vodacom to receive the device from Ram, who were also useless in returning the device, before I can move on with my life and get this nonsense sorted. I have used this service a few times and found it lacking every time. I work in sales and most days overtime, so I do not always have time to do cleaning or house c****s. This app does make it convenient to get a cleaner or domestic worker to assist, and I truly think that it can be great. This being said I have dealt with them for the last time. I normally look past the fact that they arrive late and I even offer them coffee and lunch as a thank you for helping. On booking a service they reserve the fee till the cleaning is done. You can also cancel the cleaning before a certain time without being billed. The problem however comes in with them canceling. As my last experience goes they can cancel anytime after the given time and then retain a cancelation fee. I understand that the cancelation fee is security for when you cancel, but what if the cleaner doesn't show, in my case, and the cancelation happens from their side? They retain the cancelation fee and send a ****py email. I have disputed this and they still charged me the fee. I had a person wait at home to receive the cleaner and nothing happened. I disputed the situation and am currently stuck in my word vs their word situation. After they cancelled minutes before the time they still retained the fees. This is organised theft.
SCAM OF A SERVICE!!!! They lure you in with "good deals" only to take hours and not deliver. The company is useless and with service like this do not deserve to exist. Stick to Uber eats and Mr. D delivers when you want good service. Do not fall for this useless scoot nonsense. I tried to contact the driver as well as have a chat with the bot or person they have answering the chatbox on their website after my food was "delivered"; What a worthless bunch of bull****ters. According to them the food was delivered and accepted by myself, all I got was this air, as no-one showed up and those thieves stole my money.
Horrible customer service that led to me paying for an additional 4 odd months. I had a 24month data contract with Vodacom. After the 2 years were up I was still charged on the contract. I contacted them to ask why I am still billed for the contract and they had some fine print story that the contract continues on a month to month basis until I decide to cancel. I then asked them to cancel the contract. I was told that there is a 7 day turnover on these types of issues and I will be receiving a letter of cancellation as soon as the contract was cancelled. Thinking it was over and done with I did not put in extra effort to make sure that they do their jobs and I get the cancellation letter. After the month passed they debited the amount for that contract again. I immediately phoned in to ask how and why. The consultant that I was then dealing with told me that the contract was not yet cancelled and there was no record of any queries being logged on the account. After asking the questions and being sent from one department to the next I excepted their pathetic excuses and asked again for the contract to be cancelled. I then kept an eye out for an email on cancellations from them and after the 7 days, there was still no letter. I again phoned them, spending another hour being sent from one department to the next, and again the account was not cancelled. This time luckily there were 2, out of the 6 tickets I have an SMS for, showing on their system. I asked the consultant to please read what the previous person wrote for the ticket and sure enough, the first ticket stated that the contract must be cancelled, but again it was not. The next ticket, that was logged a week after, also stated a cancellation. I then asked why it is not being cancelled and why I am receiving messages that my account will be debited for both contracts again? the incompetent person from customer service had no idea what is going on in her job and I eventually got her to send me on to the cancellation and retention, there I spoke to another lady that was a bit more helpful. she informed me that the contract has indeed been cancelled and she sent me the cancellation letter. The letter stated early cancellation but at least no further payment was due. I have now received more messages that the account is going to be debited with the amount of both the contracts. I have no idea who else to call or if there is someone that can help with this dispute because phoning the customer helpline is a joke. I will, however, lower the debit amount with my bank to pay only the one contract.
Poor does not begin to describe the useless service I have had. My car was sent in for repairs after an accident. It has been over 2 months that my car has been in. After phoning every day for the last two weeks my car was promised back to me day after day. These people have no regard for your time and waste it as they please.
I have canceled my account on the 5th of December 2017. I spoke to the Manager of the Potchefstroom branch. I still receive monthly statements and bills. I went into the branch to find out more about my statements that were incorrectly charged. I have previously changed my account from the 10mb/s uncapped line to the 4mb/s line. When the statement came it was more than the initial amount. (the 10mb line is R799. the 4mb line is R599. my bill was more than R800) I went in to inquire about this amount. I first spoke to a man that was very incompetent and did not help at all. He explained that he cant and I should phone in. I phoned the helpline and was chased from accounts to sales and back to accounts. Nobody could help me. I then went back to the rude man and told him I would like to log a complaint. After an argument, he did so. He informed me that someone would phone me in the next week and sort it out. Nobody ever phoned me. A week later I went back to the shop and spoke to the manager. I explained my story to him and asked to cancel my account with Telkom. He logged my complaint and also said that someone will call me. Nobody ever did. It has been 2 months now since I logged my last complaint and canceled my contract. Today I received a statement charging me for the last 2 months (none of the previous disputes were subtracted either). My account is apparently not canceled. None of my cases were ever attended to.
