Still waiting on my order that was placed on the 5th. If I knew what a mission it is to shop with Makro online, I would never have done it. They use 3rd party suppliers and market it on the website but have no control over the sale. After calling 5 times, I hear the same thing, it will be escalated and they have no feedback from the supplier. Why use other suppliers when you cannot fulfill the order and have no control over it.
After waiting for over an hour for our order, we queried our order and only to be told the order was cancelled. When phoning the support, we were forced to pay 50% of the order which was not delivered. This was even after the support confirmed the driver was at the wrong address. I guess that is how they become profitable. Absolutely disgusting daylight *******. These are the real ********s of our country.
I tried the KFC app for the first time for delivery. Delivery came within the hour BUT the order was short. I called and queried a few times before the manager of the Phoenix plaza KFC advised he will send my order shortly. 6 hours later, I call back and the Nightshift manager says they have no drivers and will send me order the next day. So I said don't bother, just refund me and he agreed. 3 days later still no refund but a call centre agent calls me and says she will send me a voucher, I agreed. 3 days after that I get an SMS for a R50 voucher. Daylight robbery, all that wasted airtime and energy to be sent a R50 voucher a week later when the burger alone costs me R60. I will definitely not be using the KFC delivery option again.
It has been 3 days since logging a ticket for a simple service to be enabled for my website. My website has been down for 3 days and the request has still not been actioned. The response via email is "PLEASE HOLD ON". No matter how many calls or emails, nothing seems to be done to assist. All I have been told that it has been escalated for the server admin and there is nothing that can be done but surely it doesn't take a server admin 3 days to copy a 1MB file! Really poor service! I would never recommend their services to anyone.
After 2 years of trying to get a hold of someone from the eHome Affairs department, after fully paying for my ID renewal and passport for both my wife and myself, I get an email saying "after multiple letters to contact me my application has been cancelled and no refunds will be made". LMAO...Our government departments are a joke. I can only laugh about being robbed in daylight by legal thieves. I have not received a single email, let alone a letter or an SMS to even confirm my application. The eHome Affairs website just went offline and has been inaccessible since March 2020. After taking my money and capturing all my details, they could not be contacted anymore and now apparently they have been trying to contact me. Still living in the same address for 25 years, still got the same cell number and email address for the last 10 years. I am not sure how they have been trying to contact me. If they have any other contact details for me, that would reflect the incompetence of these people working in these departments. Fat salaries for fat cats that can't catch a mouse.
3 days ago I placed an order online from Romans Pizza Phoenix Plaza. I punched in my delivery address, they accepted my order and took my money. I got a call a couple of minutes later from a guy named Adam. Not sure if he was the manager but sounded more like a driver from his inability to speak properly, he advised that because I am in Verulam, they cannot deliver to me. So I asked him, why did the online form accept my order if they didn't deliver within my radius and just kept saying they do not deliver to me. I am pretty sure they do because a few friends in my neighbourhood has ordered from the same store successfully. I am not sure if this was a lazy driver or clueless manager but he advised he will transfer the money back into my account. It has been 3 days now, no sign of any pizza or my money back which was probably pocketed by this guy Adam. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am sure I wont be supporting Romans Pizza anytime soon.
Almost 4 months into a supposedly "planned" upgrade on our POS systems at our stores, almost a 100k cash invested, hours of meetings with an irate management and yet we are still at Point A. No benefits to the upgrade, no absolute reason for spending all that time and money. In fact, it has cost us more trying to train staff and waste more hours on rectifying issues that should have been resolved by Omni Accounts support staff. We were promised and obviously cheated in what they can offer. I am stuck with trying to fix their mess up and to add to that, apparently we now purchased the incorrect licenses(which they chose and advised upon) and are forced to purchase more licenses to fix up their mess. We have no way out of this and we are held to ransom and the only way forward is either giving in to their demands for more money to fix their issues or s**** their systems and start from scratch with a trustworthy company.
I am sure I am not the only one with this issue but for sure Telkom data usage tracking is either incorrect or they are intentionally robbing their clients. I have a few friends and work colleagues that say the same. I put it to the test after querying it with their support. I checked my available data which was 3GB anytime data, I downloaded a 700MB file but before the file could complete it stopped, I checked my balance and I had 32kb left which basically means that my data was depleted. Which is impossible, my device was the only device on the network and is always on the only device on the network, furthermore the 700MB file that I was downloading was from a known local source that I setup for a test. Their deals are enticing and good but now we know why. They never intend on giving you the full value that is promised and I am sure if I do a survey report with other Telkom users, their response would be the same and we all stuck in these contracts helplessly.
Simple porting of my prepaid number has turned into a nightmare, nobody at Telkom even remotely understands or even knows the process. I have been on the phone at least 15 times, been to the store at least 5 times but no way closer to sorting out my problem. It has been over a week and definitely was a mistake on my part to even consider that Telkom support isn't still rubbish. I think I should just give up and cancel this contract instead of leaving it until after the cooling off period.
I guess it was a mistake to think that Telkom is not useless anymore. Untrained staff, pathetic call centre(That's if you can get through) and super slow. I decided to take out a new contract with them so I went into the store, apparently the deal that is advertised is over or they didn't have stock. So I decided to take a deal online with them, the representative called me back 3 days later, went over the same information that I submitted online but only stipulation was that I need to port my prepaid number and use that for the contract, she happily advised me once they take the initial debit(Which they were quick to do), I just needed to call the call centre(Which is useless) and they will sort the porting for me, SIMPLE RIGHT? NO!!! After they took my money and me trying to call them for 3 days straight with no response, apparently for 3 days straight their sales phones were offline and there were high call volumes, the lady I eventually got through to says that I cannot port my number. She then says I need to go to a store which I did at least 5 times before to get a deal, it is all back and forth with them. I decided and requested her to cancel the contract and refund my money, she then advises me that I will be penalized for them misleading me and their ignorant and useless support. They are quick to take your money but are useless when it comes to service. At least 45 minute waits before you can speak to anyone whom will probably be the wrong person to speak to anyways. Days before anyone responds to calls or messages. Absolutely pathetic and useless... I would probably get a response from this review next week sometime, if lucky.
