Absolutely next level service. Ordered several plugs and switches online, in the afternoon, and all delivered before midday the next day. Realised I had made a mistake with the one switch type and all resolved through their Chat service online, thanks to a phenomenally efficient Zanele. Truly impressed. Well done!
This is not CheckersSixty60, Takealot or even Temu. Do NOT be suckered, do NOT buy on-line. Try phoning their offices. If miraculously you can get through then maybe consider. Tomorrow is 4 weeks since clicked and paid for a solar pump that was NOT on pre-order. Meaning it should have been installed within 5-7 days according to website and automated emails. Needless to say it was not. No calling or emails was able to elicit a response. On a HelloPeter complaint was advised that their supplier had delays which I was not ever advised on before. Now although unit delivered, still NOT fully installed. Installers left on 23rd December with pool jets at bottom of pool, old heat pump unceremoniously dumped in middle of lawn, pool switched off, no instructions and later discovered when having to restart greening pool that plastic was in basket by filter. Still cannot get through to them. Absolute nightmare!
Response time from booking the claim on the Discovery app to Autoboys calling to schedule was fantastic, literally less than 2 hours. Received regular calls and sms's regarding the booking which was appreciated. The team did unfortunately arrive with the incorrect windscreen but this was resolved with them returning the same afternoon to complete the fitment.
Purchased unit online, on 3rd December, that was NOT listed as pre-order. Now zero feedback, impossible to contact on phone, don't answer emails and no idea when or if will ever receive the unit. Save yourself heart ache and tears. DO NOT BUY ONLINE from AC DIRECT.
Service is Triple A, namely Atrocious, Abysmal and Abominable! Placed an online order and a few days later get mail advising that it is completed. Product just never arrives. No tracking number or details of courier service. Called warehouse multiple times, always promise to call back and never do. Still without product that has been paid for.
I just received a call from one of their consultants, Eloise Swart, claiming that a financial institution, that I am affiliated to, has opened an account on the JSE indirectly on my behalf. This all sounds extremely suspicious as she could not or would not divulge the details of the company that opened the account on my behalf. She claims it is not illegal for such accounts to be opened on my behalf, without my knowledge - sounds dubious.
Must say that I have used Takealot extensively in the last few months and can say that their service is nothing short of fantastic. Proactive notifications of delivery and even collections has left me extremely impressed. Will definitely keep doing business with you guys. Well done and keep it up.
They did an "upgrade" yesterday on the fibre yesterday. Insisted that they needed access urgently which was given. Everything worked before they got involved and now the service is down with no feedback. Left without checking that system was operational. Several homes affected. Would advise to avoid them like the plague. Obviously a company that is lacking competence and expertise. Would say they are not accountable but I cannot even get hold of them. Would advise to avoid them like the plague.
Service absolutely abysmal. Do upgrades which result in extended downtime, extremely long hold times to call centres, only to be cut off. They can see that system is down but do not contact users and never bother to call back. Internet logged enquiries are not answered. Ever since Smart Village taken over by MTN and rebranding to Supersonic the wheels have come off.
I went on Saturday and bought a 75 inch Samsung TV. No only did I have to wait around for more than an hour because their system was down to confirm my TV licence but I expressed how urgently I needed the TV delivered. As they could not do Saturday we agreed Sunday. On Sunday I got a call to confirm delivery between 11am and 12pm. At 4pm the TV has not arrived and I have had to cancel my plans for the day waiting for the delivery. Absolutely abysmal service and no feedback at all.
