To whom it may concern I drive VW T-Cross, It is insured with ABSA Idirect Insurance. My car was involved in an accident on the 14 July 2024. I called Absa Idirect Insurance on the scene to report an accident but I didn’t get hold of them I decided to drive slowly to the police station and open a case, then I drove and parked the car at home. I called the Insurance again on the 15 July 2024 to report the damages I have noticed which are as follows: fender, bumper, head light on the right, fog light on the right, griller and also displayed errors on the screen. On the 16 July 2024 they called me back and said they will send the inspectors to inspect the car. On the 17 July 2024 the insurance sent Auto Legend to come and fetch the car, Later I saw the messages from the insurance asking me to send pictures to them, but the car was taken already when I saw the messages. When the car was done they called me for collection. When I arrived, they showed me the car and asked if I’m satisfied, they then gave me a paper to sign and I signed due to being satisfied. Then on my way to work from collecting the car I tried increasing the volume on the button so that I may be able to listen to the live radio, the volume bars were increasing on the screen display but no sound came out at all even when I connected the Bluetooth to my phone the sound still didn’t come out at all. I then called Auto Legend to report the issue at hand, but the lady who I was on call with said she was going to check on her system if there was something to do with the radio on their system, when she called me back she said they had nothing to do with a radio on their side and said I must take my vehicle to VW Bellville, because I’m located nearby VW Bellville. I then took my car to VW and asked the guy at VW to come and see the car inside, he then saw EPC on the screen display and said it shouldn’t have this display and he said they will charge me to diagnose the car the I called the lady and reported that to Auto Legend, and I said I will report this to my insurance. The lady said I must bring my car to them because they also have the equipment needed to check my vehicle so they will do it and I mustn’t tell the insurance said they will check it. They then said I must take the car back to them, I then did that but they were unable to check it. They said the car will be fixed and they’ll pay for it. They took it to VW Claremont, when the vehicle was back on a tow truck I tested it but it was still the same with no sound. I called them and they called VW Claremont and they also asked me to give them a call. I then explained to them my issue. They said I must bring the car back to them, when they were done with the car they couldn’t fix the problem. I ended up calling my insurance and reported the matter but the first person who answered my call said it’s a new claim and I said I will get back to them. When I called ABSA insurance for the second time, the lady said they will follow it up within 48 hours, after 48 hours there was no response, I called them for the third time, the guy answered the phone and said the complaint was not lodged but he lodge the complaint and he gave me the reference number and said they will investigate I also explained that my vehicle before the accident was fine. I then received an email from my insurance ABSA saying that they will procced to closing the complaint because they referred the matter to VW Claremont which they confirmed that there is an issue with the radio, being the ECU not warming up, which will be on your own account. And they said it’s not workmanship. I drove to Eastern Cape and on my way back water was leaking from the radiator and I also reported this to my insurance. I ended up fixing my vehicle out of my own money. Can you please help me with this, I didn’t know where to get help because I thought when my car is covered if these things happen the car will be covered. I was tired of going up and down and I spent lot of money to fix the problem .Can you please help me with the solution for this, where was I supposed to go and claim this? Ms. N. QWALANE
Two Uber eats Drivers today stole my food, different orders and reported it as delivered. I managed to catch up to the second one but he **** to me and said he left it with the lady but several witnesses say these ****ers keep doing this everytime and ***** the food and lie about it I'm leaving Uber eats for good.
I am extremely aggrieved with the appalling lack of service from this so called learning institution. Since paying the required deposit of which they harassed me to pay, there's been no further action on their part to register me. This is the first time I've ever so exasperated to such an extent that I feel so powerless, if they can't register please refund me my money and cancel the application. Dstv acc 26857613 ref 91644469 matter of funds mistakenly paid into wrong acc 140719264 still not corrected after 8 days of sending through all the required documentation, appalling. This is extremely ridiculous,the amount of airtime and data i have wasted trying to resolve this matter is mind boggling.
I haven't used this account in a long time due to unemployment and now that I have been employed again by my former employer I find my account in massive debt due to monthly account fees.
