On Thursday 23rd May my son was bitten by a Black Mamba. A Medic phoned them for an ambulance. They got to my son Warren 30min after snake bite. Medic had put a drip on my son. They put him into the ambulance. Off they went. On the way to Nooksi Albert Luthuli Hospital they stopped and started to ask my son questions about getting through the security at the hospital ER. Instead of taking max 15min to get there it took 30min. This was very unprofessional. SNAKE BITE NEED IMEDIATE ANTIVENOM. MY SON COULD HAVE DIED. On Sunday my so spoke to someone high up. No explanation was give for there badly trained staff. I will never every recommend this ambulance service never mind there high charge of R2250 for a max of 15 Kilometres trip.to hospital
On Thursday 23rd May my son Warren was bitten by a Black Mamba. His friend notified the Hospital of his injury. Upon arrival the Doctors where by the ER door & immediately gave him 10 vilest of antivenom. As his neck started swelling they knocked him out & put him on a ventilator. They later moved him to Trauma ICU. The next morning ventilator was removed & he was awake. He was discharged on Saturday Morning. There quick response etc saved my sons life.
On Friday 24th November 2023 my son went on line to www.game.co.za & at 00:41 got through and filled in to but an air conditioner at R4999. He paid with credit card. Got OTP from bank and completed the transaction. Sunday 26th November 2023 he gets a message from Game. Refund pending for R4999. To be processed In a few days. No explanation why etc. My son phoned Game on Monday 27th November 2023 and complained about the poor service & lack of explanation. The person he spoke to said they would investigate & come back to him. Today Tuesday 28th November2023 at 13:30 still no reply from Game. Is this the way they treat there Black Friday customers? No Good enough.
They don't deserve a star. Yesterday 12pm my power went off. The electricity dept was worlimg on a pole further down the street. My son ask them about or outage. There reply: " have you reported it".After numerous attempts to phone with the phone being pickup & put down my son when on to "My Smart City". A ref number was duly sent. Today my son eventually got through on thr phone to the department with the ref number & got told it has not been logged..the only way to log a fault is by phone which they keep not answering.. Really pathetic. Now no power for nearly 24hrs. Petrol expensive. Been running generator to keep fridges & freezer going. Don't know when or power is coming back. 18months ago power off. Cable 1m underground nd near pole broken. They repaired the cable and left my very old meter/ db board in bad state.they never came to repair the damage there electrician caused.
Google Makro to check for products. You go on line.For example "oven & hob" The search gives you over 500 products to go through. Most of them are not anything like you are looking for.. years ago there search engine was better than today. I complained via e-mail last week.next day got standard reply. " we will get back to you". This is not the first time I have complained about this very poor search engine. I don't have time to go through over 500 items to get to what I want. No wander people have stopped shopping at Makro, Game & Builders.
Kia on fire on the Bluff in Grenville Rd. Phoned fire emergency no. It took 30min for a fire engine to respond from Jacobs Fire station. The fire engine should have been here sooner. I can get from the fire station in Edwin Swales Drive to this house by car in 5minutes. Why did it take so long. They have fire fights at the station 24/7. In the meanwhile a gas bottle explode which could have caught the house on fire.
Friday 11th February after 17:30. The chicken was so Salty and was almost unbeatable and over cooked & dry. Chips where old. This is the first time we have been back in a long time & nothing has changed. Finland, Bluff, Durban branch. Never again.
Book return flights to O.R.Tambo airport online for 10 November. On 9 November booked both boarding passes on line and was instructed what to do. They even supplied health forms. Flights where on time and we had no problems at the airport.
Tried to telephone hospital to check on a patient in ICU and no one answer the phone. Eventually telkom comes on line. Not good enough. This man is in critical condition. We took him to the hospital yesterday. Still can't get through.
As a tall person and having a short wife, I would like to know from Clotihing retailers why is extra small & small sizes on the highest point on the shelfs and extra, extra large sizes as close to the floor as possible? Tall people have to bend down. Short people need a ladder. Complaining to shops doesn't help.
