Bought a George & Mason 4 in 1 walker jumper etc, the instructions leaflet clearly shows 6 wheels so does the product list on that leaflet, contacted takealot and told them of this, they took over a week to get back to me to say that the product details on their product page says 4 wheels only also under the product it has space for 2 more wheels, what an absolute disappointment and I paid R1000 for this, spent 1000s on takealot, other customers have expressed the same in the reviews for the product as well!
The service was OK when I was using this the only thing is that once you forget and they charge you when you cancel it doesn't really cancel as you are in the new month period to use it. I haven't used it. Spoken to multiple Associates from chegg.com on their chat and they say they cannot cancel and it will continue pinging my bank card due to insufficient funds till they get their funds. Now every ping my bank has charged me R3 and there has been about 20 so far. My bank cannot reverse it as it is not a debit order but rather a recurring card purchase. My only and next step if this continues is to go cancel my card and get a new card and never use chegg.com ever again. Their support os totally useless and this is absolutely wrong. They should be able to cancel it indefinitely and check if you haven't used the subscription and refund if you have been charged.
Purchased 2 second hand 14 inch tyres from this shop. The other looked just like the 1 in the picture. If you want to die or put your family at risk this is the place you would visit for 2nd hand tyres. Met the owner Elijah today and he refused to give me a refund on the 1 tyre here pictured. I am furious as this is the 2nd time I am here to sort out 1 of the 2 tyres I purchased from him. The 1st tyre that he refunded me on I was offdered 3 other 2nd hand tyres of the same condition just like the one pictured. To you Elijah do not even try contacting me to resolve this as I have given you ample opportunity to do so!.
Horrific experience from Roxanne who apparently is the manager and the administrator staff. Roxanne plays as if she doesn't understand English when I asked her multiple times for a higher person in charge. They had my oppo a74 for 2 months, after a few days of 1st leaving it there the only thing wrong was a front cracked screen and nothing else. The phone was in a pristine condition, was charged R1749 or so just for that. Went to pickup the phone the back cover was scratched and payed everywhere. I made a huge fuss as this is a lot of money. They then took over 1 and a half months to have a new back cover and glass shipped during this time Roxanne ignores your calls and whatsapps. What a shocking experience from a vodacare repair center, I struggle to realizse how this business still operates and has any customers. Will not even trust them with a Nokia 3310! This place will rob you and pull the wool over your eyes. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THEM!!!
This company needs to be charged and any fsp license revoked!! Same issue as the rest of the reviews here, they had my ID number and I told the agent if they are charging me interest on an account I'm not aware of tell me what accounts they are and name them. The agent then proceeds to do a credit check to read my credit profile which I gave no authority of!!! ****mers!!!
Extremely poor service from momentum, I supported them for a good few years and so did my company. Who are really massive. All our provident funds are with them, I was dismissed end of October 2024 and did my application for all my benefits in November some time. So I am currently still waiting for my payout because the administrator that was working with my case went on leave during the December period. Sounds quite professional right? Plot thickens, It it now February and I now have no money to survive thanks Momentum! And a special thanks to the administrator ***meeda (hope I spelt that right) Anele Tofile.
Walked in clicks gateway branch in durban. Just needed one or 2 items. Was in a hell of a lot of pain so needed some pain meds for my back. Walked in spoke to dispensary and the guy advised to use the other line on the exit side of the main cashier tills. Went there and waited. The assistant manager and she knows who she is calls the lady standing behind me of a different color than me but obviously the same color as her (the cashier assistant manager). Totally ignores me that I am 1st in the line, the customer also gives me mouth on top of their ****** filthy behavior! I go to the store manager and Indian lady who then takes me to the front and because I'm in such a rage I forgot the ****** cashier assistant manager for a moment. So the store manager asks the same cashier who was at the till where I had the problem and she blatantly ignores me and plays dumb and says she does not know. I'm appaled at you clicks for this filthy ****** behavior! I can't believe us Indians are living in a reverse apartheid and am quite frankly tired of this now!
If you want to experience food poisoning here is your place. We arrived here and the restaurant was almost empty. We then had a waiter who for some reason could not remember anything at all, I had to ask 4 times for a glass for water. Further than that the seafood came with an extra pungent smell than usual, anyways we dug in. Knowing my wife is pregnant I noted to the waiter to cook the seafood fully till steaming hot as that will be deemed safe for a pregnant individual. Asked for butter was told there is no butter, called the manager he brought the butter. During our stay at the restaurant my wife was complaining of itching literally 10 mins after eating the seafood. This was absolutely ********** service. My review took this long to write even though we ate there so many months ago because I was working on suing this restaurant but just don't have the time to do so. Back to our experience the next day had to take my wife to the dr, that did not work then the following day to the hospital as per gynecologist orders as blood test confirmed of food poisoning and a risk to our unborn baby. So ask yourself will you risk your life or a loved ones here?
I write this review to you while I am on the line with superbalist customer service. I spoke to the agent and told him my curtain packaging all is covered with soot and have a few gashes here and there. The curtains inside the packaging for the most part seem fine. But I did pay for brand new curtains not something from an auction or salvage from a business that was burnt down and when you see the images you will see what I am talking about. Paid almost R3000 for salvage stock and horrific terrible service, they just cut the damn call on me. Don't waste your money here on THEIVES!!!
Trust me when I say I will continue to give my most negative feedback on takealot till my issue is resolved! I have tried multiple times contacting you via call and the agents either put the phone down or have no skills whatsoever to assist me with the multiple issues your seller has presented me with. I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS HORRIFIC SERVICE FROM YOU! I spend a lot of money monthly with you guys and this is how I am treated??? Furthermore this has costed me my time which is invaluable and around about R100 airtime for something that is not my fault!.
