I played on playtsogo I had a balance of R900 and something withdrew R700. 4 days have passed I never received the money. I sent countless emails no one was willing to assist. Instead they kept saying I need to send FICA. I sent them repeatedly still nothing.
I have a life policy with AllLife. Today I was changing my banking details and I was happy to discover that I will get R50 back as free airtime for each premium paid. I have just collected the Sim card from the clicks store.
On the 14th of February 2025, I took a ride to work through in-drive. The fair was R25. The driver did not have change for a R100 because I was rushing to a meeting at work, he requested to drop me off at work then go look for change around the corner at the taxi rank. He took my number I took his. At around 11 o'clock he called and said he had to rush to another client and will drop off the change later. I had no problem because I was still at work. In the evening seeing that he did not show up I called to remind him, he promised to bring it over the next day. Since then it was promises after the next. At some point he was not taking my calls, I opted to send him smses and whatsapp message. I reported the matter to the support personnel at in-drive who were also not helpful and never held the driver accountable. I still can't believe what happened.
I rented a vehicle with Avis on month to month basis effective 17 0ct up to 20 Dec 2024. I ended the lease on the 20th December 2024 and returned the vehicle same day. I received credit invoice of how much I will be getting back from my rental deposit. Today is the 6th of January 2025 I have not received a cent of that money. I called Avis customer care they said I must wait 10 working days, I did that but still nothing I called my bank, the bank said that can't release them held funds without an authorisation letter from the merchant. I am so disappointed I thought Avis was a reliable rental company with effective systems in place.
I had booking for 15-19 April 2024 made by the company I work for via an agent. On the day I was supposed to check in at around 11h00. the hotel called to tell me they have a problem with their rooms and I was going to be sleeping in another hotel in town, which i had slept at before. I refused because I had my reasons for not booking in that alternative hotel in the first place. So they chose another, I was so ****ed but I agreed. The arrangement was that the kitchen would call me everyday to make my order for the meals(Breakfast & Dinner) and they were going to be delivered to where I was staying. The breakfast was delivered late in such a way that one of the days i did not have it at all, I had to constantly call to remind them to deliver my meals it was annoying. I did not get neither a refund for the breakfast i did not receive or even an apology would have been nice. No one from management even bothered to apologized for the inconvenience. When I arrived to check in the supervisor was there but she did not even come to me and explain what happened. Only to find out that they took a larger/group booking and there was no room left for me. the issue with the room was all a lie.
I had a booking for a week, I must say the location and the building are perfect. But on day 2 we couldn't sleep because of the siren sounding noise that started ringing around 23h30 till 03h00 in the morning, that how I discovered the hotel reception closes at 18h00 and that there is no one at reception for the rest of the night. There is no visible security at night. If you arrive after hours the gate opens and you enter no questions asked. For 2 days I had to go with wrinkled clothes because each time i would request the iron I was told to wait until i was late. There is no bar fridge in the room, If you request one you are told it is given to patrons who are taking medication that requires refrigerating. There are ****roaches and some other insects inside the rooms, the balcony area is full of leaves. The soap and shampoo is not replace on daily basis and so is the tea in the room. The food is bad. For the omelette you only get ham, onions and cheese. And the onion is boiled before hand it tastes like it was cooked days ago. I asked for mushrooms for my omelette and I was to they do not serve them. There is no fresh pot of tea at breakfast, they provide the same tea sachets that are in the rooms. Pardon me for the novel review, But I must say the overall service I obtained is not what I had expected from hotel establishment, I have been to Lodges which provide way better service.
I am seating outside the Lodge in front of the gate. The time I now 14h07. I have been here for the past hour and 12 minutes. The gate is locked, no one is picking up the phone, I have rang the intercom repeatedly without any response. I have concluded that there is no one inside.But as I am seating here, ****ed as hell. I can't stop to wonder if I would ever be able to gain access before midnight. I have been here since Monday, my booking is from Mon to Thursday and I have paid the total amount in advance. I have never heard of a Lodge that is left unattended whilst having guests. This has ruined my day.
Poor service, the room phones are faulty, Breakfast not up to standard, complaints go unattended and some of the staff is disrespectful.For an example, We had a booking for 19,20 the Lady who was working the nightshift at reception on 20 Aug 2022 at 21h00 she was very disrespectful when we made a complaint about the TV and the phones not working. The guy working with her intervened and came to the room to sort out our complaints after so much hassle though. NB we had made the same complaints day before. I just wish they had a manual of services because the one we read did not assist.
If you want antique everything and terrible food definately visit Ladysmith's Royal Hotel. Terrible hotel Service. The Hotel is rated a 4 star but the service is poor than that of a terrible BnB. I sent a formal complain to the Hotel Manager about the food and the non provision of cleaner towels. He sent me an email in which he was very sarcastic and defensive on his response. And by the way non-of my grievances were attended to especially the towels issue. The manager is not the we are so sorry how best can we serve you mam. After paying R1 440.00 per night i expected better. Lastly no visitors are allowed not even if you have a medical emergency. I had to make a request when i required insuilin. Although my visitor did not arrive. The hotel manager did not fail to mention that in his sarcastic response. I could write a novel. About the old serving dishes in the so called buffet with no variety. What you see is what you eat. I have never heard of a hotel which does not serve mushrooms for breakfast not even on request. I was forced to accept a terrible tasting omelette made from funny smelling cooking oil. The cutlery was all over the tables with no regard for hygiene let alone COVID19.
For my sister's birthday celebration on Saturday, we had a lunch booking at Mike's kitchen in Salt Rock (Ballito). The service was terrible. The food took ages and it was not done according to spec. We ate in the dark because of load shedding (I couldn't believe that a franchise that big did not have a working back up generator) The waitress was rude (Amanda Mhlongo). Any way the manager CJ offered us a discount on our bill, hence the challenges above. Amanda just wouldn't accept that, she wanted us to pay the whole thing. The girl just does not know her place. She spoke to us anyway she wanted up to a point where she told us to our faces that they are running a busines
