Wow, Checkers. Just… wow. Who knew buying chicken could be such an adrenaline rush? Over the past five months, I’ve been treated to a smorgasbord of surprises: chicken so ****** I considered calling a doctor, pieces so rotten they could host their own science experiment, and today… a hidden bone in my fillet that nearly took out my gums. Truly, a Michelin-star level thrill. I must say, your “quality control” team is incredibly consistent....consistently letting us down. Forget fine dining, your chicken provides suspense, risk, and adventure all in one convenient package. I especially love the part where I get to throw away my money and potentially injure myself. Such innovation. Bravo, Checkers. If your goal was to turn a simple dinner into a heart-stopping experience, congratulations, you’ve nailed it. Can’t wait for my next gamble. Maybe next time I’ll order a full body helmet with my fillets.
My husband purchased a bakkie from Infinite Auto Gezina nearly two years ago, and from the very beginning it has been plagued with serious issues that remain unresolved to this day - which Infinite Auto is aware of. Initially, Infinite Auto sent the bakkie to a workshop where the workmanship was shockingly poor and some of the plugs, sensors and pipes were switched. During 2024, the vehicle was in our possession for no more than two to three months – the rest of the time it was stuck at that workshop. After countless complaints, and only after we considered legal action and almost reporting the matter to the NCC, CPA, CGSO, and MIOSA, the dealership eventually agreed to send the bakkie to a different workshop. When we finally received the vehicle back (in 2025), it had visible damage, including scratches, and no one at Infinite Auto accepted responsibility. The cycle then repeated itself: the bakkie was shuttled back and forth for months between us, the dealership, and the workshop, yet the problems remain unresolved. To make matters worse, we purchased an extended warranty. Infinite Auto has refused either to reimburse us or to extend the warranty period, despite the fact that we could not use the vehicle for more than a year. As a result, we lost out on the benefits of the warranty and were forced to pay out of pocket for alternative transport, with zero assistance from the dealership. Absolutely absurd! Whenever we raised concerns, Infinite Auto simply ignored us – like the proverbial “three blind mice.” This dealership has shown a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for its customers. For your own safety and financial wellbeing: do not do business with Infinite Auto Gezina.
I'm absolutely appalled by the level of service and quality of checkers lately. Besides the continued rotten meat and low quality of fresh produce, the fact that all products and their alternatives were not available is now having an impact on the specials. For example, buy 3 for the price of 2 which is very nice, however, now 2 of the 3 is not available which ultimately make the product more expensive. I wouldn't have purchased the product alone, but on special yes, but now you are left with no stock and no alternatives? Help me understand how on earth it makes sense? Implement a rule or something that should one of the items ons special (and their alternatives) not be available, that you cannot purchase the special at all.
I've complained, called, sent more than 10 emails regarding ABSA's gross negligence and dishonest conduct on our policy. We haven't received any feedback to date - it been over 4 months now. Just correct your damn error on our policy - it doesn't require a Degree, Masters or PhD to enter information correctly. Shame man. What more should I do? Get in my car, drive over there and correct the information on our policy myself?
Do not insure your home with ABSA - the absolute worst insurance company! Claim declined by ABSA for water damage to laminate flooring after ABSA's own Consultants/ Representatives confirmed that they do cover water damage to laminate flooring. Alas, I argued with ABSA that the damage caused to the laminate flooring was because of water. A "specialist case manager" was assigned. Unfortunately the case manager cannot provide any feedback/ help regarding the declined claim. This week will be a full month without any feedback. I need to CONSTANTLY ASK, if not beg, for feedback from the so called "specialist case manager". Please assist as this is totally unacceptable.
I must say, we've always preferred ABSA as our sole insurance provider however, the past year we've experienced horrific service. That's exactly why we moved EVERYTHING from ABSA except our building insurance. I phone ABSA and asked if they cover laminate flooring damaged by accidental water damage, YOUR REPRESENTATIVE CONFIRMED that they definitely cover water damage caused by an accident. This morning (after x2 weeks) the internal assessor said that ABSA do not cover the floor - claim rejected. Along with a separate claim lodged x3 weeks ago... we are still waiting for ABSA to send an assessor. Useless. What is the point of having building insurance? On-top of it all, I saw that ABSA did not correct CRITICAL INFORMATION on our policy which we noted and duly informed ABSA of the error along with our attorneys, which I just saw you DID NOT CORRECT PRIOR TO THE PROPERTY TRANSFER. It is absolutely unacceptable. There is no excuse for GROSS DISHONEST NEGLIGENCE!! Absolutely **********.

My FNB loan was settled 3 weeks ago. FNB acknowledged that all accounts have been settled. I'm still waiting for a paid-up letter with no response. After several emails and a "promise" that it will only take 5-7 business working days I am still struggling. NO COMMUNICATION, NO RESPONSE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER. FNB is by far the worst bank ever. Worst service I've ever experienced.
