4 months ago I purchased a VOIP phone for my boss at his home business, as Telkom is cancelling all lines soon. To date we have not had anyone helping us with getting connected, even though we pay R69 a month, month after month. We, as old folk, are required to do the connection ourselves via the internet and OTP numbers to our phone. I can't navigate this. I'm not 21 anymore. They won't help me. My boss is 82 and also is frustrated. I've tried. This new technology is too much for us to navigate. They don't send anyone to help. It's a fabulous money-making business where they don't even have technicians to come out to assist. I want my R1,650.00 back again for the useless VOIP phone I purchased, gathering dust on my desk.
Be careful when doing business with this company. We went to repair their enormous generator where 7 other mechanics couldn't get it started. We got it started but there were other problems with it and we told the guy. Frans didn't want to spent more money on it, so we left after at least getting it running. We warned him it needed extensive work on the engine. In any event, he didn't let the two Directors know what was going on, so they never signed off on our invoice, and he **** over and over again why we weren't getting paid. So we are out of pocket R3,500.00 after muntiple trips there and back, our diesel and time. Don't trust these people to pay your bills unless the two Directors are involved!!! And don't try to run a business with inferior machinery you don't want to spend money on to keep it running optimally. A generator that size can cost tens of thousands of Rands to repair!

I cannot get anybody from the Vehicle Repossessions Department to assist me with a bakkie we were repairing, and which the bank repossessed from our customer. After everything was done with the assessor, and our invoice was sent to the bank, they decided it wasn't economical to repair and are s****ping and deregistering the vehicle. My question is simple: What happens to this s****ped vehicle now, that is taking up space on my property? Who pays my bill? Is this vehicle now mine to do with as I please? Nobody can answer me that question. Nobody. Not even the department who is dealing with this vehicle. It is not going to be removed from my property without my payment, but if it's s****ped, what happens to it now?
We phoned in towards end of March 2022 to pay for streaming only and were charged accordingly. Then some person on their side decided to charge us for the PVR and streaming, making my bill over R1,500.00 a month! They cannot understand we don't have a PVR machine anymore, ONLY STREAMING! But the debit orders keep on coming off and you cannot stop them. They now owe me refund after refund. These people can't understand I only want streaming, as I don't have the DSTV machine anymore!
My order no. is DH6842 with Deal Hub. Reliable Store also updates me on my order, as they work in tandem I believe. I had no idea Deal Hub takes your money and then orders the things from China. I thought it was SA based, otherwise I would not have ordered as I know how long it takes to get from China. It's been 4 days short of a month and still it's only left China now and something about other delays. I'm not happy. I would like Deal Hub to confirm I am going to receive my order, or please refund me my money.
My bad experience with debiting money from my account in error, was recorded before last week, but still I have not been contacted by billing at Supersonic, even though the response to my complaint was responded to on Hello Peter. I wish to ask Supersonic to check up on my Account No. S0122883, as to when my debited amount of R931.30 on INV0488347 is being put back into my account. I am asking on this forum because once again emails to accounts at Supersonic go unanswered. Always. Thanks, Cobus.
We are a struggling mechanical workshop. We trusted Cargo Crankshaft Rebuilders to do engineering on 5 heads/cranks we gave them. Rubbish work. Three of the jobs had to be redone. They told us they could repair a crankshaft on a BMW, charged us a fortune, it wasn't fixed, cost us R14,000 to redo the engine rebuild, then the crankshaft had to be replaced at a further R13,000 cost to our company after they told us to go "eff" ourselves. No accountability. We are now being sued by our customer and probably going out of business. We've lost over R30,000 on this job. Their work is terribly shoddy. Will never use them ever again. I don't think their workers give a sh*t about doing their work properly. Get paid, go home at the end of the day mentality.
Going for my usual breakfast at McDonalds in Brentwood Park, Benoni, the prices stated were not what was charged. "Prices have gone up," I was told. That's rubbish. There was no sign to say so. They cannot show a pricing structure with pictures of the various foods, and then at the pay window ask for another 20%! I drove off. They will NEVER see me again. Not ever.
I have had a horrendous, bizarre experience with Telkom. On 9th July 2018 I applied for a phone line plus the internet for our new mechanical workshop in Brentwood Park, Benoni, via their website. My application was rejected due to a signature discrepancy. I fixed that up and resent the application. I was then told the application was rejected a second time due to our company not having their own bank account, but rather our account is in my husband's name. I was told to reapply for a residential line and NOT a business line. Meanwhile 2 days later the courier arrives with what is called a Look Alike phone and plugged us in. Confused, I asked how come I have a phone with a big arial sticking out, but my application has been rejected? I phoned scores of times to get answers from the lady who assisted me in the beginning, but she told me to basically go away as she'd done her part of the application. Excuse me? And I don't have the internet! She tells me after the fact that there is no coverage for the internet and that she told me so. I deny that! Why would I go with Telkom for a phone only and not the internet for my business? And why was I getting a phone if my application was rejected? The phone was not activated for days and days as it was not on automatic activation. And why? Because there was no valid application form to go with the line! Meanwhile I went with Nepic who connected me within 24 hours with both a phone and the internet. Now Telkom are billing me every month and have received my second account and the phone is still unused in its box. I need to cancel this ******** of an application, but the lady who "helped" me with this application, Celine Dawson, is refusing to help me. Her manager, Jessica Nair, only took the facts from Celine and did not ask ME what transpired, and has told me to also basically take a hike. My argument is, if Telkom has no coverage for the internet in the Brentwood Park area, then why did Celine sell me a phone product? I had to call her about 50 times to get updates and to get help. She didn't bother to phone me ONCE during this whole ordeal. I am so angry that I am being billed thousands of Rands for an incomplete product I enquired about. Billing is telling me to fill out a cancellation form on their website, but I can't even load the bill onto my user name as it isn't recognised as belonging to me. Bizarre! I need someone from Telkom to phone me that isn't out to force me to pay for a service I didn't order. Nobody will help me with this!!!
