Despite my countless attempts to engage with the bank to uplift the hold on my accounts after a divorce court order was finalized Capitec is unable to fix this issue, I've tried emails,whatsapp and even going to the branch to have my accounts activated but to this point I am still unable to make transactions and I feel it is totally unfair because all the financial institutions have uplifted the hold on all my accounts, why is it hard to allow me to access my accounts? Do the right thing Capitec I am utterly disappointed with the way you are dealing with this.
I had defaulted my account for the loan i had with this company and I had reasons because my finances were not healthy but I at a later stage paid off the account and now I am getting calls from debt collectors demanding me to pay double the amount I owed unifi even after numerous emails and calls they still do not want to update or remove their account on my credit profile.
I am disappointed with these companies way of billing clients, I am being billed for Fibre line that was never used the line was only installed on 21/02/2023 but my services are already suspended, I’ve got a line for 30/3 which was upgraded by them for reasons I do not know about, I also have uncapped voice which costs R179 monthly, a debit of more than R500 went of at the end of Jan for which I reversed because how am I paying for services I’ve never used? Didn’t they installation is free? Doesn’t prorata apply? On the 22/02/23 I paid R630 that is due for which I didn’t have a problem with and now I’ve just received an invoice that I have to pay R934 due by the first of march!!! It doesn’t make sense to me! I was really looking forward to their service but I am now skeptical and guess what? My services are still suspended!! At this stage they can come and get their equipment if they don’t resolve this!!! It is month to month of services rendered not what’s happening, purely unethical.
The worst thing one can do is to apply for an account on the fnb website utter rubbish, you’ll end up with a dud account or a dummy account that doesn’t work, their FICA verification process is also utter rubbish I’ve sent my documents for verification on the 31st of December 2021 and after that I got an email stating that I they will let me know if I am verified within 48 hours , I’ve called the call centre to query about the account and all I get is “your documents are not on the system yet” it is frustrating and unprofessional.

I’m so disappointed in the manner my upgrade took place, after having to complain about how their courier company inconvenienced me for almost a week!! My phone finally arrives but guess what it’s not what I’ve ordered, now I am here stuck with a phone I can’t use because it is not what I want!! When I called the upgrade department I was asked a silly question “ what difference does it make, you can put a case on the phone” unfortunately it does matter I wanted a Gold iPhone not the graphite that was sent to me!!! And this is not the first time this happens the last time I took out a contract with them a blue phone was sent instead of black!! And also why can’t I change the phone at the nearest mtn store? Sort this out mtn not this time around
All this company knows is to reschedule deliveries zero communication, I was at a point where I wanted to cancel the MTN order, they are very incompetent and condescending, they never call back!! When you do call in and fortunately go through you are put on hold for more than 10 minutes and should your calls get cut they never call back!! Pathetic
Recently traded in a car for a new one at this establishment , on the 8th of October they made sure they went out of their way to get the deal done, now the trouble started when they had to settle my car and pay me back the balance, I was told that I will be paid money into my bank account within three business days, sadly till today the 15th of October the car I traded in hasn’t been settled even though I told them the settlement amount was valid for seven days, i am being told money has to be requested from head office and when I do the follow ups I am still told that they haven’t been given the requested funds they yet to make another request , You only treat clients when it benefits you for pushing sale not client satisfaction
