Crime spot at night, several people have lost their cellphones at the store. We were victims this evening - we spoke to one of the cashiers and yesterday the same thing happened
There was a storm recently, our roof started leaking and we lost a few tiles due to the storm. The next morning we logged the issue with Cosmo Projects and we were told a team would be sent The next day : a teams arrives, they survey the leak and the missing tiles, they fix the leak and tell us that they will be back to finish off the job because it had started raining Three days later: I call the customer care cause they were not back yet, I ask what the issue is and they tell us that we should log a claim with our insurance because they are not liable for the damage Next day: I come back home earlier than usual and we see Cosmo vans outside other people’s houses fixing the same issues we have. I call to ask why there is a difference in the services received and they say that those people got approval from their insurance companies to have the issue fixed by Cosmo Projects (I also don’t understand this) Two more days later: our other neighbours tell us that they had their roof fixed and they didn’t do it through insurance. They just logged a call and everything was done
We moved in some time in March 2023. And there has been a number of issues that have been a challenge for us from the moment we moved it and I’d like for you to consider those before you buy into it 1. The first occupants of the village I live in are going close to a year now and there’s still no park - children play on the street road as a result 2. There is no road signage another safety hazard (remember that the children are still playing on the road ne) 3. There no speed humps in some streets (what did I say konje about the children) 4. The security is a joke. One car patrols (sometimes, the evening) three villages. That same car is our sole armed response. Just one car with one officer 5. We have no bins, the houses are registered so that you pay your levies of course but, no bins 6. Which is equals to a pest problem (which the developers says isn’t their problem) 7. The standard of workmanship is so poor that you can have the retention in your house for 2 weeks straight. And that’s if you are fortunate enough to be working from home (take a short course in plumbing, you are going to need it) 8. Don’t get me started on the MOI. Village 1 was completed I don’t know when but let’s say it’s been a year now and they still don’t have control over what happens in their village. So basically for them, anything that the developer deems to be sufficient (like the one patrol car) is what they get 9. The fibre that they say is plug and play and ready to go IS plug and play but definitely not ready to go. In some cases their downtime is exactly the same as the loadshedding schedule. That time you are supposed to be working from home 10. There’s more but I think you get the picture. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of potential but you’ll literally have to fight to get there
We’ve been using Takealot for years now and they have always been reliable. Their refund and exchange process is also seamless and I have never found myself in a situation where by I had to call them countless times to get a refund or update regarding an exchange. Their pickup option is also always a pleasure to use. You get there and scan your QR code or relay the code that they emailed to you to the collections consultant and done. your have your order Just make sure you read the reviews for anything you want to buy. That way you’ll know for sure that it works
We have been dealing with Mercedes Benz M2 (Recently moved to Bardene, near The Glen) since 2020 when we bought our car from them. They have always gone above and beyond for us even when they shouldn’t have. A big, big thumbs up to everyone - the security guards, technicians, the drivers and the service consultants. This is definitely how you retain clients
My experience with Surf4Life has been both good and bad. There were times when they said they would do something and didn’t and I then would have to call them for it to be rectified, and there were also times when they did exactly what they said they would I think they need to relook their policy regarding weekend and holiday services. Currently their technicians and finance stuff are unavailable during weekends and holidays. So if you come across an issue or fault, you have to wait until the next working day But apart from that, they are worth a try
My overall experience with Renew-it Bedfordview has been an unpleasant experience. On the 11/05/2023 I took my car to their workshop for a retention issue following unsatisfactory quality of work on my car. I was then offered a courtesy car by the service consultant, which I took as doing the same through my insurer would have been a lengthy process I paid the R2500 deposit that was required of me and I was told it would be refundable when I bring the car back. On the 08/06/2023 the car was delivered back to my home at around 18h00. The car drove well and I had no issue with it until the 17/06/2023 when I decided to wash the car myself at home and noticed that there were scratches on the front bumper and that my front bumper had not been fitted back properly. I then immediately notified the consultant, who given that it was during the weekend, rep**** on Monday and said that she had photos that would stand as proof that the car didn’t leave the workshop in the condition I was claiming it to be in but, can try organise someone to come to my home to fit the bumper properly. I asked for the photos and she said that their system was offline. That’s was on the 19/06/2023 Today is the 28/06/2023, I’ve been on a back and forth with her regarding that and my refund and I am yet to received anything from her and/or Renew-it. My car still has scratches and my front bumper is still not fitted properly This is my second review about Renew-it Bedfordview. The first one was removed on the basis that I didn’t have proof of what I was claiming. So this time I have the WhatsApp screenshots - Hello Peter, please share email address so that I can forward them to you BEFORE you remove this one
If you can, avoid taking your car there This is the second time that my insurer allocates my claim to a company that is a member of the renew-it group and in both cases, the experience was bad. 1. On the 7th of March 2023, I returned my car to them after they failed to fix the headlight of my vehicle properly the first time. I took it back and they said they would book it in for two days (the services consultant maintains that this was only an estimate) - Anyway, two days became four days (six, if you include the weekend) and all they could tell me is that the car is not ready (and not once did they apologise to for the inconveniences caused during this time), ok fine, I ask them what’s the delay due to, cause two days has come and passed and I still don’t have my car and again, they don’t know 2. Given my distrust regarding anything that they say to me. I decide to check which dealership is my car really in and I find that my car isn’t at The Glen dealership that the consultant keeps telling me about but it is actually in Sebenza (please note: there’s no Mercedes dealership in Sebenza) What ticks me off the most is that, every time that I expressed my dissatisfaction with their refusal to commit or say something that is actually the truth to me regarding the car, there is no apology what so ever from anyone there So again, if you can ask your insurer to find a different repair for you cause renew it is as bad as they come or maybe it’s just my bad luck
MTN should consider upskilling their front-end employees I went to the MTN in alberton (Mall @ New Market) twice to get my ESIM activated and 5 Months later, no one at MTN Alberton seems to be able to activate it, and also there's the issue of how the employees there seem to be always annoyed with each other and the customers
Great experience and service from the call centre. Assistance was provided by Mpho Masello
