The online store of this shop needs to be overhauled. I have had two very poor service experiences.
Pitiful online store service. I've been waiting three weeks for my order to be handed to the courier. I get automated responses to email and FB queries.
Without option we were transferred to Cloud Karoo after Breedenet was bought by herotel. It is impossible to get any informed support from Cloud Karoo. I needed assistance setting up a router by phone and the technician was just dictating a YouTube video to me. I hung up and found myself a youtube video. Signal is unreliable and I am regularly receiving well below the bandwidth I pay for.
The courier guy has lied to me, over-charged me and are now ignoring me. I accepted an online via my account. The quote for overnight delivery of a 4kg parcel was R232. When tracking the parcel online the following day I noticed it was on its way to a different town (with the same name) despite all correct information written on the parcel and put into the online collection. I notified the courier guy who then rerouted the parcel. The following day (day 2) I received an email saying that the truck transporting the parcel had been hijacked and the parcel was unaccounted for... I was panicked and started the process of claiming for the contents of the parcel. But on day 3 I received another email saying the parcel had been recovered and would be delivered on day 5 which it did. I was also charged on day 2. Three days before the parcel was delivered. The issue is that I was charged R793. when I queried this I was told that the dimensions of the parcel were disproportionate to their weight. This is not true as when inputting the exact dimensions with weight into the online quote facility the quote given is R232 (this is overnight rates) so I was charged an overnight fee for a parcel that took FIVE days to be delivered. My emails are not being responded too and my account has been frozen as a result of the R793 charge. It is now two weeks later and my emails are no longer being responded to.
Strange online store procedure. I ordered a product 5 days ago. Their online track and trace does not work so I send an FB message asking someone to update me on the shipping. I was told to call the call centre. When I called I was told that a request was sent to one of their stores and that the store would send the item to me, the operator told me to be patient and that I should hopefully receive the parcel in the next 5 to 7 days. A store on the other side of the company just called to say I must collect my item. I had to then explain that I was a 10 hour drive away and it needed to be couriered. Confusion ensued. This is how not to run an online store....
I ordered a pair of Chelsea boots on the 18th of march. They arrived on the 8th of April. When I asked why they were taking so long to be sent I was told there delays in the production. The shoes were too big so I requested a return through the website. I was provided with a waybill and instructions and the next day the shoes were collected to be returned. The arrived back with veldskoen on the 12th of April. In an email exchange with Nic Latouf I asked that all shipment details be sent to me then the new pair were dispatched. His reply "absolutely!. I have had ABSOLUTELY no further correspondence from Veldskoen, my emails, WhatsApp messages ,a facebook message, an instagram message all remain unanswered. All I would like to know is when they will be sending my shoes, that I paid for over a month ago???
I bought two Connor 3 seater couches from the PE shop a few months apart last year. The second arrived in August. The fabric on this sofa is pilling and the couch looks like it has been used heavily for years. I have spoken to the PE branch manager who asked me to email him my query with photographs explaining what the issue is. I did this. I have not received a reply to my email, nor have I received replies to two subsequent emails asking for my first email to be acknowledged. I have also sent an email via the coricraft website. No answer. I have since read that Coricraft does not guarantee their fabrics because they cannot make provision for how the fabric is treated in ones home. The couches I bought are barely used! the fabric of the one looks brand new and the fabric of the other looks horrible and old. The quality of the one couch's fabric very obviously of poor quality. Obviously coricraft is not even prepared to engage with me demonstrating that the quality of their customer service matches the quality of their products...POOR!
