Cecil Nurse and Marriott Ads during Cycling
Hello Cecil and Marriott You full screens ads during Cycling races on DSTV are highly irritating. Please consider split screen ads. Most cycling fans now record the race, start watching after 15 mins and "fast forward" as soon as your ads appear. So you are not getting any value for your ads right now.

Cycling events on DSTV
Why has DSTV reduced cycling events on sport channel 206? Last year and the year before we could follow the UAE tour and the opening one day events in Belgium. This year there is nothing. This weekend there is the Strade Bianche event in Italy. All the big names in cycling will be there, but there is nothing on DSTV. The first "monument" is the Milan- San Remo event later in March. I wonder what DSTV has decided about that ( and the other remaining Monuments and one day races in March and April. If this continues then I will cancel my DSTV Premium membership. Is there an alternative? Yes, there is. I discovered that all cycling is available on the Web. Just enter "Live Cycling" and follow the link. It's for free. I allowed them to hit me with adverts (because they have to cover their costs somehow).

Plascon Micatex SAHARA paint in 5L pots withdrawn from SALES?
I bought 120L Micatex Paint (Colour = SAHARA) a few weeks ago to paint my house. I need 3 to 4l to finish the job. I looked everywhere in Pretoria and Centurion for a 5 liter pot. Yesterday I was told that Plascon doesn't make 5L pots of SAHARA paint anymore, and that I have to buy a 20L pot. Micatex is a very good paint, and last for 10 years. What must I do with 17l of paint after I finish the job? Dump it?

How do I get a complete DIscovery Bank Credit Card statement (from / to date)?
Does anybody know how pull a credit card statement from Discovery Bank? "All was well" until December 2019: all my credit transaction info (and other information like Miles) was available on Discovery's website and I could download the statement in "spreadsheet' format. In Dec 2019 I moved my Discovery card t o Discovery Bank and I now have to use the App on my cell phone. Discovery removed all credit transactions information from their website and I now can not download statements anymore. The app on the phone also does not have a "statement download" function. DIscovery Bank also stopped sending me statements each month. Does anybody know how I can get hold of a statement of my Discovery Visa Card transactions? I need this information because Discovery Insure keep on ignoring some of my Petrol transactions (which means that my petrol refund each month is incorrectly calculated) and Discovery Insure then wants a copy of my Credit Card Transactions. I therefore need a statement.

DIscovery Insure Petrol Refund not correctly calculated
Does anybody know what is happening at Discovery Insure? Discovery Insure has ignored some of my petrol transactions 4 times in the last 12 months. I had to contact Discovery Insure to get my petrol refund back each time. Why is this happening? Is somebody committing fraud at Discovery Insure? I am 66 years old, but still capable of checking all my petrol and credit transactions each month. Am I a "target" (because I'm older and likely not to check my transactions & refund)? Without the petrol refund Discovery Insure is more expensive than other insurers.

What does Discovery Bank offer to pensioners?
I am a pensioner. I am a member of Discovery Mas and Discovery Insurance. I also have a Discovery CC. I am an active Vitality member. I strongly believe in the Healthy Lifestyle approach that Discovery MAS promotes. I exercise, watch what I eat and drink, and do my check-ups. I am very happy with the above Discovery business units and have no complaints. I have been asked to join Discovery Bank via an email. I searched the web to find out what Discovery Bank offers to pensioners (my current bank has a special banking offer for pensioners) but couldn't find anything. Is the answer: "Nothing"? Does anybody know?

Chamberlain Centurion has excellent advisors
I'm a pensioner. I "downsized" to a smaller house 19 months ago. The house needed a bit a attention here and there. My favourite hardware shop is Chamberlain in Centurion. It has lots of materials and tool choices (from top of the range manufacturers for building professionals, to low cost choices for "handyman hobbyists" like me who like home repairs. Chamberlain Centurion employs a lot of "older people" who have a lot of experience with home repairs, and provide you with the various product choices and solutions for your problem. They know what works and what doesn't. Chamberlain helped with waterproofing solutions for my walls and roof, roof insulation materials, the right metal paint products for my rust problem, garden irrigation system, the best oil product for my wooden garage door, etc. But one needs to "engage" them: for example I was looking for a workbench for my work area in my garage. I mentioned that the workbenches on the floor were rather expensive for a "hobbyist" home repairman like me. The Chamberlain assistant asked: "Why don't you make one? That's what I did". He then showed me how to make sturdy legs for the workbench from cheap (crate)wood that Chamberlain has, the choices for the shelves and top, and the various *****s to put it together.

Axxess Fibre and VOIP service
I use Axxess ISP Services ( over a fibre capped Telkom Openserve line) and also have VOIP agreement (which I use on my IPAD). Everything just works. Never had a problem. Axxess' website has all the info, stats and billing information, that one needs and wants to look at.

Thank you Allan Gray for your friendly and excellent service. I'm a pensioner. Allan Gray manages my pension (LA), and my other retirement investments. Allan Gray's website provides all the information that I need to manage my investments myself, without assistance of a "financial advisor". Allan Gray also offers a very good Service Level Agreement i.e. all request submitted before 14h00 will be actioned on that day. As a customer I can submit all my request via their website, or I can phone them. When I phone Allan Gray's service centre, their operators are always friendly and helpful. Allan Gray's operator never "guess" what the answer to my question is: they either know the answer, or they promise to find out and phone me back. Allan Gray's people are excellent.

Electrolux still had parts for my ancient (17 years old) dishwasher.
Thank you Electrolux for excellent service. We have an Electrolux dishwasher that is 17 years old and just keeps on working. We needed to replace the cutlery basket and the bottom tray. I contacted Electrolux to find out if they still had parts for my old machine. And their reply was:"Yes, no problem".
