I have had major dissatisfaction with the handling of my loan application, submitted on 06 February 2026. Following my application, I submitted all requested documentation via email as instructed. However, when I followed up on 14 February 2026, I was informed that my application had been cancelled due to a supposed failure to provide the necessary paperwork. It is disappointing that despite my compliance, Sanlam provided no feedback or communication regarding the status of my documents. This lack of professionalism and poor internal coordination is unacceptable. As a result of this experience and the perceived incompetence of this facility, I have lost confidence in Sanlam’s services.I intend to withdraw all my investments and terminate my relationship with your institution.
Issue 1- teacher takes 10 days to mark an assignment. Already deleted 2ce . There’s no accountability at Cambrilearn and always pushing parents from pillar to post. Issue 2- I signed my son up with Cambrilearn in term 3. Demi never told me I had to pay for the full year. I was told I pay from term 3. Now I’m being cornered to pay for 2 terms which my son was not enrolled in .
Purchased a Kambrook Hot water dispenser 04 August 2024. It stopped dispensing water about a month ago. Tried to locate the slip but couldn’t. Eventually today , the credit card company sent me the statement to check. I called the store and due to policy, the manager cannot change it because I’m 2 days out of warranty which is fine. They are also unable to take it and send back to the manufacturer. This upsets me because this item is not cheap and clicks refused to assist with at least sending back to the manufacturer’s. I’m going to send this to clicks to frame. Your policies are terrible and no intention on assisting customers
We recently purchased a home & the ceiling collapsed. I called in and after numerous follow ups, a contractor came through. My claim was rejected due to non maintaince of the roof. OOBA never took into consideration that I just bought the property and was unaware I had to make sure the roof had to have nails on them. I was told that the non maintenance of the roof should have been declared on the OTP, which it was not as we never had visual of the roof. I was also told that the wind contributed to the ceiling collapsing when there was no wind. All of this information was submitted by one contractor only and not multiple due to the fact that I'm sure they will get different inspection reports. Over and above that, they ignored my previous claim for my bedroom, added it to this claim, and rejected both. Clearly Ooba insurance is a **** and I'm sure they will find many ways to reject future claims. People require a trusted company to handle claims especially for their building and Ooba isnt one of them.
Purchased a house in December 2024. We were **** too by Thana Cronje from the word go. In February 2025, she informed us of a leak which was never sorted and damaged the home. No handover was done. No inspection reports were submitted. She agreed to pay for the damages but never did. The man who stood as the owner of the property, was never the owner to begin with. Thana had **** over and over again leaving us with bills upon bills as well as a vandalised property.
Purchased a house in December 2024. Attorney was appointed by seller. Salome De Bryn, absolutely rude individual. I had instructed her to hold back funds due to vandalism which was ignored. She never assisted with any paperwork which was requested. Even though we paid for her service, the amount of disrespect received from her was impeccable. She knew the paperwork I was requesting, but totally ignored me and rep**** as if I was stupid. I will be laying a formal complaint about her attitude
We purchased a house and Louw & Heyl Attorneys was allocated by Absa. Iva had been the most supportive person during this whole process. Even after moving in, we had endless problems, but never once did she cut the call or not return a call. She had been supportive throughout the whole process. Attorneys need more people like Iva and Louw & Heyl Attorneys. Her people skills are impeccable and she made my first time of purchasing a home a breeze . Thank you Iva and Louw & Heyl
Took my Car in today for the 15000km service only to find out that my service was claimed for in Cape Town and I'm Johannesburg. So I now need to wait until they finish their investigation for me to sort my vehicle. Chery once again making their issues their customers issues. How can this happen? How is it possible? Nobody can tell me, so now I must wait. Wasted a day but cherry makes me wait because of their staff /capturing incompetence.
I took my car to Car Care Clinic in Little Falls for a major service. Upon collecting my vehicle , I took it home my husband checked it and there was oil spilled throughout the hood . Then we noticed that the bulb was paid for and not changed. I took the vehicle back and in my presence, a bulb was taken off another vehicle and placed on mine. I had a drivetrain issue on the vehicle and when they checked they told me the fault was gone , while driving it came back . So they tried to clear again and was given 20 errors which lead to the Transmission. My husband insisted it wasn’t and the manager said he doesn’t know why the error is popping up , so he asked that I bring the vehicle back and he will get an auto electrician to come have a look . I did that , waiting two hours across the road . When I went back he says auto electrician says he doesn’t know. Then a week later took the vehicle back because the service light came on saying I needed to service my vehicle , but it was incorrectly set by them . They set it at 800km instead of 15000km. So when I took it back the manager see my Drivetrain error and says “the auto electrician is here , should I get him to look at the car” . I rep**** “didnt he have a look at it before “ manager says NO. At that point I realised I was taken for a ride and decided not to go back. In April 2024, my car acted up . I took it to another Service center only to find out the Plugs needed. To be replaced. I argued that I had new platinum plugs put in November 2023 . Eventually I had to pay and get that sorted . Plugs supposed to have been changed every 100000kms and I only did 8000km. I escalated to Car Care Clinic and was told I cannot get my money back on the plugs because I didn’t bring the car back to them . How in the world am I supposed to trust someone with my vehicle when they messed up 4 times and **** ?
Worst service ever. When I took my BMW in , i informed them about a drivetrain error I was getting. After the service was done , apparently there was too many faults and they couldn’t tell what the issue was. Upon the checks my husband did , noticed a couple things such as the drivetrain and the head light wasn’t changed. In my presence, the bulb was removed from another vehicle and placed on mine which I witnessed and I ignored even though I paid for the bulb . I was told to bring back the vehicle for the auto electrician, apparently he couldn’t find the fault . My husband noticed the car kicked off an error saying service due in 5000km when we just did the service. Took the vehicle back and I was told they can’t reset but “the auto electrician who was supposed to look at my car is there today “. Clearly I was **** too previously and the auto electrician never looked at the car. Today I was told that it’s an oil sensor. So apparently because there was so many errors , they couldn’t have picked this up. Clearly if you doing an oil service , you should be able to tell what’s the problem when the 5000km service light kicked in . Stop wasting peoples time , energy and money. Stop ****ming people. This isn’t fair. I don’t suggest taking your vehicle to Car Care Clinic. Definitely ******* their customers and don’t know what they doing.
