I bought the Eua Dynamisante as a gift. It came in a cheap, leaking bottle. I was prompted by email to review which I did honestly. Clarins then volunteered to replace the bottle. I must repeat, they VOLUNTEERED! When the replacement arrived, I packed it away to travel as it was a gift for my sister. When her bday arrived and she opened the package, I was horrified to see a bottle of even less content than the original one. I informed Clarins, but they are ghosting me. Mothame started off friendly but never actually did what he promised :-( When I was again prompted to review, my review stating what occured was rejected.
Hirsch is selling DEFY glass top stoves but when you call about the glass cracking with normal use - i.e. you switch the stove on - they immediately inform you (for the first time) that your glass on your GLASS top stove is not covered by warranty as per the terms and conditions from DEFY. So if you switch on the stove and the glass cracks, tough luck. Boom! That's R7k down the drain! Why would Hirsch go along with this? Why would Hirsch allow Defy to abuse their customers like this? This is not an isolated incident. Read it here on HelloPeter! Also, when you call Hirsch Customer Care, they have already dealt with this before and can immediately tell you what to expect from Defy. But WAIT! That's not all... Hirsch can then go on to "assist" you to arrange a DEFY tech to come out to you to tell you what's wrong with the stove... All for another R900. You know... Just in case you couldn't figure out that the problem is the CRACKED glass 🤯 Hirsch is a big role player in allowing DEFY to abuse their customers. They simply just DON'T CARE. It's profit first at Hirsch!

That's just a warning... you know... in case you were planning on buying a stove and then actually switching it on to use... As far as they are concerned any time the glass cracks it's customer negligence. 🤔 But WAIT! That's not all... After that, they are prepared to send a tech out to you to tell you what's wrong with the stove... All for another R900. You know... Just in case you couldn't figure out that the problem is the cracked glass 🤯 I simply cannot believe they have gotten away with this all this while and are still able to sell glass top stoves! I'm guessing it's the retailers that allow this abuse to continue. So unless you are buying a stove as an ornament... STAY AWAY FROM DEFY GLASS TOP
Excellent, quick and efficient service. Certain niche products available. Some items might seem pricey but certain things you won't find elsewhere.
Africology products are simply devine. Deliveries are always quick, efficient and accurate. My sensitive skin never reacts to their concoctions. I love it!!!
We always receive the best food here. Also, it's always service with a smile. It's a great family venue. I highly recommend eating in.
I placed an order online for in-store delivery in 48 hours. The sleeping bag was needed for my sons camping trip. When it didn't arrive in time I had to get 1 from another store. When it did arrive in store I tried to immediately return the brand new sleeping bag which I no longer needed. They refused. Apparently I can only return by driving from Centurion to Boksburg which is the store that had the stock of the items I ordered. OR I could right them an email, go to my bank and get a letter and then they would take about 15 days to process my return!!! I didn't think it fair for me to have to go through this expense or trouble. I tried to explain that this was unacceptable as I was standing in store and expected them to process a return. But they kept repeating a sad story about their store being different to the online store! Non of this is mentioned when you purchase online and they are happy to steal your money. If I'm going to my bank it's going to be to report theft on my credit card!
What a fantastic dining experience. Waitress was clued up on menu, food was presented to MasterChef standard and the taste was devine. A little on the pricey side, but worth it!
I am an ABSA customer since forever but I cannot get them to assist in preventing MTN from stealing money off my account. My contract ended last year and I showed ABSA proof that I had asked MTN to end the contract and switch to Pay-as-you-go. Instead MTN stopped charging me R169 and is now charging me R539 for the 2nd month in a row!!! Why would ABSA not assist me in ending this.
An absolute pleasure shopping for pjs online. Placed an order Thursday afternoon, it was delivered by Friday morning! Such great service is SO dare these days, but Sleepy Sleepwear knows how to deliver :-) Absolute great value for money. Decent, practical and functional pjs.
