I ordered 16mm spark plug socket but takealot delivered 21mm spark plug socket instead , I logged a return and clearly indicated on the return form that I want a replacement as I needed the tool to service my car but to my surprise, takealot opted to credit my account instead of replacing the incorrectly delivered item. This to me is poor service as I will have to pay for delivery should I make a new order from scratch for the right socket.
I'm so dissapoined with HIFI Corp, they advertise stock that they don't have , they advertised Proline Thinline 14 Celeron N3060 4GB RAM 500GB HDD Laptop for R2999 on their red flash sale. I bought it on Monday 13 March 2023 hoping it will be delivered on time so I can use it to do my UNISA assignment that was due on 17 March 2023, instead of me getting the laptop on the due date of the assignment what I got is an Apology email from HIFI Corp informing me that order cancelled because they don't have stock.
I would like to commend the fast and efficient service I received from Malas tyres through their friendly and knowledgeable sales person Lucan Hammond. On Tuesday 26 October 2021 afternoon I called Malas to enquire about a replacement tyre for my damaged tyre, I made the call 500km away from Limpopo in a town called Malamulele. Mr Lucan Hammond gave the quote and courier options of which I was satisfied and proceeded with the payment , Malas quickly phoned back to confirm receipt of Payment and also to confirm delivery adress. I was under the impression that my Tyre will arrived after 7 days or more because of the geographical distance between Malamulele and Pretoria but to my surprise the tyre was delivered 2 days later on Thurday 28 October 2021 , which was even faster than the 72 hours lead time promised. I am completely blown away by the serviced received and don't think I will ever buy tyres anywhere except at Malas๐๐๐. I would recommend anyone to buy tyres from Malas, they know what they are doing and treat their customers like gold
Took my car for aircon control module replacement and replacement of engine coolant pipe replacement, the aircon control module and engine coolant pipes was replaced to my satisfaction. The shop also did 80 point check and quoted me on shocks, and other suspension components, well I was aware that my shocks are worn out and didn't mind them doing them since it would save me time as the car was already there, but little did I know that I am committing the greatest mistake ever. To cut the long story short it took them about 2 weeks to get the "right shocks" or let alone let me know what is the delay with regard to getting the shocks done . I started to be suspicious on the 2nd week and called them to found out if the car is ready and was told that they can't find the right shocks, then the following day I was told they now found the right shocks, a couple of days later the car is still not ready. On the 4rd week I told them that I am coming to fetch my car regardless of whether the car is ready or not as I feel like they are hiding something, the lady at reception then told me there is noise from the suspension and that is the reason for the delay but said the car will be ready at 10am the next day. I went to fetch the car around 10am and judging by how it was washed I couldn't see that they put it together minutes before 10am. I then took the car and started hearing strange sounds from the suspension that I have never had before , it was like the shocks were not tight or the engine is falling off when driving over humps or turning the steering. I then asked the mechanic at work to check what could be wrong as I didn't want to go back to the same people who took 3 weeks to fit front shocks and giving me conflicting stories over that 3 weeks period. The mechanic could immediately tell that the shocks are fitted the other way around and advised me to take the car back to motorpro , I alerted them about the noise and explained that our work mechanics thinks the shocks are fitted wrong , the reception lady and owner of motorpro were very defensive and wanted to blame my work mechanic because they didn't want to take ownership of the problem that they were aware of when I went to fetch the car, the owner said I can go wherever I want to or report me he won't help me, I then reported the matter to RMI and it was then that he was willing to help. I took the car back to them to fix the shocks. When I went to fetch the car for the 2nd time the car had other problem that was not there when I took the car to them, the was noise from the catalytic converter which was not there even the time the owner test drove the car with me after I complained about shocks noise. He started lying about it saying he doesn't know what happened as they didn't touch the exhaust and said that he suspect my car's catalytic converter was removed long time ago. I went to a exhaust place and the catalytic converter noise was fixed. My summary is that if you really love your car stay think twice before trusting Motorpro.
I recently booked my car at lehlobo auto body repairs known as Lar Tech, my car needed a dent removed on the rear right fender and also scratches on both mirrors, the job they did on the car was super, you can hardly pin point the repaired part of the car because the painted area looks the same as the rear of the car, I recommend Lar Tech to anyone, those guys know their job.
I am extremely Happy with Bidvest insurance , i have 2 policies with them i.e scratch and dents & Key guard angel . I have recently submitted a claim for key and also 2 scratches and dents claims, all claims were approved without hussles, I recommend Bidvest insurance to anyone needing similar covers. I settled overdue account in April , called them for settlement letter all i get i told is i will get the letter in 21 days but nothing as yet and im listed on ITC because they never updated my account.
I just want to share the horrible experience i had with insure Africa so people can make an informed decision before taking out a warranty policy with them. My car was booked in at CMH Nissan midrand on 5 March 2017 because there was noise from the suspension when turning steering to the left. CMH Nissan diagnosed the car and find that the problem is the tie rod ends and left wheel bearing, the sent a quote through to insure Africa who rejected the claim due to an admin erroe on the invoice when the last service was done at BB Mount Fuji Nissan Louis Trichard where the car was last service, the car was service at 71286km but the mileage was captured wrong as 77286km, The car's mileage was 73345km when taken to CMH Nissan for repairs . I then notified BB Mount Nissan Fuji Louis Trichard of the mistake on the invoice, they fixed the mistake and even sent evidence in the form of car inspection sheet on the day of the service and original job , insure Africa them requested pictures of the car registration number, license disc and odometer reading , all this was sent to them by CMH Nissan midrand but they still rejected the claim saying I submitted fraudlet documents (I have that on email and willing to share with anyone who want to see it) and mind you all eveidence was sent to insure Africa from Nissan dealers, they only authorised R2250 out of R8000 quote which they say was a mistake and later told me that my policy is suspended because they haven't received any of the documents they requested but which we're sent, i then complained on their facebook page but was after blocked, I resent all documents to them and promised to get back to me but never did as of today, they then paid the R2250 they say was authorised by mistake after a month so I can get my car back as Nissan was waiting for that payment, I already paid the balance of the full cost but had to wait a month for them to pay so Nissan can release the vehicle . My claim was rejected without valid reasons and still no explanation to date but they are still debiting my monthly premiums. So people be ware of insure Africa.
Insure Africa reject my claim without a valid reason. My car has noise on the suspension, I then booked it at CMH Nissan midrand for a diagnosis in order to claim for warranty, a guy by the name of Sean rejected the claim citing there is a discrepancy in last service mileage of the vehicle, the dealer that serviced the vehicle BB Mount Fuji Louis Trichard made a mistake when capturing the invoice, the mileage was captured as 77286km instead of 71286km, the car's mileage at the time of the claim was 73345km (approximately), the 77286km was a clear mistake as the car had not reached that mileage, I then contacted BB Mount Fuji Louis Trichard to fix the mistake which they did, the corrected invoice together with pictures of the disc, cluster and registration plate of the car was sent to Sean then the claim was authorised for an amount of R2250 out of about R7954 quotation (by mistake according to their claims department), they gave CMH Nissan midrand a go ahead to only replace the wheel bearing but rejected the claim for the rod ends, they later told the service advisor from CMH Nissan that the claim was rejected due to fraudulent documents being submitted, I then complained via direct message on the Facebook page to a lady called Chantal, she pretendd to be helping and even lied about tying to contact me which I disputed in one of the emails she responded to when I complained via email, she then and swore at me on the phone. Their claims department claimed that the service advisor from both CMH nissan and BB Mount refused to help them which was a lie, both service advisors copied me on every email sent to insure Africa, I even resent the documents and the response i got is that the policy has been suspended which I still don't understand because they were sent all documents they requested which was corrected invoice, job card and inspection sheet on the day of the service , they only offered to pay the R2250 they authorised by "mistake" and the payment made 4 weeks after the claim, I was without a vehicle for the whole month because they were still looking for a reason to reject the claim that they still rejected without valid reasons, I was asked to resubmit all documents again for review of which I am still waiting for, I know their response to this will still be to resend the documents of which they will never respond or atleast give a valid reason why they rejected the claim. I have 2 policies with them the other is for body care which I have finally realised I'm paying for nothing after the experience i had with them. I don't see the reason to continue with their policies they are very unprofessional and crooks who just want your premiums and reject your claim when they must pay.
