I had an extremely disappointing experience with a repair technician. I entrusted my Samsung phone for repairs, only for it to be returned with additional issues. I was quoted a repair cost, which I paid without hesitation. However, I am now in an ongoing struggle to have my phone properly repaired or returned with its original parts and a refund for the payment made. Given that my phone has still not been returned, I will be proceeding with opening a case against the technician.
Tyremart Centurion West (Forrest Hill) I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have received from your Centurion West branch recently. I ordered two tires at the beginning of the week and was informed they would arrive by Wednesday or Thursday midday. When I called on Wednesday for an update, I was told the tires were on the way from Limpopo. On Thursday, I waited the entire day without any communication from your team. Assuming the tires had arrived, I took time off work and drove to your branch, only to find out that there was no update. Throughout this process, there has been a significant lack of communication from your team. Despite making full payment on Thursday, it is now Friday and I still have no resolution or clarity on when my tires will arrive. This experience has been highly frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the time and money spent. I urge you to review your communication and delivery procedures to prevent this from happening to other customers.
Yesterday I app**** for a cell phone contract online and was asked to send through my Payslip and My ID as supporting documents for my application. I did that immediately and by the afternoon I received the below feedback. Your application has been approved, kindly contact Vodacom Direct-Activations on 0821945 to assist with activation and delivery. Now its the following day I called in as per above and was told my application delivery was canceled. Why was it cancelled this is really frustrating.

To make matters worse, my follow-up attempts over the course of the last four days have been met with the same unhelpful response. I have spoken to four different agents, each of whom simply tells me the same story: "This has been escalated." The names of these agents, Zeenat, Nonkululeko, Lesego, and Nelisiwe, are unfortunately now associated with my dissatisfaction with your service. The fact that the issue has been escalated multiple times without any tangible resolution or improvement is highly frustrating. Frankly, I am genuinely tired of the ineffectiveness of your platform and the solutions offered by your support team. Today, I was once again informed that my issue has been escalated, a response that offers no solace or progress. I implore you to address this matter urgently and provide me with the necessary assistance to resolve the issues I have encountered on your platform. Timely communication and effective problem-solving are essential for maintaining the trust and satisfaction of your users. I sincerely hope for a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter.
Terrible internet connection. When signing up your taken to were you can check line of sight and signal strength. Im paying R529 for 1.88mbps download and 1.22mbps upload I get faster speeds on a cell phone with a different network This is all just a **** really.
The website application is the worst. I app**** 4 times and all you get is a reference number and they tell you they will make contact soon!!! YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM I cant walk into a store since I'm at work all the time. I tried to apply online all i get is acknowledge emails with reference numbers. I sent the my 4 reference numbers twice then they ask for my ID then nothing again. Classic example of how bad things have gotten in South Africa
I app**** for a contract online and was approved and after going trough all the necessary steps im told the phone i ordered was currently unavailable. I was on with that 2weeks down the line I hear nothing. This is a gift for my wife her birthday is around the corner. I called in to find out whats going on. I was given and option to cancel and redo everything again with a different color or phone. Im put through Cancellations only to be told they cant do it they have to log it and wait. Not I cant even apply for a different phone cause the fist application is blocking me. This is terrible service ive used vodacom for years and for the most part they are good but this in nonsense. Probably my last purchase with them
I signed up with IWYSE in 2019 after moving away from MIWAY due to the expensive Premium and access I was paying at MiWay. 2020/06/20 I had an attempted Hijacking where my cars was damaged but was not taken, It was then repaired and life went on. 2022/05/11 I was hit from behind by someone that was not paying attention to the traffic on the N1. The guy has insurance and I provided all the details so that IWYZE can claim from the insurance of the person that hit me. Everything was ok and I paid my access as I was told that I would be refunded once the guilty parties insurance had settled the Bill. I was ok with that until yesterday. I received a call From IWYZE telling me that they will be terminating my insurance I need to find another insurance as they will not be covering me after the 6th. They say they are giving me a chance to leave properly before they terminate cause if they do that it would look bad on my profile and would make it difficult for me to find insurance. Not that I have a problem leaving, In this case its probably best that I leave cause should anything happen they will probably look for any reason not to payout. Im writing this to make people aware that this company has no interest in making sure your car is insured. The panel beater that worked on my car waited a few weeks looking for "after Market" generic parts because the insurance had not approved that they use genuine parts for the repair. We all have our views with regards to service and maybe other people feel different with this particular insurance.
I received great service from Janine from the moment my car was booked in for repairs. I never had to call to follow up with where and how far the repair was. She even made an effort to call and inform me whilst she was sick at home. I have dealt with Renew It before and the service was so bad I honestly didn't want my car taken to them again this time. But I'm glad I met Janine and she made the experience super easy and stress less. The only downside to collecting my car yesterday was that he office is exposed to the outside elements as it faces the main door. Though the main door was kept closed most of the time, every time it is open the wind goes straight into Janine's office making it unpleasant for me sitting there as we went through the hand over. This is also probably why she also fell sick during the time my car with with renew it.
Im disgusted at the service this service provider is offering. They no nothing about the POPI act. I signed up for a contract last year and everything was OK until i started someone elses statement. "MS Yagavelli Pillay" There is no security with vodacom. The statement shows everything Where they stay, what they paying for and recently I learned they just signed up for a new apple contract. The disturbing thing is I even got Sms that ask if I ordered and could cancel order if its not me. at that time i thought someone is using my details to order till i realized its MS Pillay. This is such an inconvenience cause I drove to a vodacom store fearing there is fraud happening. Only to find the store so full I ended up leaving. I dont want to be associated with such and would rather leave vodacom. There is no Privacy im not happy moving forward with my contract.
