7 years ago I started a job in a new company, as the receptionist I was responsible for replacing broke items. When the kettle gave up in 2018, all the staff said buy a cheap kettle because every 2 years we have to replace it. I was given a R300 budget and choose a defy stainless steel kettle for R299 on special. It looked modern and covered the cost. 7 years the directors still laugh and say the kettle is lasting as long as Erica is in the company. Thank you Defy
On Friday the 25 of April, I received a pick n pay voucher as a gift from Discovery medical. So I decided to visit the Cornubia Shopping Mall, Pick n pay.I remembered I once had an smart shopper card but it was lost. I approached the front of the store and was helped by an efficient and friendly lady Candice, who helped me with blocking the old card and continuously phoned customer service for a card replacement. What amazed me was her friendliness as she contacted customer service several times before replacing the card, and her explaining the process. Well done Candice on excellent customer service. But my overall experience at the store was wonderful. Even the till experience.
I recently visited exclusive number plates to get number plates for my new car. The service was delightful from start to finish. The guy attending to me explained how the number plate was SABS approved, confirming quality and meets with the regulations governed. As well as the owner Bradley offered me a free personalised key ring for visiting their store and completing my purchase with them.
On Saturday I visited the Truworths store at Phoenix Plaza, the store was so neat and tidy yet it was over a busy weekend. What was really amazing was the service at the tills, with only two cashier they was efficient, incredibly fast and helpful. They even helped customers with a smile, so rare these days. Excellent service
I instructed Phumelele from Metropolitan Durban to add on a new member to my existing policy yet she opened up a new policy for me, because she has access to my details. *****.. I waa double debited for Jan 2024, when I confronted her she told me she will cancel the policy. What happens to my money that was debited? She is every morning at The Municipality of Springfield depot, electricity dept trying to ***** people.
Poor experience at Truworths, when a Senior area manager refused to give me a chain displayed in their jewellery counter with an incorrect price. According to the consumer act 23(6) The provisions of subsection (6) therefore directs that where good or services are displayed with multiple prices, the consumer is entitled to pay the lower or lowest of the displayed prices. After a supervisor on duty telephoned the Area manager twice, she refused to give me the chain at the price displayed, rather she blamed the staff for displaying the chain with the incorrect price. The Area Manager Sayeed should know the consumer act. Poor example of leadership from truworths area manager on the 23/9, at 12:33 at the phoenix plaza.
Poor service, had to wait 2hrs for food because the manager slie and desk attendent thembeka could not write the correct order. I can understand if they not fluentbin English but why hire people in that area that cannot commuciate in that lauguage. After several call a Manager could assist, 2hrs later.
On Saturday the 9 of June we came into the bank to query a *****ulent loan, we used the telephone service inside the bank, first we called personal loans who transferred us to ***** department. Zanele from ***** department Johannesburg who was rude, ****** and enquired why an indian and zulu is talking. Conservation is recorded. She asked discriminating questions because my husband the account holder did not understand her, so I had to ask the questions. The wonderful consultant from the bank witnessed everything. Within 10 minutes of the conversation she slammed the phone without referring us to anyone. Pathetic service Zanele
Excellent service from kfc, last Friday I stopped at kfc to order supper on my way home at Kfc Riverside petroport and the chaos being a month end weekend a lovely lady, ended the sale when I collected my delivery, by greeting me, smiling and pleasantly asking me to enjoy my weekend. Reason why it stood out because the cashiers and lady at entrance of door continued to talk in a chaotic branch, when finally the cashiers was quiet instead of helping the lady pack orders they watched her, laughed at her and gossiped behind the counter. She looked like a new staff, she maintained her posture and served customers with pride. Keep up the good work
On the 12 of April I visited steers petroport riverhorse west to purchase a wacky Wednesday burger special, a friendly and stunning assistant named Sne Mgobhozi helped me. At 17:36 in the evening she had a smile on her face, welcomed me and packed my purchase with pride and offered me add on to complete my purchase. After so long someone in this industry behaved in such a delightful manner. She should be given an incentive... Thank you Sne. Keep it up you will reach places.
