I spoke to the office to query a TLB Hammer to hire for 2 days ( 18 hours) . Once i received the quote, i questioned a few T&C's and was assured of the best of service. I then alerted the person of the poor reviews, but was assured i will get the best of service after i pay the invoice in full. I took their word for it, but was let down from the day the TLB was to be delivered. I waited a week, promise after promise, only to be told they will rather issue a refund. One small amount after another, and since july 2025 , there is a balance unpaid.
The second time I was interested in buying the 3rd watch from them, they provided great service. The watches I wanted to view were as described by them online. So I knew the condition of the watches upon inspection. They were not up to my standard. I then found another watch on their website and made a 4th appointment to view, but only this time, I paid a deposit for them to reserve the watch for me. They did notify me the watch was at their CT branch and will be sent over to Pretoria for me to inspect. Watch arrived after a few days and once notified, I made appointment on the same day to collect it. Inspected it, paid and out in 5 minutes. They are definitely a reputable company and sell pre-owned watches at great prices. The service is amazing.
I was very reluctant on buying from any online store, not knowing what I'll get myself into. The communication with Elite Watches was very efficient. Sometimes that also can be red flags but when I asked to make an appointment and the address provided, I immediately knew I was dealing with a legit business. I knew I was going there to buy up to 3 watches and they were ready for me. It was in the condition as described, and I left a happy customer. ( 1 day post sale) Being a dummy in watches, I had one or two questions which was immediately answered via a telephone call. I don't think you can ever find a more reputable company, after reading my above experience.
The price seemed too good to be true but I took the risk and i can tell you this is a very professional company. The customer service is also really good , answered all my emails efficiently and were really helpful. Delivery was also done like pro's.
Bought a fridge and freezer from HIRSCHs end 2016, and about 3 weeks back the fridge doesn’t remain cool even at 1 degree. They appoint Mastercare to service the fridge, and the tech man tells me the gas has leaked. My old 10 year old donkey Samsung fridge hasn’t had a leak , and I had an even older Whirlpool (that this SMEG replaced for to energy efficiency) , that was working fine for over 10 years. Little over a week after a R1000 regas , and the fridge doesn’t work again, sitting at 1 degree and not even cool, forget cold. SMEG is rubbish , I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying this brand. Better off with a local Hisense brand. I await to see what SMEG SA does now after this persistent problem.
I cannot believe I how poor quality and pathetic Samsung really is. I was under the impression that Samsung is so huge, they will offer top quality products and amazing service. I purchased a Samsung Washing Machine ( WF1124) and the machine door rubber used to tear at least once every 6 months. During the warranty period this was fine. But once the warranty was up, I had to fork out a lot of money for the replacement. Insult to inury, they sometimes don't have stock and I have to wait up to 6 weeks. After 3 years of ownership, I see a 3E motor error, and ok no problem, theres a 10 year warranty on the motor. GUESS WHAT ! ? There is no Repair Centre to come and fix. So I have to either send it some the Repair Centre myself or Samsung offers to replace my machine, and I must pay in the difference. To add to this, I am waiting almost 2 weeks for them to resolve the problem. LG is far better than Samsung, and of course Siemens and the other german brands should be first choice.
<p>I had installed a 300L solar geyser for my son's room last year (around September i think ) , and had issues from day one where the water was not getting hot at all with Solar. The fortunate thing is i do not have an electric point to provide to this geyser so i can actually see how good this geyer really is. So after experiencing these problems, they managed to sort it out and i was getting hot water.</p> <p> </p> <p>I now decide to install a 150L for my domestics and for my one kitchen tap where we wash hands. I was told this 150L can service up to 4 people with hot water. It is almost a week since installation and my domestics did not get a taste of hot water, even though there is electricity provided to this geyeser. </p> <p> </p> <p>Since the weather is now getting cold , my son also tells me he only gets luke warm water in the mornings. So this is evident that Afrilanga geysers are poorly insulated and doesnt allow for the water to stay hot.</p> <p> </p> <p>My 150L is not serving as a solar geyser at all. I have a Solar Hart that is running off the grid for 3 years and even at 300L capacity, gives me boiling water, with 3 girls using the shower in 2 seperate bathrooms.</p> <p> </p> <p>I regret trying to save money , when all i did was waste it buying an inferior product. </p>
<p>Due to meeting my weekly goals , I receive my Reward with Kauai , and most of the time i choose to purchase at night as my snack.</p> <p> </p> <p>I go with my son and 3 girls , and due to the cold weather and security risk, i send my son in to purchase my drink.</p> <p>I send my son with my card to gain access to the gym as he is going to fetch MY drink, but the staff are refusing to allow him in. Now of course i understand that they cannot allow him to use the health facilities owned by VA , but just to go and fetch my drink from Kauai ? That is absolutely ridiculous. They would rather have me leave my small kids in the car and leave them in danger ( knowing that there was an armed robbery not too long ago at the centre).</p> <p> </p> <p>I am considering cancelling my contracts with this company and opt to use somewhere more open to assisting and helping out their clients.</p>
<p>The communication with JM via email was quick and efficient and the installation was done on time and</p> <p>I have not come across many companies with such good business ethics.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would recommend Royal Gas to anyone and everyone !</p>
My mother bought Almonds from the store and when she shared them with me , I noticed an insect crawling on the almonds. I didn't really worry about it until I inspected some almonds and noticed eggs laid in them.<br> <br> My mother when to speak to the supervisor or manager of the store and he was extremely rude to her and even accused her of storing the almonds in a DIRTY place. He actually hurt her feelings in so many ways. I will not accept this at all ! <br> <br> It is one thing acknowledging the problem, but it is something else when they falsely accuse.<br> <br> If this muppet of a person knew how many of our family members actually support this store, he would have kept his mouth shut. <br> <br> I hope the Spar head office can deal with this matter and put this poor example of a supervisor/manager to task.<br>
