I called to enquire about a personal loan, but during the call, someone from Nedbank changed the cellphone number on my Nedbank ID. I called to query, and my Nedbank ID/banking profile was suspended. I have had more attention paid to making sure I still continue with the loan application, but Nedbank has been dragging it's feet with regards to the suspension of my profile. I have logged a complain with reference number 66517864. You guys are quick to close a sale, but VERY slow to respond to complaints.
I'd give them zero if I could. I topped up my wallet with R277.60; the money left my account but my wallet was never credited. Emailed the info line but it's just silence from them. Had the exact same problem in 2019, but the money reflected into my account hours later. But what I remember from back then was that they wanted proof of payment with the account number I paid into, and would not take a bank statement. How am I supposed to get proof of payment when I topped up using the app? So am I just supposed to except that R277,60 of my money is gone, through no fault of my own? If you're going to make consumers jump through hoops to get refunds, at least make sure your app is prone to glitches.
Same old story. They lie about your insurance authorizing a tow, only to charge you upwards of R12K for one day of storage and a few kilometres of towing. They don't care, and neither does national management, which responds to reviews with the same vague message about reprimanding their drivers. Be very careful before you let these scumbags tow your car.
Impossible to cancel insurance with them. They just lie and say they sent you a cancellation letter when no such thing happened.
Very disappointed with the way my claim has been handled. Submitted a claim three weeks ago, and my claims handler has not contacted me even once. The senior loss adjuster has tried his best to keep me in the loop, but the same cannot be said about the claims handler. I am the one who has been calling Auto & General for updates. Even in terms of my car hire, I was initially given the car for 15 days. I called Europcar to tell them I was returning the car a day early, only to be told my insurer has extended my rental period for another two weeks? Surely this is no way to do business? My worry is that the senior loss adjuster is going on leave tomorrow, and that might cause even more delays. I'm disappointed in Auto & General.
MWeb and customer service don't belong in the same sentence. My parents signed up for a fibre deal with Vumatel, but the actual internet is provided by MWeb. My mother is the account holder, and her account has been linked to to her bank card. Her bank card expired last month, so MWeb couldn't debit for the fibre service. Instead of contacting her, they canceled her account. For the past two weeks, we have been sent from pillar to post by MWeb, desperately trying to reactivate the account. No such luck. One occasion, I held FOR 55 MINUTES. No one is willing to help. STAY FAR AWAY FROM MWEB
Very good at taking money but little else. Topped up my wallet and the funds refuse to reflect. Thanks for nothing.
I had a Covid19 test done on Wednesday 10 February. Called the accounts department two days later so I could get an invoice, as that is needed to claim reimbur*****t from my medical aid. After being put on hold forever, I spoke to an agent who said he would email the invoice to me. Nothing. Called again, was put on hold AGAIN, and told the system showed that the invoice had been sent to me, but still nothing on my side. The agent I was speaking to said she had sent it again, but still nothing.
I was a member of Discovery Health and Discovery Vitality. Cancelled my Discovery Vitality membership last year and my medical aid this year. Three days ago, I got debited R400 even though I am no longer a member. Debit order says DISC MEMB. Please solve this and refund me as soon as possible.
I lost a credit card two years and contacted Standard Bank to get a replacement. Checked my credit report and to my horror, they haven't done an ITC update TWO YEARS later. Absolutely unacceptable!
