This is a bad to good situation. I ordered a carrot cake online for collection at Fournos in Craighall Park (The Valley) on 24/12. The cake was available as promised but bottom line it was not great especially since I know how good that cake is. I lodged a complaint with the branch and was promptly called by Ayanda who offered to immediately replace the cake. Seeing as I didn't need one I opted for breakfast instead. I have to admit that the food and service was excellent! We all know that things can go wrong but it's how the business reacts that counts. So a big thanks to Ayanda who took responsibility and kept a long time client. 10/10
I had to program more remotes for an older garage door. The manual didn't help and not being a tech genius was stumped so I contacted Centurion late on a Friday afternoon through their technical WhatsApp line for help. I received immediate assistance from Juanita Rebello who spent almost an hour with me sorting my problem out. To receive such prompt and professional service these days is out of the ordinary and will certainly influence my future decisions when adding or replacing motors. A big thank you and well done!
This business has been charging to my Telkom account for services that I NEVER subscribed to. I have a data card in a MIFI with no cell involved which means I could NEVER subscribe. This is blatant ***** by BOTH TELKOM AND AKINGA and I will ber laying ******** charges against each respective CEO as they have either committed the crime or aided and abetted the crime. I will not accept this - I will not be a victim of crime and I will fight you to the END.
Good day I have been a Telkom client for years with a 10 Gib LTE data contract which I have renewed several times since inception. I upgraded my existing package to a 40 Gig LTE data contract and immediately upon inception *****ulent charges were lodged against my account labelled “Account subscriptions & once-off charges”. I queried with yourselves on 5 July 2023 under call reference clarence11:2005072023 (as I was told by the operator) and I was told that these were additional services that I had subscribed to. This is categorically not the case – I have NEVER subscribed to any service and have not received any benefit from anyone and as such this is blatant ***** committed by Telkom – If Telkom did not directly commit such *****, Telkom certainly aided and abetted the *****sters to ***** money from me. So a brand new contract and Telkom commits ***** from day one!!!! I point out that your agent was quite happy to tell me that I had to pay the money as I had subscribed to something that I didn’t and would send me the “proof” - WHAT PROOF? I NEVER subscribed to anything!!!!! The “PROOF” is still outstanding, the promised email or SMS never arrived. Your agent clearly either doesn't care about clients or doesn’t have the expertise to deal with this kind of issue and couldn’t refer me to a *****, Compliance or Legal division. Listen to the call – I was not polite but I’m sure you’ll get the just of what I’m saying. I further point out that even though Telkom is completely at fault in committing and or aiding and abetting crime I had to call Telkom I had to waste about 30 minutes of airtime being told nonsense effectively causing further financial damage. I once again place on record that I NEVER subscribed to anything – the SIM card is NOT in a phone but in a TELKOM MIFI Router which I’ve had for years. I will not pay these *****ulent charges and if deducted will reverse the debit order and cancel the contract immediately. I will NOT be a victim of CRIME and I will not support a ******** organisation! I will in any event be laying a complaint with the Regulator, the Consumer Protector as Telkom clearly don't have the systems in place to protect clients and this needs to change!
All I wanted was a part for my Chevy - I have called this bunch now 6 times over a period of about a week - left messages, even chatted to Pete in spares NOBODY has come back to me. Held for so long that I ran out of airtime - so spending my money for a SERVICE which doesn't exist and I'm meant to be the client. Still waiting for a return call - NOTHING. Can't get hold of the spares manager, dealer principal or regional manager. I repeat 6 Calls over a WEEK and STILL NOWHERE. This is probably a another case of SLAPGAT management and yes Mr Chetty as DP I hold you fully responsible! Absolutely PATHETIC - I don't care what these guys are selling, I'll find somewhere else or just buy another brand!! They don't deserve to be in business!
I've had enough now - your service is unreliable at best - the signal just vanishes and right now my upload speed is 0.1!!!!!!! I can't even stream music and this has been going on for days - up and down! Thanks to you I now live in the dark ages - I can't even send this complaint using your network, I'm on another network that I can't get rid of because your service is so ridiculously shocking. what's the point - I'm paying for a **** service if I actually have it! you've already moved me to another tower and given me another more fancy router and no real improvement. If I could find a replacement for your service i.e. pay as you go I would leave you TODAY!!!! If you know of anyone please refer me so that I can enjoy what I pay for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To make matters worse, you don't even reply to my complaints - just bad.
I have been trying to cancel my subscription since 7 May 2020 - I've tried whatsapp, the website message system, account login , calling, and the App. I haven't used the subscription since 2014 so have changed email address and it won't accept a password reset - NOTHING!! - I can't get hold of a human being to help me and NONE of the electronic options address the issue I want dealt with. This is my last resort!! You are pathetic and are stealing from me right now by not allowing me to cancel!!!!!!! Get this done TODAY or next I go to the regulator and alongside submit my bill for the time you have wasted!
I have bought a unit from Fabulous Homes in the Lynx complex and trust me when I say I will NEVER make that mistake again - My word of advice, if you insist on buying from them, DO NOT under any circumstances sign the bond and transfer papers until such time as the property is finished, ready for occupation and have had it thoroughly inspected for faults and preferably by a professional. They mostly build Sectional Title Schemes so you are within your rights to do this. Once you're committed, any sense of respect for you as the buyer disappears. At that point you're a liability. Further, make sure you get an Electrical Certificate of Compliance for your specific unit and not a blanket one for the complex as a whole. They took short cuts there to including poor or no earthing in plugs among other things which costs a fortune to sort out. Please keep in mind that you get a better warranty on the toaster you buy from PnPay then Fabulous homes! After a set period of days the property literally has to fall over and then maybe the NHBRC will make them deal with issues. Apart from that, as far as they are concerned everything is maintenance related, and NEVER their incompetence. Apparently severe rising damp is also maintenance related, the paint is literally peeling off the walls both inside and out. And lastly, do not believe the "low levy" sales pitch, scrutinize carefully as they may not be representative of the actual costs. This was certainly the case at Lynx where the levy costs increased substantially within a very short period of time as the budget was way under what was actually required. There is documentary proof to support all these comments which are factual in nature and in the public interest.
I've been a repeat client of Takealot since inception (in fact going back to the Kalahari days) and during the course of last week realised that I couldn't draw invoices for which I need for business purposes. I raised the problem which was a problem on Takealot's side and was duly corrected BUT in the meantime the cost of the product I was wanting to purchase had increased by several hundred Rands. When I queried this, they simply stated that their suppliers may change price at any point of time (quite correctly) and held themselves harmless. So mess up all you want and take absolutely NO RESPONSIBILITY - so guess who's now prejudiced - ME the CLIENT. Absolute lack of ethics and a middle finger salute to client centricity - clearly only there for you when there's no problem, otherwise watch out. they're NO better then the rest of the RUBBISH out there!
