I had a complicated with this institution really, it only operates with a WhatsApp, I was recruited two weeks ago as they noticed that I was under debt review. A lady who called me was very convincing and persisting that they will help get out of Debt review and still save R1300. 00 from my current plan with the debt review institution. So I was excited to save money. I never asked critical questions. They did some paper to submit to the bank and the debt review, well the following week which was on the 23 of June 2025 I received a call from the debt review company and they asked me that if this company is able to go that low how much will be allocated for each debt and for how many years. I didn't have that information and then I realized that I was misinformed so I decided to continue with the debt review and WhatsApp Mediate Life for cancelation. I want to be specific about this Lady who they say she is my portfolio manager her name is Roxanne. This lady was so rude to me and told me that i should have asked those questions upfront. So they debited my money and i asked the lady who recruited me that their money they can get it in installments but the insist that I speak with the Portfolio manager Roxanne, so I keep on saying I don't want to talk with her because of her unprofessionalizm and rudeness. The then told that I must talk to her and I mentioned that you're the one who recruited me so speak with her. So I couldn't get help because they run business with WhatsApp and no other alternative method of communication. Even nowhere to complain so I wanted people to be careful of this company called Mediate Life SA and the service they offer of debt restructuring which is not known where they claim that you are going to improve your credit score and still can make debt, but my question was the creditors are they not going to call me they said yes just to dismiss me but when I inquire about debt restructuring I could not find that in to existence. So meaning they are the ones who knows about this term debt restructuring which I think its a good idea but only if it was known and allowed which I can't say much about it. So the company needs to be honest and tell the people they are recruiting all the relevant information so that you're able to take informed decision.
I have been called by a lady who told me that they can assist in reducing my monthly installment in all of my debts . She explained how they can assist without me maintaining a good credit record and still be able to make debts if I need to .That was interesting and I decided to know more and then she told me that her manager may explained more and she will be the one assisting me . The lady called and do explained but what was the catch for me or the money I will be paying for the services was not mentioned. We did the paperwork and I was told that my first installment will be on February. During the process I was told that I'm on debt review and I had no idea about the issue .What was frustrating was they said I must find out which company registered me .I did not have any idea on how to go about it .That matter was not resolved according to my knowledge. I continue to receive calls from the creditors till today and I asked for clarification and did not received any response because the lady who was assigned for assisting me was no responding to my whatsapp messages . I tried to call to find out as to how far have they gone with this matter and the number took me to a voice message that said that I do not have an account with them . What worries me is that they already took the first installment and yet the creditors was not paid .It looks like I took a wrong decision and will like to cancel the contract with them because of lack of communication.
I ordered 5 items at Takealot October it took them full 3 weeks to deliver , only to find that they have delivered 3 items . I have received a dashboard camera review mirror which is not as it was advertised , so I called to complain I was asked to send pictures and I did so.Its now been two weeks since I upload the pictures as per their request but I haven't heard anything from them .Ad per this two items it a number plate reverse camera I haven't received them but on the Takealot app it looks like I have received all of them . Im very disappointed that for the first time I order at Takealot my items will be shipped like it's outside the country .What makes matter worse is the fact that I keep on calling and they will apologize but the fact of the matter is nothing happened .You are not being taken seriously . I'm angry that it looks like I thrown my money in the drain . This experience has taught me not to shop on line anymore especially at Takealot.Shame on you Takealot
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS COMPANY They are debiting money on my account and i do not have an account with them. I was called on the month of May 2021 they offered me a Cellphone we did an application . The amount for that cellphone was R259.00 that we agreed upon and the agent said the package will take 10 working days . Three days later i received a message telling me that my application was unsuccessful . Fair enough , month end of June 2021 and July they debited two amount R59.00 and R159.00 this amount i can't reverse it and the Bank advise me to call them . I TRIED TO CALL THEM SEVERAL TIMES I CAN'T GET HOLD OF ANY ONE . I WOULD LIKE TO WARN PEOPLE ABOUT THIS SCAM THAT THIS COMPANY IS DOING WHERE THEY LET YOU THINK YOU HAVE A GREAT DEAL AND LET YOU ACCEPT AUTHORIZE DEBIT ORDER .KNOWING EXCATLY THAT ONCE YOU APPROVED DEBIT ORDER THE IS NO WAY YOU CAN REVERSE THE TRANSACTION .
I'm very disappointed with this division of Homechoice , in 2018 i was called by a sales agent selling me a Laptop I took the offer because i was in need of it and it was so affordable . The next day i was called again by a supervisor confirming the sales that's when he made me aware that the laptop was a small laptop with a 32g of memory . So i decline the offer and then he told me they will cancel on their side . Now this year when i wanted to make a loan here it was appearing on my credit report .I called fonechoice on the 27 Oct 2020 again i made a call on the 05 Nov 2020 i was told that i will receive a cancellation letter via email within an 48 hours . Even today i have not received a cancellation letter . I have a reference for query (655059) . I'm very angry with their empty words so they must know that they have lost a client . Homechoice , fonechoice and finchoice . They must close my account since i do not owe them anymore.
I need an advice on buying a property , but what I need is to get an institutions that is cheaper and give cash .Like if I qualify for say R450.000 then I buy a property of R250 .000 and get the balance to buy a car and make renovations to a new property. If the is an institutions that can do that I'll be happy to hear from them and also looking for an advice as this is a big decision for me .I'm tired of renting .
I had difficulties with the system and the agents as to how they operate.I manage to settle my accounts which were handed over to MBD . On the 25 of September 2020 we arranged a discount for a settlement and i made an online payment and the agent asked a proof of payment and it was granted . I was told then by the agent that the payment will take 7 days to reflect .To my surprise i was getting sms and phone calls asking me to pay. Even my wife was also getting calls and SMS . I will be asked every time to send proof of payment .This is so frustrating now as to how many agents and managers must I email the proof of payment.On the 01 October 2020 I was told that a payment was received , few minutes after that even today I'm still receiving calls and SMS to settle the account . Now I don't know what to do to stop this irritating treatment .I call the agent who told me the payment was received she told me to ignore them ,I told her that my wife is also receiving the SMS and calls so she is beginning to doubt that either I made a payment to the wrong account holder or fraudulent . The other thing is that this Loans were more than 5 year old . Can anybody advise in this matter please .
I'm considering to bank with it , but the problem is the employees and manner in which they run their business , not sure if its all their branches but I felt disrespected as a client by the teller who asked me why don't I go and do withdwals outside . Then I told her I was directed no to go outside due to my ATM withwals she was having an attitude . I was very disappointed about the poor service I got afer waiting a long time while other employees are going up and down .
Capitec bank' s employees are more friendly and assist as best as they can. What I do not get is that as a client I have never qualified for a loan but when I get to other banks they are offering loans and more .Is Capitec bank credit rating so strict that they let some of their into the warming hands of other banks.I considering to live it and go to a bank that offered me a loan.They trusted me despite the fact that I'm not banking with them.
I always have a bad service ,my parcels was supposed to be delivered today ,I got an email saying the is no contact number but when I check on your mail I found that an old address also.I'm worried that it's now a norm that when I'm supposed to receive my parcel there is always an issue.Sometimes this year I was told to come at airport to collect my parcels.In 2017 my parcel was in Bloemfontein and had to be returned back to Cape Town .I have a serious problem with Bloemfontein Courierit it seems like customers are taken for granted.
