I sit here regretting why I went with Samsung, on the 05th of December 2025 I bought a 98” Samsung tv on Takealot, I have purchased 3 of them before and 4 of the 85” tvs from makro. The ones from makro have never given me any issues. I type this because Takealot products strike yet again. On the 18th of December 2025 the tv was finally delivered but upon delivery it was not tested and on the 19th of December 2025 the tv was installed and explora ultra connected. Undeniably on the even of the 19th the tv was working 100%. On the morning of the 20th we were watching Mr Bean the movie had finished as I was prepping myself to head out to work the tv began to spontaneously for spots at the top, I had even contacted Samsung South Africa because I was shocked how could a top of the range product do this and it has hardly even had 6 hours of being in operation, we tried every software update and followed all steps now I hear I can only be assisted on the 06th of January 2026 even after spending so much money. Because I know it will be a hassle I have decided to engage the NCC to open a case against Takealot and Samsung because honestly I can’t wait another 2 weeks for being delivered a lemon of a tv. Samsung and Takealot is just trash. Now I will not have a tv into the new year

BMW POLOKWANE (LMG) I am sure if this dealership could have it their way, surely they would make us pay for safety recalls. The nerve of them even telling me when they called that even the campaign parts have been ordered and then to discover the service advisor **** furthermore it’s not the first time even when my X7 was there with them for 2 months I was told parts are ordered and then they said whoever told me that gave a false report. So what has changed BMW polokwane where you still have a failing customer relations department and a failing service department because if I recall I was called and begged to provide the dealership am opportunity since they are changes but clearly things remain the same I took my vehicle in for the following issues; - Safety Recall (Campaign), which required an immediate action - Change of rear brake pads which was conducted and completed - I requested an oil top up - Sensor malfunction (PAID IN CASH FOR ULTRASONIC SENSOR), allegedly had to be replaced due to a stone chip. When it comes to 1 star it is too high for this dealership, google must make a slot specifically for this dealership to get no stars at all, I say this because it’s not the first time I have an issue with this dealership and I regret why I opted to re-engage them. I am no stranger to BMW polokwane and their poor service work ethics. When I see various reviews it’s a clear indication that this dealership has still not changed even under the current dealer principle. I would not recommend this dealership because of misrepresentation of facts and poor work ethics. I had to be contacted by BMW South Africa enquiring when am I taking the vehicle in for the safety recall to have the starter motor examined, tested and changed if needs be that it must be changed, I explained to them my car was recently in at BMW polokwane and I was assured that it was conducted the service advisor even stated they had ordered parts for the specific campaign and BMW South Africa then indicated to me that on their side they don’t see any record of the safety recall which indeed the dealership says it was not done and I must bring in the car today on 21 November 2025. This is not my first incident with this dealership hence we started to use BMW Centurion because they maintain professionalism unlike here in polokwane whereby you leave your car with them for a full week but they don’t fulfill what is important. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. If you want to deal with a bunch of ****s that focus on how they can dig in your pocket rather than use your warranty/motorplan then proceed to use this dealership. It doesn’t matter how long you leave your car with them, you must just expect half jobs and being **** to that parts are ordered next thing you know they either can’t assist you or you must pay. It’s disappointing and disgusting, furthermore discouraging to know that this specific dealership will not change. I now know that when they are done today I must take the car in at centurion for a pre-holiday check because there is nothing to trust when it comes to BMW polokwane. Do not purchase or service at BMW Polokwane. They prioritise profits over safety. And most likely to gain those profits I’m sure they can go as far as vandalism on your vehicle. There is no integrity, no ethical practice and according to me because I have experienced issues with the service manager it shows how poor the workmanship of the service manager since it’s the one and clearly even with the vast amount of reviews bmw polokwane will still retain the very same service manager and it’s concerning the amount of reviews but they can’t even take action against the service manager, is it a fear that he will expose the various malpractices within the dealership or are they just prepared to retain someone that generates profit for them even if it means overlooking safety. What’s funny is that now they are lying on record saying the inspection was conducted and parts have been ordered but yesterday when I received a call to bring in my vehicle on the 21st of November 2025 I was told that indeed an inspection was not conducted on my vehicle. I want to refer BMW South Africa to the google reviews against BMW polokwane and tell the public as to why they are not taking action against this dealership because there is a clear indication that post purchase people are struggling because of an *********** service department as well as an *********** service manager. I took the car in good faith giving the dealership benefit of doubt that maybe they have changed but it should be concerning in terms of their ********* practices I regret giving them another opportunity
I have had such a frustrating experience with Discovery Health medical scheme. I registered for a medical aid for my wife as of March 2025. It came as a surprise to me that every time we go to the pharmacy as well as lancet all of a sudden the medical aid doesn’t have funds even with minimal claims and 99% of the time we can’t claim from the medical aid and we are paying with cash but on the other side we are paying R4,8k for a medical aid that’s not working for us. The claim is they pay our gynaecologist and with all due respect he charges R2k per session and we pay for our own pregomega, which is a clear indication that there will never be a saving with discovery. You will be met with unhelpful representatives who seemed more in following procedure than resolving my problem as to where are the savings, there is a lack of transparency. I would not recommend discovery to anybody, I have withdrawn the medical aid effective immediately even though now they are trying to charge me for a full month on arrears. I won’t be surprised if they collapse, and I’m glad to see other reviews stating that no matter how advanced the plan is no assistance is provided and some way some how you end up having to use your own money even with a medical aid in place.
Post sales service is terrible, we purchased a Nissan patrol black hawk it is starting to become a journey of a nightmare. I explained multiple times that when the vehicle is in drive the rear right indicator lamp does not work I experienced this driving behind the car from Polokwane to Kruger National Park and back. When hazards were engaged when the vehicle was in motion only the rear left indicator was working when overtaking the right indicator lamp was as not working but the left was. I tried to explain this to the very rude service team that tried to make it seem as if I’m just blowing hot air over nothing, I assume maybe the term malfunction is not in their vocabulary because they would understand that it’s not an immediate thing that can just be tested in the workshop. A malfunctioning indicator can cause serious problem, it’s a high risk of accidents. Let me not even start and mention other issues with the car. Maybe they want an accident to occur. I’ll make sure I record my claims since they deem it unnecessary to check my vehicle
Wesbank financed a preowned accident vehicles on behalf of LandRover Polokwane/Limpopo as brand new. When I presented the facts on my claim Wesbank denied and even went an extra step to threaten repossession and auction of the vehicle if I don’t collect the car from the dealership even though it possess an endangerment to myself. I want to suggest to the public to not utilise Wesbank as they act as a cheerleader for these ******* dealerships. I want to make it a priority to expose Jaguar Land Rover South Africa, LandRover Limpopo and Wesbank. I’m not surprised now to see how many people actually go through such nonsense because of this greedy and ******* institution. As I continue my journey to expose them I can confirm Wesbank has blocked me on Facebook, they have reported my twitter account. They can’t even sue me for defamation because the facts are there, they are used to people threatening them and not taking action to question the authenticity of this ******* entity in the court of law. An entity that allows and promotes dealerships to produce *****ulent papers to us consumers on the basis of them wanting to have the financial gain in financing that item. I can’t say I am happy to see it affects other people because of the damaging state that this entity leaves people in, but I’m glad to see I am not alone under the circumstances. #Wesbankmustfall #LandRoverZAmustfall #LandRoverLimpopomustfall #MGMmustfall #Telegenixmustfall #SupergroupDealershipsmustfall
Good day Mr. Ramoshaba, Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to investigate your complaint. By signing the delivery receipt, you confirmed to the Bank that you have taken delivery of the vehicle on our behalf of the Bank and that you are satisfied with the vehicle. Furthermore, you signed an agreement with the bank for the purchase of this vehicle and based on your confirmation of delivery and the conclusion of the instalment sale agreement, the dealer was paid by the Bank. It should be noted that throughout the whole process of negotiating with the dealer and selecting the beloved vehicle the Bank was not a part of this process as the Bank only becomes part of the process when these negotiations are done, and the consumer seeks funding for the asset that they have selected. We would like to place on record that you purchased the vehicle in May 2022 with 79 km on the odometer, for your ease of reference we attach hereto the warranty certificate which evinces same. Further on this from the available documents provided to us by the dealer the last recorded mileage on the vehicle was 34,514 km. You have advised that the vehicle was advertised by the dealer previously with 1515 km on the odometer. You have not provided any substantial evidence that the vehicle in the advert is the same vehicle that you had purchased. Accordingly, please provide proof of these allegations. Regarding the alleged accident in transit, the dealer confirmed that they have no record of such an accident ever taking place in transit. The dealer has gone one step further and enquired with Corné Viviers from customer care at Jaguar Land Rover South Africa (JLRSA) who confirmed that they do not have such record. When JLR Polokwane received the Jaguar SVR from the VDS delivery truck, there was also no evidence of any damage. Accordingly, please provide proof of these allegations. We have noted that you had complained about the paint on the vehicle and the dealer had fixed the paint issues out of goodwill. Please refer to the date of the invoice 23/04/2024. Again, it should be noted that there is no substantial proof that these defects occurred prior to you taking delivery of the vehicle. Regarding the new / used vehicle, the dealership advised: “As per requirement of our Absa floorplan, after the Jaguar SVR was pre-reported on 31 January 2022, we had to settle the new vehicle floorplan, Natis register it and put it on our used floorplan. Irrespective of the registration document, it was still a brand new vehicle which Mr Ramoshaba has received.” The Vehicle for all intents and purposes is a new vehicle, if you are alleging that there was a difference in value, please provide us with this. Our IContact reflects sufficient information to identify the vehicle which is the Good description, VIN and Engine number, WesBank is not required to record the colour of the vehicle. Please note that you remain the owner of the vehicle and therefore you are required to collect if from the dealership by 28 January 2025, your failure to collect the vehicle amounts to abandonment of the vehicle and is in breach of the Finance Agreement. Should you refuse to collect the vehicle, WesBank has no other option to proceed with the necessary legal action for the return of the vehicle. We include the following documents • Delivery receipt • Warranty certificate • Delivery check list • Paint repairs • Service details confirming current odometer reading Imagine receive a response like that from a financing institution instead of properly investigating the matter on hand, and it has been reported proven that the vehicle is used and it can still be proven that at a point of time it was involved in an accident. I’m just warning that the above is how Wesbank will respond to you for their fellow dealerships that they collude with. We have never missed a payment and the vehicle has one of the best insurances in the country but we are threatened with legal action if we don’t collect a vehicle that we are paying for Is that not insanity
I won’t say much just don’t waste your time,
I find it really funny how they make employees and friends and family write positive reviews whereas the dealership is the worst ever filled with *****, *******ion and ********* business conduct. Imagine purchasing a vehicle with possible mileage ***** Imagine buying a vehicle that was involved in a transit accident and it was covered up and you are sold the vehicle as “brand new” and you discover a possible post of the same vehicle being sold indicating 1515 kms on odometer Imagine 2 years 34000 kilometres of consistent breakdowns and nobody wants to take accountability and blame and shifted all over the place because the truth has been exposed but responsibility does not want to be taken Imagine being treated rudely by members of staff just because you want matters of your vehicle to be resolved and furthermore undermined. Imagine always compromising to get a vehicle to move around because your R2,1 million which was overpriced on the basis of current revelations that I was sold an accident car which is preowned at the price of a brand new vehicle. The extent of rot and *******ion and *****ulent documents involves Jaguar Land Rover South Africa as well so don’t be surprised when you can’t get assistance. Those that still want to purchase their vehicles good luck you might just find yourself in my situation whereby you must take the legal route for rectification they can claim the car is repaired and it is still repairable but had I been aware of the circumstances I would not have purchased the vehicle also I’m not going to risk my life with that death trap because I don’t know the extent of damage if already the steering rack had to be replaced as well as wheel bearings in the first 2 months of ownership. If I touch on electrical issues such as the battery, the infotainment system and the keys not being able to read and you find yourself stuck at a mall I might just bore the public with these stories. I wish we could attach phone call audios as well so the public can know what to expect when it comes to problem solving through Jaguar Land Rover. I resent Jaguar Land Rover Polokwane and Jaguar Land Rover South Africa. May I add Jaguar Land Rover Polokwane is the worst retailer with the worst service. (Land Rover Limpopo). Be cautious when you buy cars from Land Rover Limpopo 1- Pre owned cars are overpriced you might as well go to the respective dealerships 2- they are good at misrepresentation because they work alongside their head office whereby complaints fall on deaf ears 3- they have bad client service post purchase 4- bad vehicle service matters on vehicles are never fully resolved I recommend you look for more reliable products It might have new owners but the work ethics remain the same they don’t hold any integrity To add on that Jaguar Land Rover (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd won’t help with anything. Land rover Limpopo over price and misrepresent their products I was sold a F Pace SVR as a “Brand new” which was allegedly involved in a transit accident which began to make sense why the car would have so many problems which Is what is making us pursue them legally for concern of safety and misrepresentation You would be wasting your time purchasing products from jaguar Land Rover. You will regret purchasing any of their products from month 1 just know you will have various mechanical and technical problems in my case wheel bearings, faulty infotainment system and from paint peeling Do yourselves a favour and go for different products a different dealership would not be the solution because in all the deceit and ****s they are in with it with their head office
