Stream services have been down for 4 days - when calling the call center very poor customer service received. Unable to tell me when issue will be resolved or give me contact details of someone who is able to assist. No service yet I am continued to be billed with no answer as to when my service will be reinstated. Cannot understand how DSTV continue to raise their annual fees yet a continued decline in their services.
(I wish there was a rating below 1 star) Poor service from the moment i submitted my application - what was meant to be an exciting experience, turned into the biggest nightmare. '' The agent that assisted me showed zero interest in actually assisting me. It started with me specifically asking to not submit application to my own bank as i was going to myself - they completely neglected my request and went ahead regardless. When i asked why: "oops, simple mistake". This of course now meant i had to negotiate through the incompetent agent, to my own bank. A nightmare which started off with my own bank rejecting my application! Communication so bad, i had to continuously follow up with the agent.....no reply or very late. I then myself had to reach out to the banks and ask for updates. Only to later hear that agent didn't furnish them with required info because client (me) was negotiating with another bank. In no way does that mean you should reject another bank???- i was negotiating with all banks, i have a right to. Its my say which bank i want to accept or reject. Anyways...further to that...the agent never once cared to explain to me what the process for a bond application was, what happens after, can i negotiate with bond reg attorney..not even advising me when do i get my cash back - again, i had to follow up! The incompetency was beyond what i have ever imagined. To sum it up ---- stay away, from my experience all they seemed to care about is getting their piece of the pie ....nothing more.
Service at entrance atrocious. Charging guest R50 just to have a look at the ride. Very disappointing.
SCAMMERS!!!! I cannot believe this people exist. They have now stolen R24000 from a pensionar living in an old age home. They sell computer software to pensioners who are computer illiterate. Doesnt even own a computer. Has never even switched on a computer is their life’s. Doesnt even understand what shares are. You steal from the weak at the most fragile time of their life’s. Then you pretend to be debt collectors and make them agree telephonically to paying you more money under the pretence that “you helping them to a better life”. How are these people getting away with this?
This number calls me every month 0124926455 asking to speak to an individual that isn't me. Every month i politely ask them to remove my number from this persons profile, they apologize and "assure" me they will do it immediately. Today i get called AGAIN , this time with an excessively rude person on the other side when i asked what company she was calling me from she answered with "Pretoria". I ask her to again please remove my number from this persons profile or let me speak to her supervisor so i can insure it gets done, she proceeded to murmur something (assumed another rude comment) and put the phone down in my ear. (Truworths credit department is who this number belongs to), you need to train your staff on how to speak to customers. I'm not a customer of yours but after today, i will never be one either. Also, would really advise you teach your staff that Pretoria is not a company, but rather the executive capital of ZA.
Poor communication - they were prompt to respond to my initial query but when I started to ask what sort of insurance they offer by collecting my device and servicing it at their workshop (they do not have a walk in store) all communication halted - I never again heard from them, not even to tell me that they don't offer transit insurance. Very disappointing for a potential new client.
Spent almost a year trying to figure out what was slowing down my 2011 Macbook Pro. My CPU usage was always above 70% even whilst idling, almost non-responsive. I had tried almost everything in the book before throwing in the towel and letting the pros handle it. After experiencing bad service from a well known authorized Apple reseller in Gardens i decided to put my trust elsewhere, Powerbite Technology! Totally deserving of all their great google reviews! Bjorn was relentless in his pursuit to fixing my MacBook Pro! Impeccable service during the entire process, always keeping me updated via whatsapp. Total relief to be writing this review on my revived MacBook Pro. Thanks Bjorn for making my problem genuinely yours.

DO NOT GET A TELKOM ACCOUNT - Even if you in a pit of fire and the only thing that will save you is signing up to Telkom – don’t do it! (its worth the read) I cancelled my account with Telkom 2 years ago. I received a notification that the cancellation reference number had been dealt with and will be closed shortly (should have known purely by the use of the word "shortly" that is was too good to be true in a Telkom context). Three months post my account had been cancelled and inactive, Telkom continue to invoice me. I call in to ask what’s going on, apparently my cancellation wasn’t reflecting on their system but i needed to rest assured they going to inform the accounts department "immediately" (another red flag word).Telkom eventually stop sending me invoices, I’m thinking GREAT, the nightmare is over. That’s until i get a call from Black & Associates wanting to know when I’m going to settle my account with Telkom (which by the way i no longer have because it was "immediately " cancelled). I get a hold of Telkom AGAIN, now after an entire year post my cancellation: “Don’t worry madam, we will correct the invoice and you can settle the correct amount which is only the 30day notification period and then we will send a notification to our credit management depart to de-list you. We will also send you a copy of the email”. Great fantastic (one would think if it were ANY other service provider in ZA). Another month goes by, another extremely rude phone call from Black & Associates notifying me that nothing has been settle. I call Telkom again: “Sorry mam, it seems the lady who helped you before (Ms LutiS) didn’t do a correct job so nothing was done – but hang on the line ill quickly draft the email and send it right away and also notify the manager. Within 7 days you will have a copy of the de-listing request and you will be de-listed”. But…here we are AGAIN, another month later, another excessively rude phone call from Black & Associates and still nothing done. I CALL TELKOM AGAIN: “Mam, I’ve just spoken to our accounts department, it seems since the query arrived at their desk three weeks ago, nothing has been done!” WOW! I asked to be put through immediately to the Head of the de-listing department – her name Charmaine Dafel. The agent wouldn’t put me though, instead I get given her direct line. I call over and over and over – and in true Telkom fashion – no one picks up to do their job. Telkom wont only attempt to steal your money, but they will steal your time and ruin your credit reputation simply because they are incompetent at doing their job and could not care less for their clients. Hopefully this will reach the right eyes and I will finally get rid of this nightmare!
Worst customer service you will ever experience. Officially boycotting any event that carries the Howler cardless system. You pay a non-refundable R20 for a card you can only use at that particular event (nice bank account to have after the event). Then you wait 9 months plus to get a cashout after sending numerous emails which (wait for it) they claim "they never received"...followed by "please check whether your emails were actually sent from your server"...this after i attached all my correspondence to them! (don't hold your breath if you waiting for an apology from Howler). Eventually they escalated my query to their finance department who "will process and take 7-14 days ro refund". Oh and guess what, there is no direct line to their finance department if you ever which to pick up the good old phone and follow up!! The only thing i am more disappointed about is that i can't give this company negative stars!
