Recently the bread stinks and is extremely difficult to eat. We are considering changing brands. Disgusted with the stink
I wanted to make an online purchase. Game has a policy where they meant to beat the price. I sent through an email with the necessary details and they acknowledged the email, however, it has been a week and there's no feedback. I sent a follow up email as well and there was no reply.
Spur Steak Ranches, Ballito gave me excellent service. The manager went out of his way to make sure that everything was over and above expected standards. I will definitely recommend this branch :-) The manager was very friendly and caring.
I'm very disappointed in Nissan. In May 2025 I purchased a vehicle with defects. I complained to the dealer principle as well as Nissan SA. The Dealer Principle, David Heennop, had a don't care attitude and even used second hand spares on my brand new Nissan Navara. Nissan SA ased me to take the vehicle to a Nissan dealership in Durban which I did. The first time round - that dealership apparently had no track of my vehicle coming in. I then took the vehicle again to Nissan Umhlanga. They noted the defects and the vehicle to date has not been rectified. The paintwork is defective as well as there are mechanical faults. Nissan has got an independent panel beater to inspect the vehicle who verified that the colors are inconsistent. It is only fair that the vehicle is replaced but Nissan didn't even bother to repair the faults or to get back to me.
Nissan has poor quality control. I have purchased a Brand New Navara in May 2025 and I am having endless problems with the dealer and the vehicle itself. The paintwork is terrible. The front bumper has blotchy paintwork. The Rear Right door is fading to a different color to the rest of the vehicle. This is over and above the dealer messing up the vehicle by taking the vehicle to a backdoor panel beater. There is also a noise when I turn the steering - like a klunk sound. I purchased a brand new vehicle not to have any issues yet I am constantly having issues. Disappointing!!! If Nissan doesn't sort out - I will take this to social media.
Nissan SA has no Standards. I purchased a brand new nissan navara from NTT Nissan Newcastle in May 2025. The vehicle had faults. The dealer principle refused to have the vehicle sorted out in Durban - he basically said that if I do not send it to Newcastle, he will not sort out the problem. I was unhappy for anyone driving my vehicle so I contacted Nissan SA. Long story short, Nissan SA told me that all dealerships are run independently and they cannot do anything. The dealership took my brand new vehicle, added about 700km. When the vehicle arrived in newcastle, the dealer principal, David Heennop, promised that the vehicle will be safely stored at NTT Nissan under the shelter. The workers at NTT Nissan used the vehicle for private use - the vehicle was stored in an informal location. The back bin had evidence that they had loaded stuff. The dealership put all used spares on my brand new vehicle. Nissan DOES NOT have good standards. Be careful what you buy!!!
I went to purchase something inexpensive from the work canteen and my card was declined. I knew that I had money in the account because I just deposited funds. I ended up paying cash and then proceeded to look at my app. I have a R112k limit. I was already on R109k. There was an unauthorized debit for R28,700 and Standard Bank let this go through. Now I can't access my R3,000 and I don't know when Standard Bank is going to reverse this transaction. Like many citizens - we live hand to mouth. And now I don't have any funds available.
The company has updated the software / app. I no longer am able to see if my premises has power or not. They "upgraded" but took out features that we already paid for.
I had an unfortunate incident where I need to claim from insurance. I took the vehicle to the assessment center. They gave a value of R 20k. I wanted the vehicle done by a certain panel beater, but outsurance said that they were not on their panel. I found a panel beater that is on the panel and received a quote which is realistically three times the price of their original assessment. I have been continuously calling outsurance to try and get the claim approved - and they keep saying that the claims person handing my claim isn't available. I leave messages and nobody gets back to me. Ridiculous service!!!!
NTT Nissan customer care is a waste of time. This is the ONLY brand that was not helpful. I purchased a brand new vehicle from NTT Nissan Newcastle - the dealer principle is David Heennop. They supp**** a brand new vehicle with multiple defects. I wanted the vehicle replaced but they said they want to repair. I am from Durban. They refuse to let the repair happen in Durban. They want to drive the vehicle to Newcastle, add 800km wear and tear and risk to the vehicle to repair. If there is an accident - they will simply say sorry and repair the vehicle. Disgusting service. People should reconsider the Nissan Brand. My request was simple - get the repair done at a Nissan in Durban.
