I hired Glassmen Retreat 3-4 months ago to replace some some leaking seals on two upstairs aluminum windows. They completed the work and I settled their account timeously in full. However barely 3 months after they walked away, the one window seal started leaking again during an afternoon rain downpour. After notifying them accordingly and being told they would send someone out to assess, they never did anything further to resolve the issue. All subsequent emails to date have been ignored. In hindsight, I wish I had listened to my contacts in the building industry and stayed away from these unprofessional people and their sub standard workmanship. If anyone out there does decide to go with Glassmen Retreat and their work fails in due course, don't bother trying to resolve the issue amicably with them. They simply don't care, offer zero after sales service all of which is clearly evident in their non existent response when problems arise. After supporting them over many years with other services on offer, I will never do so again. Seems certain people and their businesses have no shame taking other peoples hard earned money and providing them with shoddy sub standard workmanship. Businesses like this should simply pack up and move along into the nearest ******* dump where they belong.
I cancelled my contract with Cell C last year and received sms confirmation from them on the 31 July 2024 that my number has been cancelled from my contract as requested. Earlier this year I app**** for credit with a bank and was subjected to a credit check. Imagine my surprise when the results were made known to me, specifically that Cell C claim I am in arrears for 6 months on my cancelled contract. Yet for all their claims, not once have they sent me any communication or attempted to call me or otherwise requesting settlement. The simple reason for this is that I owe them nothing. The bank then stated I would need to obtain a letter of good standing and/or an account closure letter from Cell C which I first attempted to do on the 4th April 2025.After been told someone would contact me in 1-2 business days, nothing ever happened. Over the past 6 weeks I've sent Cell C numerous emails (which are never responded to) as well as phoning them several times. Each time I'm told the same story .Cases are simply closed by Cell C without advising you, resulting in me having to open yet another case. The last response I obtained this past Monday was that my account is in credit and that Cell C in fact owe me money. Yet despite all this, this impasse remains and nothing happens. Can Cell C not issue me a letter of good standing so that my credit score can be restored accordingly? It appears not to be the case with all the merry go round they persist with. No doubt a hollow apology will be issued yet again by Cell C with little to nothing been done about providing me with the original request. I have even contacted ICASA who stated they cant do anything as its beyond their jurisdiction. They in turn put me in touch with the National Consumer Commission whose phone and email services do not connect with consumers at all, despite repeated attempts. It therefore seems I will need to employ a lawyer to sort this out as I've exhausted all the channels on offer. This whole episode justifies my past decision to cancel my contract with Cell C-they certainly don't deserve my hard earned money anymore than the next person. Were zero stars on offer for their non existent service , that would have been my submission here.
Be warned-if you have an issue with payment of customs duties, their call centre staff are to be avoided at all costs.Awful, unhelpful *********** persons who have no idea on how to serve their customers to say the least. Consultant Cello advises and confirms he has received my payment confirmation and then denies it 5 days later, resulting in even more delays. Their own email payment links do not link with their financial systems resulting in further unnecessary delays as well as the customer having to provide proof of payment for credit card payments set up and carried out as per UPS protocol . Rather use another courier company-I will never use their services ever again.
A friendly warning to those who shop online groceries using the Checkers sixty60 app. Wallet balances are incorrectly calculated and when reported are disputed by their cantankerous, unhelpful staff. Do not order goods where the final invoiced amount price is calculated differently to the original amount ordered as this is where mistakes are made and you end up being out of pocket. Nothing less than daylight ******* here mixed with Checkers arrogance that they themselves never make mistakes themselves.
Worst experience ever!!! From numerous attempts via their Whatsapp and live chat channels plus spending over an hour on the phone to validate a simple payment,these poorly trained people are useless and *********** in every sense of the word(s) .Calls are not returned despite their assurance thereof plus any info they issue remains invalidated and incorrect. Each and every time i try to sign in on their app,i get an error message despite the device i'm attempting to sign in on.After failing to receive the channels i paid for,i was told there was a technical issue that they were working on.Surprise surprise,the problem has still not been resolved 2 days later. This is the problem with monopolistic type companies-their service can be shoddy as ever since they know people have nowhere else to turn to for the same service.A truly broken company with broken network systems and managed by *********** poorly trained people unable to assist customers.They have absolutely no business been in business in the first place.75% of complaints on this platform are 1 star in nature-that alone speaks volumes thereof.
Affordable and comprehensive range of products on offer but the delivery process needs to be sped up considerably.
Excellent after sales service from Jannie Lubbe, their technical manager who really went the extra mile in attending to all my after sales enquiries and issues. So refreshing that service like this still exists in these times where few companies are able to reciprocate likewise. I will happily spend my money at Geewiz for any future purchases and apply the discount coupon they so generously afforded me next time i do so.
I wish i had read the reviews on this site before purchasing from TEVO. Zero after sales service or support.No response to my emails,bad attitude from their staff when you finally get through to them which begs the question-why are they in business in the first place? 75% of reviews are 1 star-let me justly add to that figure.Stay away from them and their substandard products.
I recently placed my first online order through New Balance and sincerely regret i did so in the first place.From incorrect payment allotment issues with Pay Flex to been pushed from pillar to post for all their mistakes and lack of accountability ,this has been nothing short of a harrowing, stressful experience.Even certain buttons on their website are non-functional,which resulted in an unnecessary refund process.Unsubscribed from them and will never place another order with New Balance again.
25W solar light with panel arrived with a loose reflector plate not fixed in place as it should be for a brand new flood light. After waiting over a week for my order to arrive,i was in no mood to submit a long winded return and reluctantly opted to accept the unit with its loose reflector plate.Unfortunately its also not as bright as claimed and certainly does not light up a 70 square meter areas as falsely advertised.Pretty disappointing experience all round after patiently waiting for the item to arrive.
