What a terrible post sale experience. I took out a new contract with Telkom. I explicitly asked the sales consultant if my existing prepaid number can be ported to the new contract number. He assured me that is was no problem I should just go to a Telkom store as soon as I receive my device and new sim and they will happily assist. What a nightmare it has been ever since. Went to 3 different Telkom stores, none of which can help me and every single one with a different story. Spoke to numerous consultants at Telkom customer care, all of which also have a different story. Cancelling my contract now.
A Hisense 70" was available on takealot at a very good price (delivery within 4-6 working days) which we then bought two of. Takealot then informed us the next day that te Items advertised are no longer in stock at the supplier and that our order was canceled. However the exact same tv is still available on Takealot but at a much higher price. Takealot therefore realised that they made a mistake with the lower price advertised (we knew this as this was the kind of "too good to be true" scenario) but still we decided to buy two tv's because takealot advertised it as such and showed that they were available. Section 30 (that deals with advertised prices) says this: “A supplier must not advertise any particular goods or services as being available at a specified price in a manner that may result in consumers being misled or deceived (about) the actual availability of those goods or services from that supplier, at that advertised price. “If a supplier advertises goods as being available at a specified price, the supplier must make those goods or services available at that price.” If the supplier runs out if stock, it can source elsewhere the same or equivalent goods of the kind advertised within a reasonable time, in a reasonable quantity, and at the advertised price" Takealot misinforms their costumers and are then dishonest about the reason the order was cancelled. Very disappointed in them (and I was a regular customer unfortunately 😔)
We have an employer provident fund with Alexander Forbes. The customer service has just been non existent for the last few months. No one bothers to answer a telephone (called on numerous numbers on numerous occasions) and no one bothers to reply to any emails sent. They make changes to our billing statement without informing us and when I try to query it, there is just no feedback. Truly horrible customer service.
Poor online service. I placed an online order on 29 November 2023, they attempted delivery on 1 December which failed. It has been a nightmare ever since for an attempt of redelivery. Had to call them non-stop to ask when redelivery will take place, eventually received an SMS on 7 December to say WumDrop was on route. Next moment I received an SMS to say my order was delivered??? Signed by a "Thato Mo***eng" who I don't know from a bar of soap. Not one person is willing to assist and explain to me what is going on.
I have been struggling non-stop for over two months to receive my Fasset Certificate from ICB. I had to pay R150.00 for them to Paxi it to me, after numerous follow ups and bogus feedback from them (providing me with a tracking number that doesn't exist and promising that I will receive an SMS within the week of the feedback) nothing has come from it. Absolute ridiculous service!!
Wow!!! Weelee really came to the party with helping us to sell our vehichle. We tried numerous other companies within the same industry but no one came close to Weelee's offer. We are truly grateful for the excellent service received from Ivan and Chelsea in particular who continuously followed up with us and made sure we got the best deal possible! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Worst customer service ever!! We bought a bicycle rack online which was delivered on 23 December. The item was however faulty and we have been struggling ever since with Game to get this item refunded/replaced. We called numerous times we sent emails numerous times. No response or feedback!! Complained earlier on hellopeter and got a response from one Abdul Petersen on 6 January 2021 profusely apologising and promising the matter is getting attention. Been a week later and still no one has called or helped with our refund!!! Game - is this the sort of service you provide to all your customers????
Poor customer service from Game. We made an online order of a bicycle rack which was delivered on 23 December by Dawn Wing. However when we opened it the box was damaged and packets were torn open to remove items. We called and emailed Game numerous times without any feedback on how to resolve this. Really poor poor service.
MTN WONDERBOOM JUNCTION - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We have an existing contract with MTN and was looking to take out a new contract for our Domestic Worker. Went to MTN at Wonderboom Junction on 21 June 2020, said they had no stock but they will get everything ready and order the phone (Huawe Y5 lite) we will be getting it during the course of the week. Got one call from MTN that said they had tecnical difficulties and struggle to process the order. Went back to MTN on 28 June 2020. New guy helped, we asked what happened to the phone that would have been ordered for us, response "sorry we sold it to someone else"....Okay so we tried again, got the process running again we were told everything is ready and set up for the new contract, phone will be delivered to the shop the next day (Monday). Called MTN during the week, they have no idea what we are talking about??? Got a call from some guy during the following day, said he will find out what is going on. No further correspondence. Went back to MTN Wonderboom today (3 July 2020), lady says sorry she can't help us - should come back at 14h00 as shop is under new management and closes between 13h00 & 14h00. This is by far the worst service ever received, truly ridiculous. Will be going to Vodacom or Telkom to take out a new contract then.
Online order was placed on 2 December, received email on 12 December to inform me that my order is out for delivery and will be delivered before 5pm. However nothing gets delivered. Call customer service who's only response is they don't know what happened and it will be escalated and someone will call me back within 48 hours. Asked why they will send me an email to say it's out for delivery just to hear "i don't know". Worst service ever....
