Well 1st off, now that I have recovered from the food poisening I can post a review. When we sat down I should have known we were in for a bit of issues. The table was dirty, no new cover put on, nothing. But this was ok. We ordered 2 x combos'for the kids, a platter for 1 for me and a ****load of sushi for my wife and I. The combo's were cold, how? They came in pans...The girls only had the prawns and halloumi cause the fish bites smelled too fishy for them... My platter for 1 looked more like a anorexic version of the platter from 2 years ago. My squid heads were so chewy, my prawns were raw and had no butter on. My line fish was smaller than the palm of my hand. The sushi was a train wreck, what rice were you using? It was all doughy and not tasty at all. Everyone at the table was fine the next day, except me, I had the kids fish bites, which I agree, was a bit too fishy for me. Low and behold the next morning I felt like dying, I had come down with a horrible case of food poisoning. It was definitely the fish bites, no one in my family had anything else. This was ****py, really, from a Ocean Basket, at the grove nogal. I will definitely visit a different fish monger next time.
So I usually have great times at BK, but the last 2 times at the Lifestyle centre branch has been less than great. The 1st visit 2 weeks ago, the loaded fries had 2 jalapenos on and almost no cheese. My big king xl was super lop sided and had so little sauce on. A week ago I go there after work and the front door has an issue, I stood there for over 2 mins tyring to open it, with the staff just walking by and not helping. I turned around, got on my bike and went to McDonald's. My kids love this place, I hope this is not what we can look forward to expect in future...
I visited the Lifestyle Centre branch in Centurion last and received great service. The food was brought to my table very quick and the quality of the loaded fries was awesome. For someone that have had one or two bad experiences at this branch, I was super impressed. Very clean and great staff~!
Received my cap this morning, 11day lead time. The quality is great and the workmanship very good. A bit of work can be done on communication, but I am used to the 10 day lead time by now.
Took my family to Milky Lane at Mall @reds on Sunday morning. The service was excellent and the ice cream and waffles were great. Very good store!!
I dont know who at Bonitas owns shares in Marara pharmacy, but this is an absolute joke. Thousands of complaints and nothing has been done. Ppl all over SA have not received their chronic meds on time. What brain surgeon made this decision? I smell *******ion from a mile away.
Took my daughter to the Lifestyle Centre branch in Centurion last weekend. She loves the BK lounge. We used the app for some special offers, and was treated so well by the staff. The food was on point, so fresh and tasty. Loving burger king!!
I am at my wits end. I have lodged numerous calls with VC and still they have not been able to sort out a simple query. The new semester starts Monday and they have not loaded my outstanding module. Their phones are automated and is never answered and they do not solve their queries. To be honest, i think it might just be better to transfer to a different institution of learning. Below is a post i placed on their fb page, no responce, and a mail i sent when i logged a new ticked. Good day How is it possible that I have raised 3 queries and still my issue is not solved? Reference Number 948634, Reference Number 939892, Reference Number 932847. The semester starts on Monday and still Bus Man 1B is not loaded on my portal. How is this still not solved?
So...with the exception of lecturers not arriving on time or arriving at all for that matter on numerous occasions. I and some other students have suffered the same issue with our SAGE assignments and Exams where the Lecturer could not locate our assessments. Neither were we informed nor would we have known if we had not checked for ourselves...I was under the impression we receive notifications when marks are loaded, or is this just when your IT dept remembers? Now we have gone past our exams and low and behold the same issue has occurred again. How can this happen again? I have spoke to some other students and they like I ticked of section by section on our exams to make sure the details were there to ensure the work could be found. I have checked on the sage site, its not there anymore. I paid my tuition cash, before it was due, and to be honest I was looking at completing my Bcom with you, this will now seriously be reconsidered, including signing some of my staff up for short courses. Disappointing...to say the least.
This company is so incompetent and they employ staff who do not understand the basic principals of accounting. We have a parcel in Mafikeng that needs to be returned. We asked them for an invoice so that we may pay, we supplied the Comp details etc. They refuse to put our company details on as the "Invoice to" client, it is rather The Courier Guy billing The Courier Guy Mafikeng. What the hell, they expect us to pay the invoice but refuse to put our details on the invoice. You cant get hold of their accounts department, they will keep you on hold for ages and then just cut you off. I guess the courier guy prefers to spend tons of cash on pretty ad's and nothing on actual service.
