Lack of communication
I placed an order online via the Nandos app on the 4 March 2024 for delivery. I paid for the order and used a voucher that I had. The app did not give me an option to select a store closes to me, it chose a Nandos store in vantage. 10 mins before my order had to arrive I received a call that they do not deliver in my area. I was annoyed at this point as I was extremely hungry but I understood. Nando’s vangate gave me a call and said that I had to email them my banking details so that they could refund me which would’ve taken place on the 6th of march. I emailed them the 8th and the 11th of March to find out how far along the refund process was and too this date I have not received any feedback whatsoever.

Excellent service and food
I had lunch at Glen Carlou, and chose the lamb shoulder from their autumn menu. The food is definitely 5 star quality, as well as the excellent efficient service from our waiter Cameron Fortuin. Thank you for your service with a smile and for going the extra mile for our table. You will definitely see me soon. 💯

Brolls service is pathetic. We pay a lot of money for levies , yet no one responds to emails or calls.

Horrible service
Telkom is the worst service provider. I’ve been calling for the past 3 months regarding the cancellation of my contract. Every time I call, the agent gives me a different story. I can’t wait to be done with them.

Breakfast pizza
I called panarottis n1 to place an order for breakfast pizza. I waited an hour and a half for the pizza. When I received it , it was cold and stuck to the box. The box came off with the pizza and I couldn’t eat it. Definitely will not be seeing me anytime again.

6 wings instead of 8.
I ordered roco mamas n1 city via bolt. I ordered 8 hot wings and only got 6, however I paid for 8.

Disappointing food
I bought a gourmet burger and cheesy steak nachos at flambos in Parow on Friday. The chips that came with the burger was cold, the gourmet burger had plastic in between the patty and the garnish. The steak of the nachos was salty. I called the manager to inform him and he was not apologetic at all. The entrance of the restaurant was filthy with papers lying on the floor, and the couch in the waiting area was sticky. I will never order food there again.

Snail
I bought cut and ready to use spinach at checkers n1 city. When I opened the packet I found two snails in the bag. I am extremely disappointed and won’t easily buy fruit and vegetables again :(

Cheesy goodness
Hello peter. I'd just like to share my new found love of the chilli cheese bite's at N1 city;cape town. I had them for the first time on the twentieth of August,i immediately fell in love so did my future husband. The scrumptious outside ball being bitten into,its warm cheesey chilli centre filled with just the right amount of zest to make your mouth want more. I'd definitely give recommend it as a 10/10 slap in the mouth. As a bonus the drive through was full but it went by in a flash,even if it didn't, by the power invested in my words it was worth every second of the wait.
