I have been following up on a benefit for my son, whose father passed away two months ago. Despite the fact that my child is still studying, the payments have stopped. The call centre insists that I must prove I am alive, yet after numerous calls the system remains non-functional. The representative in Durban has been blunt and unhelpful, and this marks the third month of reaching out with no resolution. Why should we continue paying into Workman’s Compensation when they are clearly unequipped to assist? We pay our taxes, yet government departments seem to become increasingly ineffective.
Worst service they delivered my parcel to the wrong address and someone signed my name *****ulently it’s taken 4 calls and no one can assist with recovering the item. I cannot believe it’s taken 3 days of me calling them and how do they verify that you without identification. Then I receive mails it was delivered next door I don’t have a next door. Horrific service from Makro and the courier company
I ordered various expensive items from them. One item was delivered to the wrong address and someone signed but it’s not my signature and *****ulently signed my name. 6 call to Makro with no help just log a return on the app. I’m on hold 45 minutes this morning for a delayed delivery and they are the worst. Then disconnect my call after holding for 45 min
I ordered a courier this morning. They got to my office and gave the receptionist the wrong name and left. The driver never contacted me and the parcel is missing 1200 and they take 24 hours to answer you? The driver does not answer and I cannot locate my package. Uber has no telephonic service in South Africa
The new pods are ******* the flavours are not the same. I can only use the berry mix and the new pods are 10 times sweeter and they leak. I complained that I have 4 devices at the Balitto store and the regional manager was no help tells me it’s a global change. How does a flavour change? Are they producing it cheaper now and the customers are suffering for it. Absolute *******.
I bought a couch from them and the fabric is tearing. I have tried contacting them and all the lines don’t work
They **** people and each consultant just wants you to deposit money and finish tasks which are never ending. You will loose your money as the tasks cost a fortune. The tutors are robotic and have no skill or answer direct questions. Don’t get ****med by these *******
Virgin Active constantly debits my account wrongly. They then hold me liable for payments, I have made numerous calls to the call centres and my membership is blocked even though I have honoured my commitments. I have called the call centre manager and the call centre on numerous occasions and they ignore me. I cannot go to the gym as they unblock my membership constantly the call centre manager Izrah Rossouw and she ignores me. Last month I was debited wrongly and I had to call again.
I took my car to the car wash and they broke the sun roof. I submitted a claim with Discovery, they requested I take the vehicle to the assessor I did so and they told me they could not assess the damage and would write to discovery. After weeks of no response I called to find out that the claim had been closed as the assessor said the damage was less than the access. When I told the consultant that I had taken the vehicle to other parties I was asked to take the car to VW and they expected me to pay for the assessment? The consultant then said I should get the report from the people which I did. Yesterday I received a mail saying they want a report from VW again and that I need to pay in order for Discovery to decide whether they would pay the damage? The service is appalling in the interim the rain is damaging the vehicle. If I did not pay my premium they would not cover me. Disgusted by the service they doing nothing about the claim but sending the admin back to me the whole time. I’ll be taking the matter further and will not leave it
I placed and order last week Saturday Mr D debited my account and the restaurant went off line. I never received my order but they took money out of my account. I have written numerous mails with no response. I want my money returned
