It is Tuesday 15.00 and we have been without power since Friday. They know the cause. One of THEIR transformers need to be repaired/replaced. But we are not a priority as it is only 2 plots, a church and a cell phone tower. We are the last property before an open veld and then a squatter camp. We have had high crime including 4 highjackings in front of our entrenched. All our security is off as we are do l9ng without power but do they care? That's a hard no. But pay your bill a bit late and their is always somebody available yo cut ypu off. Disgusting service.
Our bond attorneys have been trying to settle an amount that is owed by us to R Daly so that they can pay out a settlement amount.. it has been 3 weeks and we cannot get R Daly to furnish is with a settlement statement. This puts us at huge risk with our other settlement as our bond money cannot be released untill R Daly is paid in full. We have the money ready but no one is prepared to give us the statement we require. No one answres e mail. You can't get past the switch board... what do we do??. I Seriously would NOT recommend R Daly attorneys.
My mother has a Nedbank account. She has recently been diagnosed with Dementia and also has infazeema. She is in a wheel chair and is permanently on oxygen. We managed to get her into the bank(which was not a small feat) in order to give my Dad signing power on the account so that he can access the account. The debit card now expired. My dad went into the bank to get the new card. No. My mom has to come in. The waiting time is so long that her oxygen dropped down to below 70. No one cares. What is the point of getting signing power?. Pathetic service. My mom's health issues are serious. They don't even try to make a plan to help. Disgusting.
I am absolutely disgusted in th service that I have received from Takealot . On 31 August 23, I ordered some 100w LED solar lights. They were sold as a pack of 2 for R770. I ordered 2 of these 2 packs. I paid R1540 and was expecting 4 lights. On 7 September, I received a delivery of 2 lights. I immediately, on the same day, logged a report that I was missing 2 lights. I went ahead with the instillation of the 2 lights that I had received as these were correctly delivered and were what I had ordered albeit half my order. I ********ly awaited the other 2 lights to be delved On 11 September, I received a reply from Takealot informing me that I would need to return the lights and log a 'not what I ordered' return. I rep**** that it was exactly what I had ordered and that it was already installed. Mails have been running to and from since than with various different people including Jody, Lutholwethu and Aqeeb who all told me they were awaiting feedback from suppliers. We are now on the 15th of September and I have been told that if I want to receive my outstanding lights which I paid for already in August, I will need to remove the 2 lights that I correctly receive and return them in the original packaging. I asked Aqeeb if he could give me a guarantee that if I did this I would then receive my 4 lights that I ordered on 31 August and I was shocked when he rep**** that he could not guarantee this as they have a 7 day return policy. Shocking, shocking, shocking. My advice is that if you choose to use this service, open every package on delivery and check it and if it is wrong..... don't expect any help of success., I am now out of pocket the R1540 that I paid for the product, also the fee I paid to a handy man to install and now uninstall the lights and.. .. I have no lights! and no guarantee that I will have any success. DISGUSTING
I am absolutely disgusted with Standard banks service. I need to check a payment on my credit card statement. They have not e mailed my statement as they are supposed to do in ages. I phoned them and I cannot pass the security check because I don't know what my limit is. I don't have ANY correspondence from them where I can check this. Basically they don't do what they are supposed to do and I am penalized for it. Absolutely useless.
I ordered pizza through Uber Eats from Panarottis at forest hill mall. I placed the order around 17.45. It initially told me the order would be delivered at 18.30.. A driver waa assigned but then there was a problem and then it was assigned to another driver as so it went on with about 5 different drivers. The delivery time went on to 19.50 by now. We got in the car and drove to the resturant. When we got there we found that due to loadshedding the resturant had no power and had not made the pizzas at all. The owner told us that they had declined the order as they were not able to produce them. All the drivers had pitched up to fetch the pizza but obviously there was no order to fetch. Basically Uber Eats had wasted my time and the time of many drivers by simply not letting me know that I needed to choose another resturant as Panarottis could not accept the order. Disgusting!
I went for a covid test yesterday, Tuesday 30 November at Lancet mall@reds. My appointment was at 10.30am. Ithe doc assured me I would get an sms with my result that evening. It is now 17.34 on Wenesday 1 Dec and i still have no result. I am obviously isolating buy are we expecting to take off work for 3 days and possibly have a negative result? I can see how this virus is spreading because I am tempted to just continue my life. I am trying to be responsible as I had mild symptoms but it could also be a common cold. How long are we supposed to put our lives on hold while waiting for a result? I went onto the Lancrt app. It was last updated 30 Nov 2.q3am. I need better service
I contacted SB Insurance today regarding a 30m section of wall that fell down during a storm last night, exposing us to the veld completely. They told me that my excess is loaded by R1000.00, putting my excess at R2 125.00. When I enquired what it was about, I was told it is due to 2x claims that were "not proved to be completed(!?)" (2016 and 2019). I pay my account every month, and nobody has ever contacted me about this. At no time was I informed that there is any requirement for me to do anything to "prove completion". I was then told that the work would take no more than 10 days to complete. We are sitting on the edge of Civilization looking into a veld. We are already located in a hotspot, and now this. How can we be expected to be this vulnerable for that long!? Standard Bank Insurance, really..?
I have been a loyal client for 20 years and my account has always been in good standing. Now with Covid 19, my business has been forced to close for lockdown and I'm trying to apply for an overdraft facility, to cover me in case of emergency. For 3 weeks standard bank have been telling me they will get back to me. Every time I phone they say that someone will contact me within 34 hours and I never hear from them. I demanded to speak to someone this time, but after 17 minutes on hold, the call cut! The matter has apparently been sent to my personal banker in Fourways, but he has never responded.
