What a disappointment. THIS LODGE WILL NEVER SEE ME AGIAN Firstly, the personnel at the Lodge have no idea what it means to be friendly. They are under the impression that visitors, are doing them a favour to use the Lodge. There is no proper Inventory Sheet for the contents of the Chalay’s. YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO CHECK THE CONTENTS YOURSELF. (WITH WHAT INVENTORY LIST ???) Twenty minutes after our departure’ a Lady from the Lodge phoned, and indicated that two beer glasses were broken. (This was not the case; we never broke any glasses) This is now the best part. We damaged a dust scoop. I for one never saw this item. What followed is a Joke. Paying around R50.00 for a Glass that is worth around R3.50 The Showers are not cleaned properly The Bedding smells rotten. At the Restaurant we (3 People) ordered Fish. All three portions were still frozen in the inside. WHEN VISITING KIARA LODGE ENSURE YOU CHECK THE INVERTORY

Trying to reset a password online with HIKvision South Africa is nearly impossible. After Six days, 13 e-mails and numerous phone calls to their call center, the password on the DVR is still not reset. A request from the call center was that the unit should be tested, as it could be faulty. After asking a colleague to travel from Vanderbijlpark to HIKvision in Johannesburg, I was informed that I had to take it to the supplier, that sold me the unit. The representative requested a serial number to clarify who the supplier was. I could not provide it telephonically: (I have sent this to them via e-mail. One mistake I made was not saving the E mails sent to Hikvision) How is it possible for the unit be to faulty if it is connected and all the cams are showing on the screen??? The is not a user friendly system, and after sale support is insufficient. AM I THE EXPERT ON THIS SYSTEM OR IS IT THE REPRESENTITAVES OF HIKVISION THAT SHOULD BE THE EXPERTS ??? I will now purchase a new system, to resolve my problem. IT WILL DEFNITLY BE NOT A PRODUCT OF HIKVISION
