Most items are never delivered. Those that are take too long. Claims of tried to deliver are not true. Contact numbers given for carrier do not exist. Save the frustration and money - buy South African.

Waste of time.
Four simple electrical items for sale. Two responded and all couldn’t get to a sale - failed to respond to e mails and or wouldn’t answer sms or calls. A total waste of time and effort. My request to help with couriers etc a big no no. Not worth the effort - a mess.

Watch Pick n Pay Aliwal till slips - for inflated prices
As often happens the till slip was for a higher price - this time for Avis. Nearly 10 rand more. I obtained the price sticker to give to the till operator. I offered to show her the Avis - but no did not want to see them. So I repacked my purchases. Then the nonsense started. Now can I see the Avis - no not going to get another packet to see. I walked out with the misleading Savings sticker and my till slip. Just ripping customers off and I had places to be. Watch the wrong high till prices at Aliwal PnPay. This is the second time this has happened with bulk Avis in two months. Not good enough!,

Poor service.
Has not read their meter for going on 5 months. House has been under renovation and Eskom ignores readings sent in. The estimate relates to when the house was occupied by at least 4 persons. It has not been occupied for 5 months.

I did get a response to my last comments. I recently went back and must say the situation has changed and specials are as advertised - well done to them.

Misleading Marketing
Three times I have looked at the specials as advertised on the internet. For the Eastern Cape and Inland. Valid until 31 July - right!!! So off to get the mince special and butter special plus cheese. Not evident at all - so I took my shopping list and went to Ok. I hate misleading marketing - will go elsewhere each time.

Not good enough
Do not order from this entity. Some purchases are delivered to your door but the others are sent to your local Post Office. Not acceptable as such are used for Relief payments to so many people and are packed with recipients. At a time when one avoids crowds this is unacceptable. Never mind that at such time some customs payment is required - not agreed to at the time of purchase. The agreement between a US company and the SA Postal Ser5vices is not disclosed up front and I would advise that Wish be given a very wide birth - do not use this entity..

Bad Experience
Aliwal - I use a small bag over my shoulder to carry tins etc. On entering the security staff were not interested in seeing if it was empty but wanted me to leave it on the floor at the entrance. Around me they were body searching people - possibly their own staff. I asked the Manager if he thought such was acceptable. He asked security if they searched me - really. I left the store - a terrible shopping experience I am not interested in.

Small town - so everyone knows - great honesty and good service. People seem wedded to this business as they come back from out f town.
